  1. Running around from point B to C, and bank at point A, and repeating: is in spirit of the game ...
  2. They could fix the game in a way that Effigies don't affect your highscore. They don't have to ruin effigies
  3. A combat player is forced to do many non combat skills to get their hands on Completionist cape (the best stats cape), But when a combat player kills monsters for effigies to level RC through effigies - it's wrong? TELL ME : How is it in the spirit of Combat to level skills you don't like to get your hands on a Cape that you want? I find it hypocritical that EFfigies drop rate and cap has been put. It takes 1) time to get Effigies and 2) Time to open them (whether that be boost or not). I certainly used over 5min+ sometimes to open a effigy with boost. (Spicy stews). With 5 Effigies cap ull have less effigies requiring same skill and level. So you use between 3 to 10min to open ONE effigy. Not to mention if you get your 5th Effigy you might want to cancel what your doing if you want to keep on getting effigies.
  4. lol i know. I just wanted to post this somewhere to show how similar they look :)
  5. This is Kreera (armadyl boss) I found a concept art of possibly the brother of Kreera?
  6. So you got to 85+ all skills without ever grinding? Do tell your secrets please  No one asked you or is forcing you to grind for it. If you want the best cape, stat-wise, in the game, then decide for yourself if you want to grind for it. Or hey, maybe do the same secret non-grind that got you to level 85+! As time came so did quest requirements, and so i leveled my skills to meet them for the combat rewards. And there is huge difference level of grinding between getting few skills leveled to certain requirement like 80-85, and having to level many skills to 99. Since you seem confused let me word myself differently: Comp cape is for extreme grinders.
  7. The time i played i did everything to get optimize my avatar's gear. And i did that, and even more. It's not completely asinine to assume that those who have comp cape are addicts, but it would be asinine to assume they all are. Be realistic. And i am not limiting myself, because i would do anything combat related to get a combat reward. You ask for a combat reward - you must do a combat challenge. And that i am willing to. The only thing limiting me is the flaw that you have to complete the whole game to receive the reward in form of best stats cape. Please don't be like many others and tell me the line "Well that's the reward for finishing the game", there is MANY ways to reward people who have completed the game than give them the best stats cape, and thus indirectly force Combat players to grind for it.
  8. I started posting again because i saw the news about sequel to Fight cave. And the time i played Runescape i did not limit myself. I gained 85+ in all skills (even though they didn't have much to do with combat), for quest, diary and other requirements. Despite being a player type that likes combat i did all that. Just because i don't want to grind like others does not mean i am limiting myself. As of now the Completionist cape is just a cape catering to grinders. Even though Combat players should have the stats of Comp cape in form of a crap looking cape with no emote. Because afterall a Combat player would have 120 in Dung, gotten 99 in all Combat and finished the combat related activities related to Completion challenge. And how can you fill the gap when Combat players are given a cape with same stats as Comp? You can give more rewards to Completionist cape such as a statue of your avatar in POH. Completionist cape is just a item for certain players to feel exclusive and special. If you gave the stats that Comp cape has to Combat players (players who've achieved the limit of Combat), and added more rewards to Completionist cape, the Comp players would complain. Why? They want to maintain their status. But hey those who grind much will eventually get Comp cape. And grinding leads to addiction, and addiction leads to money for Jagex. So it's all good.
  9. Wow, Ozan, Sir Owen and Max? I haven't met them with my avatar! I quit before they came into game. But i expected that they would be "holier than thou" characters and thous annoying characters. I guess my expectation is right since you guys want to kill them lol.
