Today I woke up late and got to Spanish with less than 30 minutes left in the class (our periods are 90 minutes long) and I still managed to finish my test that we had today. Then in English we watched The Truman Show (most of it) and my teacher was dressed up as Tim Lincecum for Halloween because he went to our school. My friend also found his old Spanish book so he stole it lol. Then in Biology my teacher gave us a [cabbage]load of candy. Oh, I also found out I got an 89% on my Precal test, which is good, so my day was pretty good overall.

So, Black Ops is on TPB. If this is real, there will be leaked videos everywhere starting in about 5-10 hours. There is a real chance though that it's fake, but that will also be confirmed in a few hours.

I'll try to explain it more in depth. JTagged xboxes (modified consoles that can run unauthorized code which enabled them to change the amount of experience people receive online) can't update the dashboard. Most still have the one before avatars, because if they update it, it blows a fuse on the motherboard which breaks the modification. They then need someone to change the update so it doesn't destroy an essential part of the console, so dashboard updates keep them offline for a while just because they can't go online without updating. When the main team that enables them to go online releases their version of the update, the modified consoles can swarm online and make the modified lobbies. However, the team that makes the modified update for the one on November 4th is restricting the online capabilities which will keep the modded consoles offline, and they are doing this because they don't want to destroy Black Ops like they did with MW2. This then means they won't be able to spread infections, make modified lobbies, or just generally change the game. On the PS3 however, the modding community is just starting. They do however have the same types of lobbies and infections that the xbox has. You also can modify any console, while on the xbox you can only modify ones that haven't been updated for over a year now, and even then it's easy to break them. The PS3 hackers also might have the key to hacking any future Sony OS, because of a disgruntled former employee. So overall, the PS3 will most likely have a lot of modders and the xbox will have few to none come November 4th. If it's still unclear just pm me or something

Called it? Meanwhile on ps3.... Don't get all high and mighty with your PS3. The only reason why the PS3 has barely any hackers is because there has been little time for the hacking community there to develop (barely over a month now) and yet the Xbox has had over 3 years of being modified. The PS3 hackers are also getting increasingly more advanced, and there are rumors going around now that the biggest PS3 jailbreaking team just got the Master Key for every past and future PS3 OS, which if true essentially means that Sony won't ever be able to stop them. Oh, PS3s are also insanely easier to jailbreak and run unsigned code, for example I decided to jailbreak my PS3 to test it (you don't need to open it and it's fully reversible) and it took me less than five minutes to get to the position of being able to host a 10th Prestige Lobby. It's starting to look like the PS3 will have the wave of modders for Black Ops, because once the modified PS3s are able to get online, nothing can stop them really. At least the people that develop the programs to get JTags online aren't giving them online capabilities. Sorry if I rambled.

Too bad those hacks won't do [cabbage]. The makers of Freeboot (what allows the JTagged xboxes to get online without updating the dashboard) are purposely making the new version for the dashboard update in November with no online capabilities. So unless someone changes that themselves, they won't be online for a while.

I've been looking this stuff up for a while now, and I think Black Ops won't have it for at least a little while. This is because a new dashboard update is coming out on November 4th, so the JTags won't be able to even get online until they can make a fake version of that. Even then, the developers of the part that lets them get online might make it so they can't have a hacked copy, because they realized that they ruined MW2; although they might not be that nice.

No, they're excited about this planet because it solves the two problems you just stated. Gravity - Humans can live reasonably in a 3g environment; our bodies can take it. The temperatures also aren't extreme, because it's in the so called "Goldilocks Zone" where temperatures are just right so water doesn't freeze on the planet's surface, and where it doesn't evaporate off of the surface right away. If this planet was in our solar system instead of Mars we sure as hell could live there almost right away, just when we got the funds up and transportation down. It's also not about the fact that we could live there, it's about the possibilities and most likely inevitability that life exists elsewhere. Also to the title, it's 3x the size of Earth, just the conditions are very similar.

I completely agree with Mass Effect (my favorite game that I've played so far), in the second one I purposely talked to every single person I could just because it was actually believable. Also on my Luigi's Mansion save from 2001 (which I still have) I'm at the King Boo fight (after you replay it to get more mooniez) and I've been there since 2002, but I just don't feel like finishing it lol. Paper Mario was also in my top few Mario games, just because it was so fun.

It's not glitched, just most people aren't observant enough to figure out that where the elite is almost all the time is too high for the achievement and you have to wait for him to walk away a little bit.

You can buy MkVI armor? :blink: And what part of the campaign? :twss: Anyway, I'm trying to make my guy look like Jorge. Just need his grenadier chestplate and his left shoulder (haven't unlocked it yet), and I should be good. If only I could make my guy a bit bigger <_< I believe you can buy Mark V (wasn't that what he wore in Halo CE?) and the campaign thing only works for like an hour and then it slows down to like 1/3 of Gruntpocalypse. You still get like 60k credits though. All you do is go on Oni Swordbase on Heroic with the skulls with these effects (I can't remember the names): No radar, constant grenades, less ammo dropped, no shields recharging. Then you start the mission and sprint to the part with the target locater and move around in that base until you get a check point. After you get the checkpoint use the locater on the enemies and you'll get 12-15 kills. Right when the rockets stop hitting (so you don't get the checkpoint after that) revert to last save and repeat. You'll get so many commendations, but after about an hour it'll slow down a lot. I think I got ~50-70k credits in a little over an hour.

So I'm 1/2 of the way to Captain, and I have 90k credits saved up. Tomorrow I should get another ~40k credits (my friend found a great part of the campaign to repeat for insane credits, but it only works for around an hour a day) so by Friday I'll definitely be a Lt Colonel or a high Major. I need around 400k cR though for the remaining helmets that I still can't even see yet, and then PILOT HERE I COME! After I get all the helmets I'm also planning on buying all the armor so I can look like the Master Chief, which would be amazing.

I'm nearing Warrant Officer Grade 3, which I'm going to get today, but after I sleep. (it's 1:20AM). I have ~35k credits saved up so another ~18k today and I'll be set. Then by Wednesday I'm going to get to Captain for the achievement and Scout helmet, because my goal for now is all the helmets (~500k credits left to earn...). I'm also slowly getting the campaign done on Legendary and as of this moment I'm done with 3/10 missions including the beginning cutscene lol. Now, time to sleep.

Read a few of the books and every one of those questions are answered.

Here was my experience with the flaming helmet so far: A few people sending me and my friends messages asking if we were from Bungie, and one apologized for T-Bagging us Then either a 10 or 11 year old kid was on the other team, and I went in to armor lock right in front of him. Right when I did that and I was about to get out of it he starts screaming "WHY IS HIS FACE ON FIRE OH MY [bleep]ING GOD@@@@@" and then I proceeded to get up and smack him in the face! :D. Right now I'm using EOD because it's my favorite helmet that I can buy so far, but I really want the Haunted Helmet variation of the Pilot helmet (which I can't buy yet and is 90k credits and no one knows what rank you get it at) look it up if you haven't seen it yet; it would be crazy with my fiery head. I'm also almost a Warrant Officer Grade 1 because Bungie didn't reset me! Mwuahahaha :thumbup:

That's if you play on easy or normal. Unless you're an actual god, legendary will take you 2-3 hours per mission solo.

I doubt it, I think they tell you which order to go in. When we get to that mission we'll just go in quietly.

I'll be honest, I don't remember them doing that when I did that mission. Maybe it was because I ran in shooting, but whatever. I'll just check when my friends and I rush through it on Legendary on Sunday.
