You can still buy and own an automatic weapon manufactured before 1986, but it requires a lot of paperwork and a $200 tax stamp, and the guns sell for over $10,000 because of how rare they are. IIRC some states outright ban them too. I should add, assault weapon ≠ assault rifle. An assault rifle is a select fire rifle that shoots an intermediate round and has a detachable magazine. An 'assault weapon' is a semi-automatic rifle that looks scary. EDIT: After a quick bit of research, it appears you can buy a MAC-10 for about $4,000.

I went from a 32 to a 59 in English in the span of 3 days. All I need is a 60 to get into University.

If everything goes well I should now be passing English. Now I need to figure out how well I need to do on the exam to get the 60% I need to apply for University.

Really? COD 4 had the only plausible story out of all the modern CODs. Black ops 1 had the weird numbers thing, and the incorrect time period guns; MW2 had the whole invasion - EMP bullshit; and MW3s campaign was just awful. This one was decent, I liked the hidden weapons and the different endings.

I continue to be successful in the art of skipping classes without getting kicked out. I'm going to start looking for a job next week, need to start saving for a car. Luckily I have till February before I have to apply for University. I'm pretty much guaranteed to get in though, all I need is a 75% average over 5 Grade 12 courses and a min. of 60% in English.

Mine's going pretty well. I'm not kicked out of a class I skipped 3 times last week, and I got to make up a test today without having to bullshit an excuse for being absent.

But I'm still really really excited, it pays extremely well (over 35/hr), and they hire 85% of the interns as full time workers. I'm pretty much set for the rest of my life I think! I've been to Fargo, it's not that bad. Whole city is like one big sprawling suburb though. Ouch, where are you that min. wage is less than $7/h?