  10. Ok, this thread is about TOP three NPCs you would like to kill to make Runescape a better place. A npc is short for non player character. My list : 1. Wise Old Man 2. Wise Old man's lover 3. Varrock King's wife
  11. I think if my avatar had a story it would be to assassinate the "Holier than thou" characters. HIGHEST PRIORITY: Warrior's Guild Second: Sandwhich Lady Third: Wise old man and his bish Fourth: Signature Heroes (i haven't experienced them but i want to just take them out). I would never kill Cyrous (the guy from Moonclan Quest that were afraid of fighting). He's really a awesome Npc :)
  12. Lol. I really dislike "Holier than thou" characters. In Runescape quests our avatar's are treated as ameaturs :P
  13. Lol, i want to see that guy falling into the lava more than Ozano or Ozo or whatever his naem is.
  14. I hope it's just for show. If that turns out not to be the case - then make sure you push Ozano or Azono into the lava and say "oops".
  15. Hope the lava burns him. I sure wouldn't like a NPC telling me "This monster is dangeorus - Run username X! I will fight it!". "[bleep] please i am here to kill the monster not run away from it -.-"
  16. When you have to team up with a CPU that acts self righteous you know your in for a hard time. For a while i got extremely annoyed at the NPCs in Warrior guild. A bloody monk with a 2h sword on his shoulder going on about something along the lines of "Thrust not without your heart" -i was thinking "Wtf O.o".
  17. @ Deletion Well if Jagex did something like that and really thought it through - it would give more rewards to Comp players but at same time make it less "grind" for Combat players. Completionist cape wouldn't loose it's status either. The crap looking no emote cape with same stats as Completionist cape could be called "War cape". The name of Completionist cape could be changed to "Perfect Cape" if people wants that as well.
  18. What the? Is that the new Tzhaar Kiln boss?
  19. Then here is what i suggest: Combat cape - a crap looking cape with stats equal to Comp cape Comp cape - The current cape with emote, cosmetic look and the stats of Combat cape. And Comp cape rewards can be increased (here is two rewards i suggest): + Ability to make a statue of your avatar with exact outfitt of your choice (similar to photobooth for forum avatar) + Teleport to a skilling place with all avaible tools and necessary things.
  20. Which is why it's a flaw in Runescape. Diary rewards have many versions from lesser to greater. Take Ardy cloak: Ardy easy Ardy medium Ardy hard Ardy Elite Plus someone mentioned that Comp cape should have more rewards (besides myself) for all skills. And that's pretty smart. I am not saying you shouldn't work hard for a reward. I've gotten 10 99-skills. 10! On top of that i went through over a week or two to get my Castle wars halo. And i did loads of struggling to get Imbue ability. But i really do not want to complete the whole game to get the best cape. And for me having the best items made the game fun.
  21. Too bad, you're playing an MMO with more than combat skills. I quit. But grind mentality in Runescape is obviously considered better than making things fair for different kind of players. Like i have said earlier people who've completed everything could be rewarded in other ways in addition to the stats of Comp. You could allow them to make a statue of their avatar, similar to when you go to PhotoBooth in Rimmington. You can give Comp players access to a "Skill" focused area similar to Grand exchange with convenient things like chisel, hammer, minor fishing spots, and banks. And that's just two more rewards (of many) that can be added to list of rewards for Comp players. Then the combat players can receive the stats of Comp cape in form of a crap looking cape.
  22. I started to play rs for Combat. But somewhere along the lines it went from 80+ non combat skill requirements for combat items to COMPLETE the whole game for ONE simple cape. If a player has 99 in all combat and 120 dungeoneering, and finished the required COMBAT minigames for COMP cape - why should he/she not receive a Comp cape without emote and same cosmetic cape look? Why can't that player receive a crap looking Comp cape but with same stats? I rather play the game with things i like than grind my way to completing the whole game.
  23. Like i said, there is not a very crap looking cape with no emote but with same stats as Completionist cape. And people who have Comp expect it to absorb the new Fire cape and make Comp cape far superior than new Fire cape alone. What you said is that people want the new Fire cape to be equal to Comp cape. And i just proved you wrong. And i said that those who've done all the requirements for the full or "greater" Comp cape should have all it's rewards, and those who've done the challenges that has with combat should have the combat stats reward. In otherwords - a lesser version of Comp cape. But it's obviously not going through your head, and you like to be confuse yourself with things i haven't said - so it's time to end this.
