  6. How important do you think butts are to relationships? Are we objectifying women by placing emphasis on their booty? And, in reverse, is it unfair for women to judge men by the size of their butts? I personally think that our value of the booty is a biological reaction. However, some may argue that it is more psychological than physical.
  7. I also like the nice butt.
  8. You finally got something right.
  9. You're missing the point. I'm not trying to draw similarities between the severity of the law broken; the point is, is that they are both laws, and breaking one law forfeits your so-called "freedoms", regardless of what law is being broken. Arguing that it is a dumb law, that's fine. Arguing that the cop was dumb for arresting them; that's illogical. neocrosby's post had one sentence about the cop. His post criticized the law, not the specific cop who enforced it. You're the only one in this thread getting hung up about the law being broken instead of questioning the purpose of the law itself.
  10. Since when does defiling a flag constitute as "speech". Your right to free speech ends when you use it to break another law. The person in question here broke a Law; in doing so they forfeit their right to free speech. Why do you think people can sue for libel and slander? Because free speech doesn't mean you can say and express whatever the hell you want; there are conditions attached. You are angry at a police officer for upholding a law; I don't see how you can expect the officer to uphold two contradictory laws (free speech and defiling a flag) simultaneously; it's impossible. It's freedom of expression, and their rights were violated. You don't understand; freedom of expression only holds as long as other laws aren't being broken. I can't say "oh, don't arrest me for murder officer, it's just how I express my views!", because I am breaking another law; do not murder. Just like you cannot say "don't arrest me for defiling a flag officer, it's just how I express my views!", because I am breaking another law. Murder is harmful but flag burning is not. Why is that so difficult for you to understand?

He's not angry at the police officer. He's angry at the law against flag burning. Like the immigration debate and the slavery debate, this is not about whether people are breaking the law, but whether the law should exist at all.
