Just don't use the spec. Yeah, i learned that the spec don't work. And it's no wonder. It would make a impact at B.Al.

I always like to pick people with Penance item, because it says basically this "I got experience", and i don´t care much about their level as long as they are not a level 70 player who´s gonna do healing. Full penance set, is really a good thing to have. 1) Gives penance set effect = +3 prayer bonus per 1minute (1 prayer point per 20 sec). This will be useful for Mining in living rock caverns, Fight cave and other situations where you need prayer and u can wait for it to restore. I am currently working on 89-90 Mining.

Actually i never knew about game ticks. Is this something for Runescape or all games in general? If Runescape, from where have ya read about the game ticks?

Your right. I focused so much on the high defence of a monster, that i forgot the weakness.

Rapier has 6 bars in speed (same as whip), and Longsword has 5 bars. So i took 100 divided by 6 and got 16%, so Rapier is only 16% faster, not 25%. Did i calculate it wrong? And yes longsword can hit 0 damage too, but wouldn't +13 stab attack bonus and +19 strength bonus make up for the -16% speed?

Chaotic longsword has higher strength and attack bonus than Chaotic rapier. So my question is, does the speed of Rapier really matter that much? Because Rapier lands NEARLY two hits before Longsword lands one, and it can hit 0. Where as Chaotic longsword has higher bonuses, so maybe it would be better or as good to use as Rapier for stab cases? Please only stick to this situation: High defence monster with weakness to stab. Example Metal dragons. Without slayer helmet I am well aware Chaotic rapier is great for slayer and weak defence monsters.

It sounds like you used Lalala's method. My method is using sound to hear when Jad uses magic attack, and using your eyes for his ranged attack. Are you refering to the beginning, where you start the fight with ranged prayer? If so that's not a method, and it's also not mine if it was. :thumbup: Grats:) :shades:

I have flamed, but i have done it to people who flamed me. But i try not to flame. But it's hard not to. You can report the post, but Forum Tif Admins aren't to strict on people. So a question comes to my mind "Why should i then bother with the report button?"

His ranged isn't instant. If i have magic prayer on and SEE that he is ranging (stomps ground), i change prayer easily. But YES you should prayer range in beginning because you can't see Jad yet.

Chaotic rapier>Zamorakian spear>Korasi'sword>Abyssal whip Being offensive means more than prayer bonus or defence, so the +4 prayer bonus can't compare to faster kills. Remember to use Ardougne cloak (for stab accuracy) and Onyx ring (I) if you have that too. If you dont have Onyx ring (I) i suggest getting a fighter hat at Penance for the +5 stab accuracy. Turmoil/Piety or Strength+Attack prayer is a must. If your low level i suggest using a crossbow and emerald bolts (enchanted) for the poison.

I find sound method best. You can sense Jad's ranged attack well visually, but that don't go for his magic attack. But his magic attack makes a clear sound, so all you need to do is regonize that and change to magic when you hear it.

That's what I heard pretty consistently. (I was asking about getting a 1h prom bind.) But when I asked why, I always got ad hominem nonsense. What's the more objective reason why battleaxe is a better bind than rapier? (Also, throwing longsword into the comparison.) Welcome to Tip.it. Where there are some jerks who will always be subjective when they reply, and when someone are skeptic to it, hoping for a objective comparision of item A and B, they will critizcize you for it. When i first learned that one could customize your ring of kinship, i was quick on chosing a custom. I choose Berserker. Little did i know there was "Tactician" which made you hit more in accurate stance. This sounds like a perfect custom to go along with Primal rapier. So would this make Primal rapier better than Primal battleaxe?

The dungeoneering rewards are many. I am saying one should spend tokens to get tier 10 in gatherer and tier 10 in another thing. And then use them until you have gatherer quite a big amount of tokens, and then reset when you have. That way you can ensure you will get alot of the rewards, and still have the benefit of the ring. Example A: You use tokens on ring, but as soon as your close to 200K tokens with ur rings tier for a Rapier, you reset. That is bad. Example B: You use tokens on ring, but keep getting quite a amount of tokens enough for rewards, and then you reset.

Also, one last thing I forgot. Having the right binds will greatly increase your chances of getting into a good team. Weapon-wise, you should have a Promethium 2h and a decent tier on a berserker ring. Once you get access to floor 45 and up, you can bind a primal battleaxe if you find yourself keying often, but else use a t10 2h. Armour-wise, you should bind a shadow silk hood if you ever get one as a drop. I don't want to get into the debate about whether it's useful as a bind - it is, and it is also required for most good teams. One good thing about solo floors is that if you get a hood drop it's all yours. Until you get one, use a promethium platebody, but be aware that if you're in a team where everyone else has a hood, you'll be taking the most damage. If you ever have a question or anything, I've picked up most of the tricks along the way to 99 dungeoneering. As much as I hate to do cross-site advertising, a guide on RSC (http://forums.zybez.net/forum/317-general-guides/) is more up to date and easier to read than sseli's guide here (though both are excellent). I already know what to do. I want Gatherer 10 tier and 10 Berserker, Primal Battle axe and hood.

No, i am not thinking that way. But you could get 3 Chaotic weapons before reseting, which kinda is nice, because you get the beenfits. Ah I never even thought of it that way. I think I might do that too. :P Yeah, which is why i said "Nice of Jagex" :thumbup:
