  1. Spawning monsters is what many people hoped for in Community events (like the event Banishing the revs). If Jagex community event crew does this kind of things then Runescape will be much cooler. Seems though based on the picture and previous zombie events that Zombies may dominate the events. If so then it'll be boring.
  2. Next you know "Sorry you can no longer play Runescape on your computer. Go to nearest Runescape Center (cost per hour at center: 5 dollars);
  3. Third best free game? That seems correct. 1st? lol don't make me puke.
  4. filled with cheats in 3 years
  5. Ah yeah. From that perspective it is inconvenient. I just thought of RWT that didn't involve botting.
  6. It's hard for me to find RWT inconvenient to the degree that it's troublesome. With that said i don't think you can speak for everyone when you say that RWT is inconvenient for legit players. Quite honestly if it wasn't for the rule against RWT i am positive Jagex would have sold items, game currency and such themself.
  7. That is true. But the same old attitude where they made the game incovenient for legit players because of RWT seems to still be there.
  8. Inconvenient - that's the word. They took away Free Trade and Wilderness. It made the game incovenient for legit players. They brought Free Trade and Wilderness back. IN FUTURE 1 They do same for bots IN FUTURE 2 They restore what they did in Future 1. Seems like same stuff all over dont'cha think?
  9. 1M per hour? I heard from a friend that used bots at Green dragons and managed nearly 1M per hour. And what's the point of 85 Dungeoneering if the dragon gives only 1M per hour? I went for 85 Dungeoneering because Frost dragons were like Green dragons. Easy and profitable. Now they have been made a bit worse for the sake of tackling bots. And we all know bots will easily return. Might as well go back to Green dragons with better tactic since Frosts have become more troublesome to deal with. I did little Frost dragons killing but i prefered to do them than bosses because it was consistent and fairly easy. If they become a bit harder then what's the point lol.
  10. I remember i went the extra mile to 85 Dungeoneering because Frost dragons awaited. A monster that weren't to tough with great profit. Now there is no reason to go kill them because they have become stronger. Might as well go and Kill Nex , Corporeal or other bosses. Way to fix bot problems lol.
  11. This is just a poll so please do VOTE! NOTE: I think Legend of Zelda is great as it is, but i personally would like to see a realistic form of it. (Just to see how it would be).
  12. Before i start on main point of this topic, let me ask this ; Do you prefer realistic or different style of art for Games? Example of different styles are Mario, japanese style, Rayman, I was thinking "What happens when technology makes it easily to make games with VERY, VERY realistic graphics?". I also thought of Japanese anime art style of games. Inafune said that he fears that Japanese game market will disappear because it's done so much. http://www.videogamer.com/xbox360/dead_rising_2/news/inafune_fears_japanese_game_industry_will_disappear.html So what if in future technology make it easy to create realistic game art (so realistic that it's 0,1% away 100% real world movie recording). Would the situation become like Japanese games market? Would game developers go back to "old roots" or old graphics of Gaming (like paint artists in human history), and producers request these types of games for market reasons? What do you think?
  13. Thanks
  14. That's a example of reboots doing because of technology. For example Tomb Raider reboot (new one) looks much better graphically than previous Tomb Raider games, and Tomb raider girl is around same character. I think the word "reboot" would be very appropriate for that prince of persia scenario. So let's see: 1. Rebooting at an early stage of game development 2. Rebooting because of technology (Prince of persia classic game>2003 Prince of Persia) That's two scenarios of when the word reboot would fit most. Then there is: 3. Reboot done only to gain more money (An unecessary reboot). DmC is a good example of reboot scenario #3 because a spokesman said "If DmC goes well we might continue on that, if it goes bad we will go back to making a original DMC serie sequel (DMC 5)". Even fans do not want the rebooted game "DmC" and expected same gameplay, story and characters just with a bit more innovative stuff.
