My school improv team placed first overall in the regional semi-finals, which means we go on to the finals. If we win finals, we get to go to Ottawa and perform in the national competition. I'm super excited right now, last year we missed going to finals by one place so this meant a lot to me.
  2. I'll keep you guys in mind if I need any ores or bars, great to see shops coming back like the old days.

I'm not really a fan of the Harlem Shake, but the scale of that was impressive.
  4. I wouldn't want f2p players in 07 tbh. It opens the door to a massive flood of bots. Plus I doubt it would pull in any new subscribers like f2p in the regular game does.
  5. I stopped fletching as much, it was getting impossible to compete with people who can apparently play 24/7 and have an unlimited supply of logs. I've been doing a little bit of everything the last couple days, got a bunch of basic quests done. Knights Sword got me from 15 - 31 smithing alone. Now that I managed to get an addy hatchet, I'll probably get back into woodcutting and fletching. Stats:
  6. Looks mediocre. My 2.5 year old PC outspecs it.

In Winnipeg some of our new garbage trucks use natural gas.
  8. Still haven't found one, offer is still up
  9. Managed to do it by getting 15hp and 10 def first. Fire giants are already being trained on just 32h in, witnessed someone get a rune scim! I'm heading back to Seers to cut/fletch some maples now. Still looking to buy a mith+ axe.
  10. Decided to keep on with fletching, and fought all the way up to rank 54. Once I ran out of willows I decided to try fishing contest and then waterfall, but I died trying to cross the mountian. I'll give it another shot tomorrow. Stats:
  11. Looking to buy one. Make me an offer, and I'll add you.
  12. After dabbling in combat, I decided I'd rather do some fletching. My goal is to get within the top 100, and I'm fairly close, but I need to take an hour off which will put me behind. I've been doing oak longs in Draynor, after 6gp oaks stopped showing up in the Varrok general store. Willows are too slow for now, although I might go kill chickens and make headless arrows with the shafts I made earlier. If anyone has a black, mithril or addy axe I'd love to buy it. Stats:
  13. It'd be amazing if runetrack/runetracker enabled tracking for 07 accounts. Stat sigs would be nice too.
  14. Hi, I'm Spork, but you probably know that from the title. This blog is going to be dedicated to my progress in 07scape. I haven't quite decided on what I plan to do yet, short of training combat and rushing the stronghold of security. Link to my 13scape blog, which will be dead for a while
  15. I beg to differ I have 10 def ignored too. Who was he?
  16. Assuming Jagex actually made those targets based on logical models of profitability, does it make sense for them to only offer the 250k level of service if 480k signatures are achieved?
  17. I'm contemplating doubling down on the nostalgia factor by plugging in my old Dell and making a youtube playlist of crappy pop music from 2006/2007.
  18. Only updates I'd like are anti-bot mechanics and maybe some minor convenience updates like better pathfinding and run toggle.
  19. That's some flawed logic. I voted' date=' but in addition to voting from my desktop I've also checked in a couple times on my phone, meaning I've been counted for one vote and three or four unique ip addresses. Still, I'm pumped that it's going to be out this soon. Brb disregarding any rl obligations for the next month. I think it'd fit in with the other blogs fine. A trading forum would be nice, but for all purposes the marketplace is dead already so we could just use that.
  20. So does anyone know what Suomi said in the first place to get the mute? I could understand the anger on his part if it was undeserved.
  21. They've also started advertising it on the lobby homepage. That way people who never go to the main site can see it.
  22. I somewhat expect Jagex to come out with an announcement like that this week. Very few people will be willing to pay over $20 a month to access a game from 2007. First, to PoorLepRecon's point, why wouldn't you want to pony up the cash? When you voted in the poll, you knew going into it that, if the numbers couldn't be reached, then you'd have 2007scape but at a high premium. It's like saying you want the nostalgia filter, but don't want to pay the costs of bringing it back - one who thinks like that can't have their cake and eat it too. Next, to ItsASpork's point, why would Jagex reverse their stance on this? They knew what they were saying when the poll came out, and my gut feeling says that they wanted to see just how vocal this group of players - that claimed that they'd want 2007scape - were, just to see if the numbers they were quoting off could really materialize. Just because it's slowing down/isn't projected to reach whatever mark doesn't mean one can start looking for outs. Even if the number misses the [self] desired mark by 1 person before 1 March, Jagex should stick by their plan and execute - whether this means an additional $5 on members, or $20 for the whole kit'n'caboodle. Because it makes no sense to trash what could be a fun and potentially profitable project because of some arbitrary targets. And to your point aimed at lep, there is no way I could justify spending $20 a month on any game, especially not a 5.5 year old one. I'll happily play if it's free, and might consider it if it was $5 a month, but an additional $15 is outrageous.
