I wrote down how I did the quest with melee as a main option. If you have 70+ combat stats you might find it useful. Anyway, good luck! Stats which were involved: Combat 95, Att/Str/Def - 76/75/75, Magic - 74, Prayer - 62, Agility - 64. Basically I meleed everybody. The only exception was Ice Trolls near the cave entrance (used magic there), but thinking back I could melee them just as well. Potions I spent: 12 prayer pots 2 super attack and super strength pots 1 super def pot 15 energy pots 7 restore pots (avoided using super restores) I also earned 10 full antiposions along the way, lol Food: 25 sharks Notes about 4 diamods: 1. Diamond of Shadow First of all, I spent so much time opening that cursed chest!!! Broke 30 lockpicks. Good that I was able to steal them from Bandits easily. Damis was quite difficult to kill. I was wearing my best melee outfit (granite body, warrior helm, rune legs and kite, had whip and dragon dagger). Initially I though I can keep my prayer up during the fight, but within a minute all 4 prayer pots I had with me were gone and Damir was barely injured. Plus it was multicombat zone and skeletons were attacking me too. I stepped out into the tunnel and seriously considered teleporting out and thinking it over. But I still had 10 sharks, so I made another try without prayer. Drank my super def pot, killed skeleton and dog nearby and lured Damir into the tunnel, so we would be alone. Poisoned him and, suprisingly , he died just fine. I even had 1 shark left at the end. 2. Diamond of Blood This one turned out to be the hardest for me. The Vampire appeared to be a formiddable foe. My first attempt (in the same melee outfit) failed and I had to tele out. Then I realized that I don't really need all these heavy armor pieces, as I was going to use protect from melee anyway. I needed to worry about magic attacks instead. So I wore black dragonhide armor and it turned out fine. Potted up with protect from melee, whip and black dragonhide I killed him. Still wasn't easy - at the end I ran out of food. 3. Diamond of Ice Wasn't that hard, but still quite hard and long. As I said I maged Ice Trolls while having protect from melee on (it was annoying, as I had to drink my restore potions all the time, to keep the spell working - I do seriously think that melee might be easier there). After that I teleported out and restocked with restore potions and sharks. Walked by the dogs with prayer on and killed Kamil. It was easy. I used the same tactic with black dragonhide armor, protect from melee, dragon dagger and whip. I spent just a few sharks on him. But then there was this ridiculos ice walk - I nearly died there, had to eat a lot. Plus at the end I spent some time crashing the ice cubes. I was glad that i had dagger with me, as whip can't be used there (beware!). 4. Diamond of Smoke Easiest of them. Very fast and easy. Same armor and tactic. I didn't get ANY damage from Fareed. Finally Pyramid. The key is to have protect from melee on and have full load of energy pots. You need to run all the time, so you won't fall into a hole. I ended up falling twice.

I agree. That's probably the best place if you can get there.

Cow hides will be pretty quick way, but would recomments making bowstrings instead. Buy flax (90-100ea), make bowstrings and sell them (180-200ea). This way is also very quick (if you buy flax), plus you will EARN a lot of money along the way.

Slaying Kalphite Queen Guide ~In-Depth~ DChain drop *Look*

Sweet! Thank you for making it! -
Stay in Brimhaven until lvl 52. You would fall much too often on Ape Atoll. It gets good over there only around lvl 65. At lvl 52 take an Agility pot and go to the Wilderness course. You'll get to 56 in no time there.

I notices it too with palm and apple trees. But it never happened to me when I paid the farmer to watch after them. I would suggest paying the farmers whenever possible.
-
I'd go with the bow. 6K are gonna take a loooong time, so you should be better of with faster way.
-
Yes, this gout tuber is mandatory. You get it as a very rare event while chopping jungles there. I am stuck on this one too :wall: Spent so much time and still didn't get the goat tuber... Good luck to you though!
-
definetely use dragon hide or you get fried (literally :-) ) And , yes, these monster are capable of doing some major damage to you regardless.
-
I think it is a good way to build a starting capital. Bowstrings are easy sell for 180-200ea, so you would double your investment plus you'll get crafting exp.
-
I just checked it with maple longbows(u). I was able to sell them to the charter shop at 112 gp each. Literally a gold mine. Buy maple logs 80-90 ea, make unstrung long bows and sell for a good profit. Fletchins now becomes very profitable even on middle levels!

I wrote a little guide a while ago. I hope you'll find it useful. First of all this is not a guide how to raise construction fastest possible way - this is a guide how to do it fastest possible way with minimum possible money spent! You'll still spend some money, but, hey, what you expect from construction skill? :-) If you have billions, just buy the planks and have your servant bring them to you. End of story. If you don't have billions, read further: Ok, it is quite simple. Here is the procedure (I am assuming you can use Camelot teleport, if not - sorry). 1. Hire the cook as a servant (need lvl 30 construction) 2. Equip air staff and have in your inventory: hammer, saw, money (like 100K), law runes, earth runes, axe. 3. Get a load of oak logs 4. Teleport to the house and send the servant to sawmill to make 16 oak planks 5. When the servant returns give her the rest 6 logs. 6. While she is away, build oak tables (preferrably carved ones) at workbench. 7. When she is back with last 6 planks, make the last table and teleport to Camelot 8. Walk a few steps south and there are 2 oaks right at the road! Cut new load of logs 9. Teleport to the house, and so on... Every load results in >1.2K exp. Allows you to get to lvl 50-55 very quick without ever going to samwill and without paying for logs or expensive servants.

Thanks for the tips! But seriously can you make the guide? I am considering soloing it too in the future. Or is there already a guide, anyone?

15% is a lot actually!

They are still the same guards though. -
If you can't do the quest just yet, you can still find Fire Giants in Brimhaven Dungeon (south west of Brimhaven, entrance is right at the gold mine). You will need about 1K to enter and an axe to chop vines inside. To get to the Fire Giants take north west passage, then cross the big room to the south and take south west passage from that big room. Beware, the dogs are aggressive there. But after a while they stop attacking you and you can range Fire Giants from safe spots there.

Yes, it is worth buying. If you can buy the best tool for wc in the game, I'd say go for it!
-
I am pretty sure you can do it, but you shouldn't!!! Just go to the mage in the center of the Abyss and he will fix the pouch for you for free.
-
I'd say get to lvl 80 fletch as soon as you can (just 3 levels for you!) and start making and high alching magic longs: -- buy logs 1k ea -- buy nature runes 300ea (or 225ea from Magic guild or Al-Morrisane) -- buy or make bow strings (180ea or 100ea) At the end you are making very good profit and tons of exp even if you buy all ingrediences. Meanwhile, I would suggest to make and sell/high alch yew longs. -- buy logs 250-300ea -- buy or make bow strings (180ea or 100ea) Sell bows or high alch them. You also get profit either way. You can also just push to lvl 80 on maples or willows. If you decide to do so, buy maples 80-90ea, make bows (don't string them!!!) and sell unstrung bows to the general store (or better in a charter ship store in Brimhaven with Karamja gloves).

Does this mean it wont work if you're ranging something caged cos it is in the way or does it stil work? It won't work when you range a caged monster (like Ogres on the Training Ground and such)
-
Ranged 70 is absolutly needed! The main reason is black dragon hide. You get THE armor agains magic. Pretty cheap too, so you can wear it in wildy. Plus very very useful as a protection from majority of slayer mosters.
-
Coal trucks are faster. Mining guild is better if you mine mithril at the same time (bank it or make bars on the spot)
-
I 100% agree with what was said above. Just a few addition benefits: -- it gives very good Range bonus (+4)!! -- it just looks very cool
-
I believe they are F2P, but can be obtained only by members. You get them by stealing from H.A.M. Then rigth click on them and polish. They are junk essensially.
