  1. Get yourself a santa. These are incredibly popular with the rich, and are very promising investments, for several reasons. hillarious as it is, dummies alch their santas all the time, and it's estimated that the price of a santa rises 300-500k every time one dissappears. The runescape population is growing exponentially. just recently runescape hit 1 million members, and there are probably 5 times as many non members. The more players there are, the more rich players there are, and the more rich players there are, the higher demand for rares. For some reason, the prices on masks seem to have slowly gone down in the past several months, but santas are almost constantly rising. Especially in december, when everyone wants one. The difference between masks and santas is that after halloween, the price on masks goes back to normal. but after christmas, the santas keep most of their boosted value, and then keep rising! given all this, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if santas hit 100m in 2 years. Definitely a good long-term investment. edit: one thing you'll have to watch out for is big updates, like the Construction skill. When Construction was released, and people realised how much money they were going to need to raise it, they started selling all their expensive stuff. Now there were more rare items on the market than there was a demand for, so people had to lower their prices in order to compete with other sellers. In a week after construction was released, the price of the dchain dropped nearly 4m!! it eventually went back up, but the economy is still scarred from that few weeks. However, discontinued items will always recover from such events, simply because they're not making any more.
  2. just go to pc! stand near a portal and throw your chins into the middle of a pile of Pests, and watch your hit count fly =)
  3. Torag's armor ftw!! torag has the strongest helmet, pl8, and legs in the game. and it's probably down to around 1.5m now. The cheapest and the best, what more could you ask for? don't bother with the hammers, though. they suck. rune boots, of course, and barrows gloves if you've done rfd. Since you want to train str, use dscimmy or dhally, since you can't train str with a whp. Actually, in my experience, I've had better luck with dscimmy and dhally than I ever did with a whip. With 18m for spending, dsquare is a given, as is an obby cape. And if you're training on Tzhaar-Kets, as I recommend, or anything with good drops, a Ring of Wealth really does help. If you buy all this at the highest possible price, it'll only cost you 3.75m for what I would call some of the best equipment in the game! this will leave you with more than 14.25m to donate to me! edit: also, when you get your combat to around 110, full guthans is AWESOME on these guys! I once watched my lvl 112 friend kill these guys in guthans for 2 hours straight, without food!
  4. Well, switching to NDP would almost certainly require you to spend a looooooooooong time training skills in order to get him any money. For your main, it'd just a matter of getting some decent combat equipment for your level and spending a week or two training. Trust me on this, I know how much it sucks to be lazy in RS, especially if you're as ADD as me :anxious: but it would take a lot less work to get 80 strength on your main than it would to get decent moneymaking skills on your pure. By the looks of your main's stats, you would love training on lvl 149 tzhaar-kets. ever done any training in there? just throw on some torag's armor, dscimmy, and obby set, and bring a few hundered lobbies there, and watch your stats fly as your obby drops stack up  If, however, you decide to stick with your pure, just get to work on your favorite money making skill. My point is, your main already has all of these--it's only behind in strength and range, and you could have these two stats high enough to match your pure's str and range in a couple weeks.
  5. I finished a lvl 3 trail just a couple days ago, with 5 clues in the trail. I had to fight lvl 108 Uri twice and lvl 108 Saradominist Wizard once. For all my hard work, I got some rune crap, a few lobs, and a few laws. bummer. If you get lvl 3 coordinate clue that leads you into the wilderness, you'll have to fight a Zamorakian Mage (lvl 84? not sure...) who uses Flames of Zamorak and is a total N00b to kill with melee, as long as you have Protect from Mage prayer on. Bring your watch, sextant, and chart, a spade, a decent weapon (dds should work fine), and plenty of food if you dont have 37 prayer. Keep an eye on the minimap. if you see a white dot, LOG OUT, because you WON'T keep your clue if you die!! also, it's not a bad idea to bring runes to teleport the hell outta there, once you get your stuff. just dig in the exact spot, kill the mage who appears, dig in the same spot again, and GET OUT. Also, if you get a casket, don't open it till you're out of the wilderness, because you've got a better chance of keeping it than a clue. a few more hints that might help: if you get another coordinate that leads you outside of the wilderness, you'll have to fight the Saradominist Mage, lvl 108, who melees with ddp if you have mage protect on, mages with Saradomin Strike if you have Melee protect on, and variates between the two if you don't pray. Just turn on Mage protect, bring some good food, and melee him if you have to fight him. for coordinate clues, you MUST bring your watch, sextant, and chart with you when you dig, as well as your clue, or else he won't appear, and you wont be able to get your stuff, even if you ding in the exact spot. I know this has gotten really long, but if you need more help, or if you get stuck on a clue, check out Tip.It's extensive guide on Trails, on the left menu bar on the homepage. That should answer every question you can think of. Hope I've helped!
