Alpha (Gimp)|definitionhere| By SirHemen What does Alpha mean in GIMP terms? I really hope someone can answer that as i keep seeing "Alpha" quite alot: and seeing "Alpha Channel" makes you think "What...?". Dark Beasts- If you use a cannon, a beast of burden, and perhaps piety, they will fall pretty quickly, and inventory space wont be a problem. At that Slayer level, your melee stats and prayer should be very decent. They drop Dark Bows, a large amount of blue charms, and are right next to a rune rock if you have 85 mining. Fire Giants- They are never crowded in the chaos tunnels, which is multicombat. Use a familiar, either for combat or healing, and you'll rip through them. The drops are quite nice. I usually get one or two rune scimitars, and at least 100+ gold charms. Jungle Horrors- Duradel doesn't assign these, and once you hit 100 combat and 50 Slayer, you should really be using Duradel. You sure that Duradel don't give Jungle horrors? Cause i am doubting.

Yeah pixel with shading. Examples are MisterxMans (Soz if i spelled name wrong): Signatures. Of course i don't expect you or others to make such Signatures: but hopefully something like it? :) OK what details do you want It's easier if you ask, cause that way i won't go on talking about something that has no relevance for you in making of the signature :twisted: If you do decide to make one for me ;)

OK, this is something i thought of. It's not discussable but i really don't know of a other forum to post that would be best suited for it. So if this is in wrong forum, move it. This is not something that has with in-game things to do, but it has with game so if your not interested in it: then turn your cheeks other way like they say :thumbup: Dialogues You make up a funny or entertaining dialogue with a NPC in Runescape. it can be comedy or something serious but yet entertaining. It's just to live out something you can't do in real game. Example: i always dream of killing Sandwhich Lady. So i made dialogue about it. I found it a bit funny, not the best but it's nice. A dialogue can be made up like a story as well, if that helps you 8-) Issue: SirHemen wants to kill Sandwhich Lady (Will he do it?!) Sandwhich Lady: Oh please SirHemen, please don't kill me!:( SirHemen: Give me a good reason not to! O:O Sandwhich Lady: I gave you refreshments kind sir. SirHemen: You mean those lousy food that only healed 2-4 hp? Sandwhich Lady: No, i gave you fine chocolate, didn't i? SirHemen: Oh i remember now. You were the one who gave me the chocolate bar! Riddles A riddle is supposed to make a person's fill mind with mystery and challenging (Familiar runescape things+hard riddle=Success). The best riddles from my view is ones that tells as much as possible without telling the answer. Make sure you post a main hint also. Here is examples of main hints: Items, NPC, Buildings, Monsters, Skills etc Here's my riddle (Example): HINT: Items I can't wait til i become an angel, when i do i will be watching over you. Solution: Prayer cape, in other words i want 99 prayer :cry: NOTE: It's not players thoughts that is the solution rofl, but the thing in the game that the riddle is on about. As players post riddles+solve them: i will be updating this thread. I hope you all find this interesting. I for once would really love some dialogues or some cool riddles: but i mostly would like some funny dialogues. Molly Dialougue anyone?! :twisted:

I went to Waterfiends and got lagg and used ring of wealth "For the drops". I died (i was using Verac set) and prayed magic. So it's like this: Use ROW if you can (The possiblity of danger is little) Use rol if u must: you can alot by row but you can loose alot more using it too at bad places.

Sunli to the rescue. Your posts are always great :) On topic: Vle there is really no guide to it. Wear Karil (High magic defense), Pray range and kill. Bring a bunyip, and if you don't got that bring food. They drop raw sharks ( alot of them), cooked food: 1-2 of them? Anyhow the Skeletons near them drops yew logs often. I believe it's Skeleton Hero. So Yewlog+Tinder=Fire + Raw sharks=Cooked. :lol:

How do you change the eraser colour? And did you use pencil or a brush to draw the body in first tutorial? Also: do you use human anatomy closely when you draw the position of a stickman/then build it up?

Thanks and i have got GIMP. Infact i asked a question in Gallery sticky, but noone answered. So i pretty much gave up. I know GIMP is great once u learn it, but i find it so hard to learn... But i will look at stickies: and i do want to improve. As i find making art in anyway is nice. It's like music to our eyes to be honest :mrgreen: Oh and i have been to Deviant Art and i have downloaded brushes for Signatures. But i find it a bit not orginal, as you use artist made brushes. But it's nice, i just feel foney when i use them that's all. But any good guides on how to use the brushes? I can use them, but want to do in a artistic way that makes them look nice: instead of random using each brushes. If not i will try on my own :ugeek:

Np m8. Looking into your "Level" of art: i can understand it looks like i am ungrateful towards links on Gallery. But thanks for reminding me, i am also lazy. But for the record: i did spend 2 hours trying to learn Gimp function: and i only learned the Colour Balance. The interface of GIMP is so stupid. It's like this: You give a caveman a stone. The cave man is new to it, so it takes quite a while before he learns what it is good for. Example throwing. I think it would be easier to make great art: if person knows how to use the functions. So: instead of telling about it: SHOW IT I don't understand every language well, as i quite honestly have gotten my own language nearly faded out when it comes to writting part. I came to Norway as kid, and it says rest pretty much. I learned norwegian fast: i spoke norwegian. So reading english (Specially program/profession based) is not always easy to understand, not to mention vocabulary that i haven't used before. So it's better to see it: than read about it.

Here's the thing: you tell me it's a disgrace of a digital art (maybe it is), and then tell me to look at some tutorials and drop paint. Why couldn't you tell me links of tutorials instead or at least show the respect and comment the banner? I don't know if your just posting for no good reason, but couldn't you at least comment what can be improved? How hard can that be.

I once used a guide/Step-by-Step to draw Goku(Character from Dragon Ball z). I used it to draw the character, and found it pretty successful with the drawing. So my question is: Do you think it's oki to do drawings like this, if yes have you done a similiar thing to this before? P.S I know i have made two threads in Gallery. But this thread is for discussing and the other is to rate a banner i made :)

OK. I know a signature like this requires months. Don't know if anyone will try even. But i will try requesting one and hope for best ;) . I will mention alot more but i don't think i should go further as it's dreaming :cry: So i will wait for a answer first :mrgreen:
