That would be great. But doing that as low level, is kinda....making FM to easy. So that would work only if the skill requirements for Bonfires was 87 FM ;)

I am not basing my respect for a cape on how hard it is only. 1: Is it fun 2: Is it useful 3: Is it hard (rare)?? That's my criterias.

True, but what good is 99 FM.... 99 STR= Hit Max 40... +If i use 20M i can get 99 FM very fast burning Magic logs.

Also, to me using Salve amulet is much better. 8-)

I would say some capes (Fletch+FM) are not as value able as others cause they are just to easy to get. Others are hard to get, meaning you don't see them so often. So you kinda think "Nice", and that gives respect for the person who's gotten the cape. Though i respect all capes, but some more than others. Example: Fletch and FM is nowhere Near MeleCapes. Magic is better than Mele Capes Range is equal to Mele capes Summoning is better than Mele Capes and Magic+Range.

That's like saying, 'What is the point of armor if you don't train combat?'. :roll: Well those who do clues are not after Firelighters, so whats point in it if we don't want them? My idea and other peoples idea were that they should be tradeable, so that players can sell them instead of DROPPING them. And for your info the players had done decent work to get the clue done...

You two should read through thread more, if you do you will read that light sources will be used to "Light up" Certain area of where your character is at. Also The "Night" will be merely Dark. It will be mostly Blue!

How many people do actually use Miners helmet? If you ask me....the number is small. I have yet to see in "Help and Advice" about someone asking "How good is Minerhelmet?" or anything about it. But then again, all wearing low light sources: provide low brightness and area.. Wearing higher level: provides brighter and bigger light area. ;) "Night mode will be too dark! ITS TO DARK!" Let me remind you that these screenshots on this thread is posted by me, edited by other forum users to illustrate. Night mode will have a "Blue" colour, black will merely be there. AND AGAIN THESE ARE SCREENSHOTS ME AND OTHER FORUM USERS HAVE POSTED, JAGEX CAN MAKE THIS WAY BETTER THAN THESE!

Yeah i noticed that knight too, + he gives you 2 lamps also. I was gonna post, but tought "NAH" cause ive already posted a thread in GD+ i am not sure if that Knight is there for being "Tutor" or if he's there for a good reason such as being a quest start.

Merciful: Here's how the "Gear" will be. As you can see, i am using a "Candle" in "Light Slot".... I don't get how this will affect the game in anyway. The best light sources are cheap as hell (AND THEY LAST FOREVER). Also you can take the light source off and on, and if you need "Spesific" light source as you say for certain quests. Then you do that... But i still don't get what you meant dude. This will be more realistic. Also again: here is how "Night" will be or should be! So if someone gets lost in Wildy, it won't be "PITCH DARK"..... [hide=Show][/hide]

What about them??? Dude i'm totally confused.... ANY LIGHT SOURCE works in every dark areas/caves.....! so tell me, what do you mean with tempel of ikov and haunted mine quest...

That it being "Night" does not mean you can't see anything, it means it's darker with effects of "Night"...Some guy on thread said it should be "blue" not black and i agree. A blue atmosphere covering the game....with some effects. So if you go wilderness it will be easy to get around, but it will be a bit darker and gloomy. Also there are ALOT LIGHT SOURCES in Runescape. Example: Mining guild , there is torches (they are not so good but thats a example). So Clearness of game won't change much. Also, those certain quest you mention is probably "Fist of guthix" and "Lunar Diplomacy"....Sapphire Lantern and Emerald Lantern. For your info, these can also be "USED" to provide LIGHT! So there is serveal choices of light resources. Where candle is poorest. (Emerald and Sapphire lanterns by the way is best choice) and you can wear one and take it off, just like a weapon. Here's how i was thinking it will look.. But this is a screenshot i made. Jagex can make it tons better. \

I don't think much can make a lit candle go out, expect monsters and so on...and if it is that candles go out after a while then Jagex can simply make it last based on "Duration"... so let's say you got a candle : you use it and it says "Candle: 100%"...meaning it has 100% duration left. Once it hits 0, it will disappear and you gotta buy a new candle at general shop. 2nd i don't know what u mean by how it will affect quests. 3rd If you go lumby swamps a candle or watever will provide light for you....further more candles is a risk.

Well the suggestion i am gonna suggest: involves that you can wield Candle, Lantern, Lamps and so on... It will provide great light wherever you go. ;)

My new suggestion that i am gonna suggest : involves light. Theres a reason everyone has lights in their house. There's a reason the cities is filled with light when it's night... THERE also a reason Light sources are made in Runescape: AND I am gonna show you that, :

There is difference between "Perminant darkness" and "Night": Night - Full of life and there is light sources lit everywhere Darkness : Dark as hell :lol:

Caves that is dark rofl, not "THE DARK CAVES" :lol: :lol: Yes please :pray:
