During the day they post on the thread, trying to convince others to vote off the person they want gone. The night turn could get boring for those without a special role, but this is meant to be a game that only takes 20 minutes a day to play; of course you can spend more time if you want. A day turn might go like this P1 - I am the detective, and I found out p2 is a Mafioso. Vote him off P2 - P1 is lying, I am the doctor. P3 - P5 is being suspicious, we should vote for her etc... All you do to vote is write at the bottom of your post the person's name you are voting for in Orange (#FF8C00) . If someone changes your mind, just post again; ill use your latest vote when I Talley everything up at the end of the day. Don't run for mayor If you aren't very active, as ill need to pm you to decide if there is a tie.

Fans picking up radio signals?
No way, if you talk into a fan your voice sounds like a robot. Now that's cool.

This game is a take on the party game, Mafioso. For those who have never played, there is a group of 10 - 15 people. Of those people, 3-4 are Mafiosos, 1-2 are doctors, one is a detective, and one is the mayor. There is also the host, (me) who narrates the story The rest of the players are civilians. The game is played in days, with each day consisting of a night turn and a day turn. During the night, the Mafiosos decide on someone to murder. The doctors then get to pick a person to protect, and the detective picks someone who they want to know the identity of. During the Day turn, we first find out who was murdered during the night (except on the first turn). Players then vote on who they want to kick out of the town, with the objective of getting rid of the Mafiosos. The twist is that no one knows who is who, with the exception of the Mafiosos knowing each other. Even the doctors and detective are not known for certain by the other players, so Mafiosos often pretend to be them, convincing citizens to vote each other off. The other twist is the Mayor role. No one starts as a Mayor, they are elected onto the role by everyone during the first turn. The mayor gets to break ties during the vote to kick out. If a mafioso gets into the mayor's position, it can become increasingly hard to get rid of them. /walloftext All you do to vote is write at the bottom of your post the person's name you are voting for in Orange Simplified, here is how the game plays out [hide]Day 1, daytime - Mayor elected Day 1, night Mafiosos decide who to kill Doctor(s) decide who to save Detective investigates someone Day 2, daytime First victim revealed (unless doctor saves them) Debate and vote to kick out of town etc... [/hide] The game ends when either all citizens are dead, or all Mafiosos are dead. One turn = one day, so one game day = two IRL days. Nighttime activity takes place by the special players PMing me, while the daytime plays out on the thread. Any interest? It'll be fun, but we need atleast 10 players. Napoleonic Hegemony
I meant foreign troops. I don't want to be bordering another country.

Napoleonic Hegemony
Update is every 4 IRL days, right? Spain advises other nations to stay out of this conflict. Any troops that enter the provinces bordering Spain will be killed.

It was simply an offer. While I won't betray you, there is only so much I can do to help. Britain had a large army stationed in the UK because they feared they would be attacked there. Next time that army will likely come straight for you. I just ask you to consider the offer.

ICU, I propose a peace offer that all their of us should find suitable. The treaty of Mississippi Great Britain surrenders the following provinces shown on the map. Great Britain agrees to stop colonization south of the 49th parallel. Great Britain agrees to sell all provinces marked with a blue dot to USA over the next 20 years, for a price of 1 Million Ducats each. USA, Spain and Great Britain shall not fight each other in a war for the next 20 years. Spain shall release three provinces as an Indian Free State.

My third world finally worked out. My fort right now is pretty awful because my miners go for a drink after every 10 squares they dig, but I got a pretty good location.

So you don't want to settle for peace?

Nice writeup dusty. Although Ill admit you had me scared after the first part. A new colonial propaganda campaign has been launch in Spain, encouraging Spaniards to move to the colonies and start a new life. Infrastructure projects have been launched in the colonies, and the port city of Caracas has been made the nation's 'Second Capitol' , where officials will meet to pass laws affecting the colonies and lobby their interests to The King, who will visit once every 2 years.

I may just get that game, as right now all my wii is doing is sucking 18 precious watts an hour. Anyone know if you can still get GC controllers at Gamestop?

Dwarf fortress
This game doesn't like me... The first world I generated was a chain of islands, most of which were evil, haunted or had no vegetation. I tried for another world, which is moving along at a pretty 2 years a minute :(. At this rate, I may just get to play when they release the next version :wall:

Spain condemns the burning of the pope by the people of Prussia. While we may have different interpretations of Gods will, we all believe in the same God, and burning a fellow christian is surely a sin.

Just Got The HTC Desire - Any Questions?
I want the new droid when it comes to Canada. Iphone plans here are [bleep]ing ridiculous, unless you plan to use wi-fi or keep 3g off, apps with ads and openfient will blow through your data, meaning you need to spend over $100 just to have a decent plan.

Still watching the tutorial videos. The game is actually not as confusing as it seems.

My First Build - Ordering Tomorrow
I like it. I might go with SLI, which would put the price closer to $1600. What PSU would you go with for that? And no, I don't plan on overclocking, at least not to start. Ive never worked with windows 7 before, would you recommend Home Premium of Professional?
