Depends, if we're talking 1oz shots of 35% rum, I could easily see a bigger guy surviving that. I've done a whole mickey (13oz) in under an hour without passing out or vomiting, and that was 46% rum. It was actually a really strange experience, I felt super drunk for about an hour and a half, then I sobered up and couldn't get drunk again for the rest of the night.

Nyoshut, you ever read More Guns, Less Crime by John Lott? It'd pretty much just be confirming your biases at this point but for me it removed any skepticism I had about legalized carry.
