  1. No i have used Ring of wealth alot there, and i have gotten alot common rares. Where my record of Rune full helms being 6 of them in 1 task! So i will add that to list. Thanks for your help. I think you're wandering into questionable territory by adding that to your list. And sample of 90 is way TOO small to be considered a reliable statistic. You're going to have to go to the thousands of abb spectres killed to get an accurate estimate... for actual rares, maybe even a hundred thousand kills or more. I have killed over 1000 Aberant spectres, and like i said we would have to use our experience to figure out what items at what monsters have very high possibility to be affected by using Ring of wealth. There is so many Forum TIF members, and i am only 1 of them. I have killed over 1000 Aberant spectres. I wanted this thread to not be a discussion thread of how Ring of wealth works and i said that in my first post, but it turned out that way because some decided not to listen. It seems impossible for us players to work together to get some results because Ring of wealth is not that easy to figure. Of course that is true, Ring of wealth is not and i didn't intend to get 100% results but a high possibility of items that may be affected by use of Ring of wealth. As i also have stated in first post, you could claim a item is being affected based on: 1) Tests you have done 2) Experience 3) Statistics of other players. 4) Monster. Some monsters drops a certain item more than other. Something that's common rare at a boss can be very rare at a normal monster. And that means you have had to kill many of a monster before you should say "I think X item is affected by Ring of wealth". From there i hoped for more than 5 more players who have killed many of that type monster and agree to that person who claims the monster drops X item more with Ring of wealth. Also for those who likes to just say "This will fail", of course it will fail if you spread spam saying that. Instead be cooperative and maybe...maybe we could have some decent results for ONCE. Jagex said they would be open about it but they still aren't. Also what i do not get is, is there a "Very rare" category when it comes to items from Jagex view? Because i have used Ring of wealth at Solo boss kills and i get the least best rare (Shard instead of a hilt). And...what decides a rare is better than other?
  2. Yes it improves your chance of a better rare, but the Moderator in that post says Ring of wealth works on common rares. But: What rare is the better one then? Does it affect drops thats not commonly dropped such as Abyssal whip, Black mask, God hilts, Bandos and Armadyl armour? I don't think it does. All i know is that commonly rares seem to be: Godsword shards Dragon boots Rune boots Rune full helm etc There is common drops, rare drops, very rare drops... Isen't God hilts under "Very rare" which might mean that Ring of wealth don't work for them? Even frustrating is that what items is rare and very rare changes from monster to monster... But right now i wanna create a list of items that Ring of wealth have high possibility of working on based on players experience. So please no more talk about how Ring of wealth works. EDIT: I know what's common rare and what's not. And Godsword shards are common rares. Very often i have gone to Bandos boss with Ring of wealth and had Shards. Once two friends got a Shard each (We did non Ls Bandos)...
  3. TDs don't drop spirit shields. However, I think the RoW works at tormented demons; I've got 3 solo claws and 1 solo shard within 116 kills there wearing a RoW. I meant Tormented wraiths sorry.
  4. Sigils, Visage and Abyssal whip i don't think is affected by Ring of wealth. However i believe Dragon boots does, as it's a common rare and that really is something i am 95% sure of. He's saying he used a berserker ring for all his whips, boots, visages, sigils... And i said that his abyssal whips, visage, sigils would not be affected even if he used Row. No i have used Ring of wealth alot there, and i have gotten alot common rares. Where my record of Rune full helms being 6 of them in 1 task! So i will add that to list. Thanks for your help. I've had 7 rune full helms there without a ROW. Who said you can't have good drop rate without a Ring of wealth? Point: Rune full helm is a common rare at Aberant spectre and even without Ring of wealth you can have good drop rate, and i believe Ring of wealth affects it. Because it's a drop that is seldom dropped.

  6. With so many rings on the list to be used, we should focus on what we think Ring of wealth works on. If we can do that, then we know when we should use Ring of wealth. And at monsters that very hard to tell if Ring of wealth works, we can just leave that alone. The thread i made at Help and Advice gave me idea of this thread. The only problem here is that we are testing luck. One of the only things i can think of that will never be certain :| I am 100% sure there is many players who share same opinion as me when i say that Ring of wealth have a very high possibility of affecting Dragon boots drop from Spiritual mage. It's items like that we will try to reveal.