  6. Thanks, Bashful, I knew I was leaving something out!!
  7. Looks ike a hard decision--It's basically a question of combat or skills, too bad you didn't put them both into 1 account. I guess it all depends on your preferred way of making money. Your pure isn't all that bad for PVP fighting, but its stats are really lacking. Your main, however has several great moneymaking stats, as well as far better mage and prayer. I'd suggest you stick with your main. You're a lot safer sticking with skills for moneymaking (unless you're totalynectar, lol), and you can use that money to make mage your main form of combat. Also, it would be 10 times faster to level up your main's melee stats to where your pure is than to level all of your pure's lame skills to match your main's Hope this helps!
  8. the best quest storyline in the game  and the longest. Chronologically listed, they are: Sheep herder* Plague City Biohazard Underground Pass Regicide Roving Elves Mourning's End I Mourning's End II *comes into play in Mourning's End I, but not a requirement to start the storyline Hope that answers your question!
  9. Well, for one thing, you're fighting the 133's, the Tzhaar-Xils. There's your problem. Their only obby drop is the cape (and mabey rings?). I had this same problem when I first started training in there, because I was afraid of the 149's, the Tzhaar-Kets. My multi-millionaire friend told me that he had made most of his cash from Tzhaar-Ket obby drops, and that the Xils aren't much more than a waste of time. The Kets are the only ones who drop mauls and shields, and they have a higher drop rate of capes than the Xils. Which brings us to the highly-debated issue on the Ring of Wealth... I started killing these guys with a Ring of Life on, and after 300 kills, without a single obby drop or a single near-death-experience, I decided to keep trying with a ring of wealth. I probably killed 50 before I got my first obby drop, a maul, and in the 1500 or so Tzhaar-Kets that followed, I racked in 2 more mauls, 2 capes, and 2 shields. In fact, the last thing I did on that account before I was banned without warning, was to kill one more Ket, which gave me an obby shield (worth 500k back then) and 91 cb. logged in the next day, and I was banned. If you're not sure you're ready for these guys, look at your cb stats and armor. I started around 85 cb, with full rune and a dscimmy. I ate 2 or 3 lobsters per kill. At 90, I was in Torags with my dscimmy, eating 1 or 2 tuna per kill. If you pick a fight with one and you have to run away from the second or third Ket, I'd suggest training a bit before trying to get drops from these guys.
  10. I'd recommend Torag's armor, with anti-dragon/dragonfire shield, anti-dragon pots, and your choice in weapon. People say Torag is for poor noobs, but these 3 pieces are the toughest armor in the game. Plus, it's less than half the price of Verac's (last time I checked), so if you get roasted, you don't have too much to worry about.
  11. For one, you've got a fair chance of finding a seller in a fairly crowded Seers bank Lots of people go to Edgeville to sell them, because there are usually buyers there who use glories in the Abyss. If all else fails, get into w2 fally park. Just north of the door to the bank, against the fence, there are tons of people selling glories/dds'. However, these people are mostly merchs, intent on destroying the RuneScape economy by buying uncharged glories at minimum price, charging them, and selling them at maximum, so it might be hard to find a cheap one there. Glories are one of the most traded items in P@P, so it really shouldn't be hard to get ahold of one.
