I'm not trying to draw similarities between the severity of the law broken; the point is, is that they are both laws, and breaking one law forfeits your so-called "freedoms", regardless of what law is being broken. Arguing that it is a dumb law, that's fine. Arguing that the cop was dumb for arresting them; that's illogical. neocrosby's post had one sentence about the cop. His post criticized the law, not the specific cop who enforced it. You're the only one in this thread getting hung up about the law being broken instead of questioning the purpose of the law itself.