  9. OK the Ring of wealth is a frustrating item. There have been many discussion topics about it, and this one here will be different type. We will try to reveal the items that have high possibility of being affected by using a Ring of wealth. We should base that on the statement of a Moderator on RSOF. I do not know who that Moderator is, i found that Quote at Sal realm forum somewhere. It's not new post i am sure of, but it's relevant to this topic. Notice last thing the moderator said/typed. EDIT: I also added a video proof. [yt]TEmCAdUi_4k[/yt] Other Quotes: OK before you post a comment, please make sure it's not about if Ring of wealth works or not but about if the Ring of wealth works on a certain item. So no posts about "Does Ring of wealth really work?", focus on what you think might have high possibility to work on based on: 1) Tests you have done 2) Experience 3) Statistics of other players. 4) Monster. Some monsters drops a certain item more than other. Something that's common rare at a boss can be very rare at a normal monster. To make this thread clean and relevant please follow this guideline before you post 1) You can post a comment where you discuss a items possibility of being affected by Ring of wealth and if you got alot of people supporting you i will add it to list. 2) You make a post where you agree/disagree to someone claiming a item is possibly affected by Ring of wealth. [hide=Ring of wealth List]Items that have high possibility to be affected by Ring of wealth: Rune full helm (Aberant spectre)[/hide] Items I think may possibly be affected by Ring of wealth: Godsword shards Dragon boots Rune boots Spirit shield (Tormented demons/Corporeal beast, not Ghostly warriors) Rune longsword/kite/halberd (Spiritual warriors, could be different from other monsters) Rune scimitar (Fire giants) So if you agree or disagree with the items i suggested, then please say so. Thanks for reading, i hope we can use our experience when it comes to drops and use it to decide what items have high possibility of being affected by Ring of wealth. 10. According to Runescape wiki (Quote): As such, it is believed, and has been confirmed by Jagex, that the visage is NOT affected by the Ring of wealth. I tried to find source of that (Not because of wiki quote) but i did not find it. However my personal experience points out that what Runescape wiki states might be true. As for Abyssal whips and D bow, i doubt Row matters in getting those. Maybe slightly, but nothing have pointed in that direction to me, not statistics by others or my own personal experience. EDIT: Quotes from Runescape offical forum that i found on Sal realm forum: Here is a list of what a Ring Of Wealth doesn't and does do. * The Ring of wealth does not increase the chance of getting a clue scroll from any monster (this has been confirmed multiple times), and it does not increase the chance of getting a more valuable item at the end of the Treasure Trail or from the Barrows minigame. * Contrary to popular belief, the Ring of Wealth does NOT affect drops while LootShare is on. The chances of getting a drop increases every time someone else in a clan gets a drop. * It DOES NOT increase the drop rate of a Draconic visage. * Ring of wealth DOES NOT increase your PvP drop. * Also, the Ring of wealth has been rumoured to actually lower the chances of getting a clue scroll. This is not true. * It is also rumoured that the ring is glitched and it gives you worse drops. Therefore, these days in runescape people will sell it to you for round 10k. * Players say that the Ring of wealth decreases your chance of getting a Defender from the Warriors' Guild. This is not true - it doesn't affect the chance of getting the drop at all. I figured I can help you out with this one, we asked this on the maxed out forums too; this is what Mod Mark replied: "Ring of wealth. This effects like likelihood of getting specific objects. It does not make every drop in the game more generous. We are currently redesigning the way the ring of wealth works. We are aware we need to continue to update its effects and be more open about its uses. We did make some improvements when we released the jewelery update (when we introduced the bracelets to the game) which effected its general use, and we need to do so again. I cant list the objects here. Heres what the postbag said a few years ago. The "second wheel" contains the rare objects. 1) If thou consider the possessions of an enemy to be like a roulette wheel, then the 'rare' items so coveted by players are located on a second roulette wheel, that will only be spun should** thou roll a specific number on the first wheel. The ring of wealth affects not the number which thou may achieve upon the first wheel, but should thou gain the precise number to allow thee access to the second, the ring will make thy chances of gaining an object on that second roulette wheel all the greater. My analogy is flawed, for death is not like roulette, but I hope that thou see the truth within this." And "Ring of Wealth. Sorry, I really cant produce the list. But no, its doesn't effect the rate of things like big trophy fish or heads. Think more along the lines of standard "rare" drops rather than specific drops for specific creatures." So, it increases the chance of getting a common rare drop when you are going to get a rare drop.
