  1. If you want a frontier game, then say so. Don't claim the game lacks features it most definitely has.
  2. You can choose to direct portals towards different towns, you can use your altar to more efficiently train prayer, you can use your lectern to prepare spell tabs, you can use your kitchen to train cooking for free, you can use your workshop to repair degradable stuff. Really, just because you don't pay attention to the different functions doesn't mean they're not there.
  3. Something tells me you've never really bothered to try it out. Yes, in the kitchen, workshop and costume room it's going to be pretty similar due to some stuff being better than others, but in the dining room, bedroom, games room, quest hall, skill hall, etc. it's your choice what stuff to add where, not to mention the chapel where you can mix and match stuff from whatever god/ancient-hero-made-cat you want. In the end there's more freedom than there is in HnH.
  4. I'm just saying. You're making Construction out to be a lazy [bleep]fest, well of course it's gonna be if you take the lazy solutions. Just because there are alternatives to make things easier doesn't mean its necessarily too easy. Making a house in Runescape is just as much and the same kind of work as it is in HnH as long as you do it yourself.
  5. It's not prepackaged if you make the stuff yourself.
  6. It's a money sink, but it's in no way pure use of prefabricated items. The only skill that is like that is Summoning, what with none of the items being obtainable except through trade or as drops. And yeah, it was strip of cloth that is weaveable, whereas it is bolt of cloth that is used for construction.
  7. You know you can choose to build everything from scratch down to chopping logs for the planks, mining metals for the nails and limestone for the bricks as well as spinning yak hair for the ropes. I even think you can weave wool for the cloth. So the only things you have to buy are the paintings, rooms, marble and gold leaves. Also I've just acquired a fully furnished apartment near the school for a mere $370/mo, including electricity and broadband. Looks like there are pros to going to a school in the middle of nowhere.
  8. Something tells me you never tried Construction, as that is exactly how that skill works: You get a wide, open plot and you start building your house.
  9. Not much one for retro MMOs. Why not resume playing RuneScape or start a SMP server on Minecraft?
  10. Third year vocational school. And yeah it's a strange field, only 36 spots in all of Norway, but you still don't need that great grades to get in.
  11. And I'm now unofficially accepted into astrotechnology. Was a bit of confusion due to Buskerud county authority managing to send my application to an obsolete email, but after a phone call with the headmaster at Andøy videregående, I've now been personally guaranteed a spot.
  12. Even if they included Dropbox and Wikipedia, it'd still be an inconvenience, because what if I to omit any size limitation decided to host my pictures using my computer as the server? Then I'd be using the method they wish to block because it's possible to use it to learn where the people who view the picture live.
  13. The avatar thing isn't an inconvenience, the image host requirement is.
  14. While the new forum skin appears a bit more modern, I must say I detest most of this update. A security upgrade to provide a slight upgrade of anonymity at the cost of a wast inconvenience, removal of the dual avatar feature and adding a like button to posts... it's like they're trying to set the target group of the forum to no one.
  15. Never browse mollusks on Wikipedia. I did and now I want an aquarium with sea slugs. You see this little [bleep]er here? It grows up to three centimeters long and preys on the Portuguese Man o' War. EDIT: Oi, [bleep] you Tip.It. Why the hell can't we use pictures from Wikipedia? EDIT2: Not Dropbox either? Well [bleep] you, you piece of shit!
  16. Lol, looks like I didn't miss as much time as I thought I did. I thought I'd managed to sleep through most of Friday, but it turns out I was just out for a few minutes or so.
  17. Yes, I'm fairly certain I haven't had any holes drilled into my skull recently.
  18. Seeing as there's still daylight at 9 PM, that would be stupid. Also I keep waking up at that time even when I don't go to sleep. Like today, when I just randomly passed out while on the computer.
  19. Dammit! Why do I keep waking up at 9 PM?
  20. Alternatively Mibbit works as well as long as you connect to the irc.tip.it server.
  21. Any chance you could provide the IP to said server? I've got unusually little to do these days.
  22. Yo, Sere.
  23. Yes, but usually not the first time it decides to take a stroll in the middle of winter. I mean, I never leave the house. This is literally the first time in years that I've left the house just for the sake of leaving the house.
  24. Funny timing, you post your response a mere minute or two after I get back home from a spontaneous 16km bike trip through town.
  25. Runny eyes are more embarrassing, especially in public places. I once spent a whole week at school looking like I was crying due to a cold.