  15. You know what i would say defines the word "reboot" in Gaming? I will show you all through a scenario: A Game developer works on a game and is pretty much finished with story A and character X, but then he decides he needs to go in a other direction because current choices are not to good. So he changes story A to story B, and character X to character Z. That's what i think what the word "reboot" truly means (or should?) IN GAMING. In Movies i would say it's a different thing because Movies come and go very fast. For example the super hero Superman is an iconic character for superheroes. So as time passes (perhaps every 20 years) they make a new movie of that hero. Devil May Cry, a game serie i like has been rebooted and i am not here to complain about it. But i know that i and many other fans like the original character and story and gameplay. All we hoped for was changes in form of improvements. But they rebooted the serie AFTER 4 games already out (DMC 1, 2, 3 and 4). Which leads to my second point - game companies use the word "reboot" so that they can make a new game but label it with the name of a previous successful game so that they can attract players and thus earn more money. My third point, what defines a reboot in Gaming, and where is the boundary between reboot and new game? What do you think of the word "reboot" in Gaming? I think it's a crap word. For example Legend of Zelda Link has green hat thing, green clothes and blonde hair. And a sword. That's the image i get of "Link". So in Wind waker? when they went all Cartoonish i thought "That's fair, it's same Link". Another example, Mario is a plumber with red hat and mustache. Let's say they changed Mario into a guy with Al Capon hair and he is now an car mechanic. In my and many other minds Mario will always be the plumber with red hat.

  17. I don't know about the other nominees but Jagex is pathetic. They ask for you to vote for Runescape BECAUSE you play Runescape, not because Runescape is really the best F2P game. And the state Runescape is in (bots and auto typer bots), they are rude enough to ask? And now they are asking ONCE MORE. People saying yes to Runescape for best F2P Game. Also voted for RuneScape, the game receives constant updates and have been a firm F2P favourite for years. Runescape hands down! Jagex have made a masterpiece, played this game before paid MMO's and just went to the website the other day and my jaw dropped, 3d software, Cinematic s Amazing! well i am levell 50 and what i can say its a pretty dam good game COMMENT ^ i wonder what level 126 in F2P would say. Runescape will always have my vote. It is by far the best free mmorpg I've ever played. I never get bored and I can never wait to get online to play. COMMENT ^ but why is Runescape the best free mmorpg? Are you member? Vote for Runescape, best MMO I've ever f**king played. COMMENT ^ again why? RUNESCAPE RULESSSS COMMENT^ Careless voting... i see! People vote for Runescape because they are either member, low level in F2P or just are addicted to Runescape. It's wrong to be member and vote "Yes, Runescape is best F2P game!" when your playing P2P. It's also ironic. I'd say only players who have been in F2P Runescape for 3 months and are not members can decide whether Runescape is best F2P game or not.
  18. Most likely yes. But it's known downloads, so if you want to be extra sure try to find the setup for the programs from a known site.
  19. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58q3SRR8czM Go to 9:00 in the video - AND VOTE IN POLL!
  20. EDIT: Found the game. Man it was on Playstation ONE! OMG i thought it was playstation 2. :ohnoes: So in all side-scrolling games you can pick up a pistol and throw them at enemies? In all side-scrolling games there is a "hulk" like character? In all side-scrolling games there is a "cammy" kinda girl character? With those three lines my point is i have pointed out who you could see in the game. Anyhow it was a good game. Side scrolling? Time to search again =) Thanks!
  21. Ok i remember a game i played. I think it was a ps2 game, perhaps playstation one. It was a multiplayer game where two or maybe more could play game and controll a character each. The background/stage would not continue unless both players were at end of the stage/background (right end). An Arrow would appear at right end of screen when a stage was completed (waves of enemies killed). I remember a character with black long hair (ponytail?) = a man. I remember a big "Hulk" kinda character And i espescially remember a girl character that looked like Cammy from Street fighter In the game you could pick up guns or weapons and use them on enemies or even throw them when you were for example out of ammo. So anyone know what the name of the game is?
  22. Hey, i need cash and i am currently F2P. Any good amount of cash will be great. I will PM you my reason for cash.
  23. WHO WILL RECEIVE THE JAYSTICK?
  24. If you buy a ticket and go to Runefest to discuss bots then there must be something wrong with me. Because i would buy tickets only to go and partcipate in all activities.