  11. That's common sense but thanks. True, you can't say just because a item is expensive what's rare. But then what criteria decides what rare you get out of the rares? Personally i will still keep on using Row at Spiritual mages/warriors, Nechryals etc.. But for Abyssal demon/Dark beasts/Metal dragons i am gonna use a Warrior ring (I): +8 Slash attack and defence - Better penetration and defending. It's not about EXP. The Warrior ring (I), just provides even better penetrating bonus that can help alot at Metal dragons, Abyssal demons, Dark beasts etc... You can never have to much penetrating force at high defence monsters.
  12. Visage drop is not caused by Row, that is stated in Knowledge base somewhere i think. And you can get Dragon plateskirt and legs even without Row, just because you wore Row does not mean it gave you that drop. You still have chance of Dragon items without it. Barrow items is not affected by Row. However i think like this: Items such as: Rune platelegs, platebody, 2h sword, battlaxe, Dragon boots, Shards (GWD), Spirit shield etc is affected by Row But items like: Visage, Dragon med, Dragon spear, Abyssal whip, Holy elixir is not. you don't get how RoW works. Jagex stated this: You have 2 wheels, one that decides what kind of drop it is (gems, herbs, money, rare etc.) and one that decides which item of one of them will be it. The RoW helps getting you a rare drop from the last wheel, not from the first wheel. So the chance to get a rare is the same without RoW but you have a higher chance to get something better from the rare items Actually i knew that. But DO you know 100% what's rare and what's not? Some rare would be Dragon boots, Godsword shards, Rune kite/halberd/longsword (Spiritual warriors), Rune boots (Nechryals)... How do i know that? Experience... But you can't tell what what other items are rare or not. It's really confusing. GWD hilts, Dragon claw, Spirit shield sigils are VERY rare...so how can you tell that Row works on those? It is stated it only works on Rare items (Items that monster seldom drops), not VERY rare items.. EDIT I have killed over 303 recorded Solo Bandos kills and i got 3 Shards and 2 Bandos boots. I also got 1 more shard non recorded. All those time i used ROW. Shards seem to be dropping alot with Row in my personal experience, and that tells me that Shards are considered "Rare". But if Shards are rare, and not the best rare...why did i not get a Bandos hilt or a Bandos tasset or a Bandos chesplate? Row does not work that greatly. I use it alot at many slayer tasks, but some it just don't work at all. So what's point using for example a Row, if it does not help you getting a Abyssal whip at Abyssal demons? Because to me it seems Row is not a big factor to Whip drops.
  13. Visage drop is not caused by Row, that is stated in Knowledge base somewhere i think. 14. I need some opinions on which ring would be best. Row or Warrior ring (I). I want to use Warrior ring (I), because quite frankly i don't think Row helps that much and i got a feeling it is the reason i got such bad drops from bosses and such.. Thank you EDIT: No Onyx ring (I), or other rings please. Stick to what i mentioned
  15. Ridiculous how some people have so insane drop rate odds, where as others have incredible bad. Congratulations, but go and DIE now. Not even got 1 Bandos hilt/Visage...Not even the cursed Dragonchainbody. And i am supposedly a boss veteran... Maybe i should go for 91 Runecrafting EDIT: I'll stick to Green dragons
  16. Can someone please post more pictures or perhaps a GIF of Zamorak godsword special? Thanks :D
  17. If i started back then, mine would be "Warrior" \
  18. ANIMATIONS I love it, they are doing excellent job. I love how they are working on that. So well done on that Jagex. PVP CHANGES This is a good step ahead better pking. Now that you loose EP if you teleport makes it better to get a kill, and you can not Tag kill a player now. So that will maybe make me go pking. Well done for tag team change. NEW SLAYER MONSTER Great amulet drop if your gonna range safespot, but otherwise Fury is best. As for camping the slayer monster and killing it? It's a waste of time. 2-3 hours at Green dragons>1.5M 100%. Camping at Slayer monster>Nothing guaranteed. It's so many players there...
  19. Runescape wiki have alot great info. But i have noticed that some people put false info there... Just make sure you keep this in mind: Don't trust things by Runescape wiki that seems unlikely unless it's over 1 week old update.
