Converting .rar to mp3?
First you have to decompress the file (.rar is a type of file for compression, you usually can't do things with files in that state). A good decompress-er is Winrar. Here's the download page for the trial version which has full functionality for 40 days: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm. Just pick which version works for your computer. After that they might be in .FLAC format, and if that is the case you'll need to do some converting. They might also be in .mp3 though so you might get lucky

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
I know right. Well I bought 2k MSP, bought GTA San Andreas for 1200, then went to change my name and it didn't even dock me any points for it for some reason, pretty cool, now I don't need to buy more for the map pack next week. The pack is 1200 :/

I played this so much over the weekend. I have all 16 badges already and a level 56 gengar. He would be in the low 60s if I hadn't been using EXP share on Dragonair who is level 45 now. I'm taking a break for today and then I'm going to try to make a good team to take on Red. For those of you who don't know, Red is a beast. Much stronger than the original gold.

So is there a ROM out there or is this for flash cards? The game is a ROM in itself because the card is just a fancy emulator, but I'm not sure if the game works with a computer emulator for now.

This is not my luck. Whos luck did I steal?
Nice, my first and second bows were back to back. It's a great feeling :) Double or Triple boots (I've had both) are nice but for some reason bows felt better lol.

I'm borrowing my friend's acekard to try out the leaked version of HG and it's the full English version, like the entire American release one not a crappy port. It's great so far and I'm definitely getting it. I figured out how to get it to work on there too, you just have to update to Akaio 1.6 firmware, after that there's no crash.

Building a computer
What do you want this computer for? Mainly downloading things, surfing the internet with some gaming in it. If you said gaming what resolution monitor do you want to play on and which games are you mainly looking at? I'm not sure about these two yet, but nothing too extreme. I mainly play on my xbox because all of my friends play there. Whats your budget and country? Nothing over $1000 and USA. How much computer knowledge do you have? Not an extreme amount, but I'd say above average. Have you ever looked inside the case of a PC? Yes, I tried to fix my computer before but the HDD had failed so we just took it in. Have you ever installed an operating system? No, it came pre-installed on our last computer.

The special abilities are also in the multiplayer, and you can have one at a time. Theres sprint, one where you don't show up on the radar, and the jetpack for the spartans. For the elites theres the jumping thing and one other that is known so far that I can't remember

What type of Mobo would you recommend? I'm looking for something that isn't super expensive either, hopefully between 100-200 dollars. If you gave me a good one to work off of I could probably find most of the other stuff.

Building a computer
I've found some decent parts that are cheap-ish and compatible with each other (I hope) but I'm not sure where to go from here. I have these so far: Mobo: ASUS P5N-VM WS/TW100-E5 LGA 775 NVIDIA Integrated Quadro FX470 uATX Intel Core2 processors / Pentium D / Pentium 4 /Celeron CPU / 45nm, Core 2 Extreme/Core 2 Quad/Core 2 Duo Server Motherboard - OEM [hide=Specs.] Model Brand ASUS Model P5N-VM WS/TW100-E5 Supported CPU CPU Socket Type LGA 775 CPU Type Intel Core2 processors / Pentium D / Pentium 4 /Celeron CPU / 45nm, Core 2 Extreme/Core 2 Quad/Core 2 Duo System Bus 1333/1066MHz Supported CPU Technologies Hyper-Threading Technology Chipsets North Bridge NVIDIA Integrated Quadro FX470 Memory Number of DDR2 Slots 4 x 240Pin DDR2 Standard DDR2 800 Maximum Memory Supported 8GB Channel Supported Dual Channel Expansion Slots PCI Express 2.0 x 16 1 PCI Express x1 1 x PCIe x 1 (x4 Slot) for optional SAS card 1 x PCIe x 1 (x1 Slot) PCI Slots 1 Storage Devices SATA 6 x SATA 3.0Gb/s SATA RAID 0/1/5 Onboard Video Onboard Video Chipset Integrated Quadro FX470 Onboard Audio Audio Chipset ADI AD1988B Audio Channels 8 Channels Onboard LAN LAN Chipset Realtek 8111C LAN Speed 10/100/1000Mbps Second LAN Chipset Realtek 8111C Second LAN Speed 10/100/1000Mbps Max LAN Speed Dual 10/100/1000Mbps Rear Panel Ports PS/2 1 Video Ports 2 x DVI-I port ( Upper: DVI-I(single link, 1920 x 1200), Lower: DVI(dual link, 2560 x 1600) ) USB 1.1/2.0 6 x USB 2.0 Physical Spec Form Factor uATX Dimensions 9.6" x 9.6" Manufacturer Warranty Parts 3 years limited Labor 3 years limited[/hide] Processor: Intel Pentium E5300 Wolfdale 2.6GHz 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor - Retail [hide=Specs.]Intel Pentium E5300 Wolfdale 2.6GHz 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor - Retail [/hide] RAM:Crucial 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model CT2KIT25664AA800 - Retail [hide=Specs.]Model Brand Crucial Model CT2KIT25664AA800 Type 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Tech Spec Capacity 4GB (2 x 2GB) Speed DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Cas Latency 6 Voltage 1.8V ECC No Buffered/Registered Unbuffered Multi-channel Kit Dual Channel Kit Heat Spreader No Manufacturer Warranty Parts Lifetime limited Labor Lifetime limited[/hide] Case: AZZA Helios 910 Black Japanese SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail [hide=Specs.]Model Brand AZZA Model Helios 910 Spec Type ATX Mid Tower Color Black Case Material Japanese SECC Steel With Power Supply No Power Supply Mounted Bottom Motherboard Compatibility ATX, E-ATX, Micro ATX With Side Panel Window No Expansion External 5.25" Drive Bays 9 External 3.5" Drive Bays 1 Internal 3.5" Drive Bays 4 Expansion Slots 7 Front Ports Front Ports USB / Audio Cooling System 80mm Fans No 120mm Fans 1 x 120mm fan in rear 140mm Fans 1 x 140mm blue LED silent fan (19DBA) in front 1 x 140mm black fan on the top 230mm Fans 1 x 230mm blue LED silent fan (24DBA) on side Physical Spec Dimensions(L x W x H) 18.10" x 8.10" x 19.70" Features Features Cable Management Easy Assembling USB & Audio Ports Located on Top Manufacturer Warranty Parts 1 year limited Labor 1 year limited[/hide] HDD HITACHI Deskstar 7K1000.C HDS721032CLA362 (0A39264) 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive [hide=Specs.]Model Brand HITACHI Series Deskstar 7K1000.C Model HDS721032CLA362 (0A39264) Packaging Bare Drive Performance Interface SATA 3.0Gb/s Capacity 320GB RPM 7200 RPM Cache 16MB Physical Spec Form Factor 3.5" Features Features Halogen-free design for eco-friendly footprint Built on award-winning proven design Manufacturer Warranty Parts 3 years limited Labor 3 years limited[/hide] So I just have a few questions after that. Will any CD/Optical drive work as long as they connect? I'm looking for a decent one that isn't too expensive, but if they have to be a certain type I'm looking for one that can do certain things. Will any power supply connect or does it have to be a certain type? Do I need to get any other video/graphics cards? The motherboard has built in ones but if they aren't that good I'd rather get a good one. Besides all of these, what else do I need for a good computer? If any of you have any suggestions that aren't too expensive I'd love to hear them. I know I need a mouse/keyboard/monitor but I can get those myself.

