This. I swear, if i ever become a player who earn GP on other's misery i would make loads accounts and use auto chat and spam out a speculations. Example I could buy over 200 Dragon halberd "OMFG Dragon halberd is going up, OMFG OMG!!" Few players (around 20-50) fall for the bait, it makes slight increase in price...and more players will believe that Dragon halberd is actually going up.

A Chewy bone drop rate is around 1/30. I think Ring of wealth will help you get one sooner, as Chewy bone gives a chance of Dragon full helm. So the item Chewy bone should be considered a "common rare" (1 in 30 kills are common despite the hardness of killing Mithrils). And Jagex have said that Ring of wealth helps in getting more common rares. P.S Very nice avatar, it looks great.

Godswords are swords that the four bosses in the dungeon called "God Wars Dungeon" (GWD) drop parts of. There are Godsword shard 1,2 and 3 = Together they become "Godsword blade". They are not so expensive and aren't rare to get as drop. Godsword hilt, is very rare and costs alot. There are four gods in the war in the dungeon with each avatar boss representing them (Armadyl, Saradomin, Zamorak and Bandos). Bosses: Bandos boss called "General Graardor" (a Ourg) Saradomin boss is called "Commander Zilyana" (an angel) Zamorak boss is called Kri'l Tusorath (Crazy big lesser demon, very cool sight) Armadyl boss is called Kr'eera (a big bird, it's a male) Godsword is something lower levels bug higher levels about by asking. They see a high level and automatically think they owe a Godsword. Godswords are not "Godly", but they are good. Godsword rating from 1-10: 6 Abyssal whip rating from 1-10: 7

Well like i have said, Jagex does not have to advertise in a way that makes them look bad, but they do. They mention free game, with 24 diverse skills and 150+ quests, and make it look as if it's part of F2P. I take that as a lie, because you can easily advertise for Runescape and still have good success without twisting what is actually free. And if F2P truly is so fun for majority, there would be few players asking for update now... But you see players constantly asking for updates. And then you can discuss if F2P truly deservs the award of being most popular free game. And just for facts, i am P2P...

No, i was just speaking for myself and all other monster hunters. How is F2P fun (and deserv the award of being the most POPULAR free game) when there is no boss for monster hunters? F2P is nice for skillers, and PK-ers, but honestly as long as there is not a boss (a decent one), Jagex does not deserv the award of F2P being the most POPULAR. But if they deserv it or not, is another discussion so i will leave that be.

I'm sorry, did we suddenly start talking about a different game? How can the fact that F2P does not have a "boss" monster make it any less viable? This is RuneScape, not WoW or MapleStory. A large portion of the RS population does more than simply fight monsters, and a large portion of that prefer to train non-combat skills. Did i say that everyone was a monster hunter? No i did not. But there is more than just skillers in F2P.

The statement(s) they have made is not all right. 15,000 hours of free game play - that's correct, and i have not said it's not. But then there is 24 diverse skills, 150+ quests and so on, that gives the idea that all of these things are within F2P...which it is not. And also it says Runescape is the most popular free game, which i highly doubt it is. There is tons of other great games out there, with better graphics that are completely FREE. But why do we play Runescape? For P2P - the expansion pack! In other words - it's not the "Free" game play that's popular, it's the P2P. F2P might have been the game in the beginning, but P2P is now the game.