Least Favorite Midwest State
Hah. Wasn't Pennsylvania named after like John Penn or something? I'm really stretching my brain to social studies last year.. EDIT: Nevermind, it was named after William Penn. I was close though ;)

Least Favorite Midwest State
I've never actually been to the midwest, the closest I've been was Wyoming and it was really nice there so idk. I'm going to have to disagree with you all though and say Washington is the best state, closest port to Asia in the USA, not too hot and we didn't get ANY snow out of the passes this winter (even though I love snow I'd hate to get how much the east coast got this year).

Even though I love Garrus and will never replace him he always dies too fast in both games. I always use Tali and Garrus no matter the situation in both games; yet they both seem to die fast. Garrus always rushes the enemy and it never works until he gets a little stronger

Is this a good computer?
Wow thanks for telling me about the battery. I just looked it up and it said a maximum of 2.7 hours... The warranty also is a little annoying so I'll have to reconsider this thing.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
I went crazily well I think two days ago. I was on Terminal with a normal ACR no attachments; I get a harrier maybe two minutes in, still haven't died yet; I call it in and it gets me three kills and then I get a fourth for the chopper gunner. I go back to our spawn with the metal detectors and call in my chopper gunner, I get to a 31 kill streak and I have my nuke now. About three of their teammates come to me and I get them all and then I move to the other side of our spawn for another two that come around the corner. One of them finally gets the better of my and I die like 36 and 1. I mess around for a while waiting to call in my nuke further in to the game. More people start rushing me and I get a SECOND chopper gunner. I hide, call it in get like four kills then it gets shot down. I get a couple more people and die at maybe a 21 kill streak. Finally I kill like 3 more people and call in my nuke to be 57 - 11 - 3. My game right after that one on Favela my friend gets a chopper gunner in like a minute it seemed like so he calls it in and gets shot down after like four kills. He says he died at a 24 kill streak. I get my chopper gunner at like a minute later, call it in and use it for the whole time and get another 35 kill streak. I have my nuke but he's begging me not to call it in because he's doing so well. I don't for a little while thinking I'll call it in in maybe two minutes. I then start to hear the count down and it turns out my friend didn't die, he just decided to lie to me about not getting a nuke so he could call his in first. These were both on Ground War Domination. My other friend wanted to leave though and I did horribly the rest of the night because we were playing demolition.

Where would I find out what type of processor I have? Just look inside for a label or something?

Computer won't boot
When I start my computer it loads Windows (the flag and bar thing with the option to go to setup) After that it asks me how I want to start the computer, Safe Mode, Safe Mode with the other two options Last Good Config. and Normal. If I choose last good configuration or start normally it goes to a blue screen and says "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps: Check to be sure you have the adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates. Try changing video adapters. Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options and then select Safe Mode. Technical information: *** STOP: 0x0000007E (0xC000001D, 0x80537008, 0xF8A503B8, 0xF8A500B4)" If I choose any type of Safe Mode it starts to load the drivers but then freezes at "multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\windows\system32\drivers\mup.sys" I've looked for a few days now and nothing works, we're taking it in tomorrow but I was seeing as a last ditch resort if I could find a fix for it, and I finally remembered about this forum sub-section :) Any tips would be very appreciated, and I'm willing to open the computer to find something. I already tried taking out the battery on the Motherboard to reset the CMOS and it didn't do anything productive.
