  1. I don't believe a RoW gets you anything special, but just increases the new drops. Maybe it does only give you those special huge drops like 5k coal and such, but I'm not entirely sure. I know you can get a Vecna's Skull without one, but other than that I'm not sure.
  2. I'll take a spot if I can, I've recently gotten really bored of the server I normally play on so it would be nice to have some variety. My MC username is Duelmaster30
  3. I don't know for the actual potions, but it would be cheaper to buy vials and herbs and make unfs before the weekend. Good luck
  4. Go to the .minecraft folder and delete the bin folder. It'll redownload everything, but it works. That usually happens to me if I install a mod wrong or just delete the jar file without getting rid of everything else.
  5. We never did in the first place. Grats on the phats though
  6. I'm seeing Devo on March 15th, and I already ordered my energy dome
  7. I don't get why people are always [bleep]ing that Notch isn't CONSTANTLY working on the game. He's been working pretty damn hard for a while, so I say he can take whatever month or two long vacation he wants.
  8. In F2P, I believe fishing is the best money making skill, although that may have changed with lowering fish prices. I'd also recommend just getting P2P and making the leap now, because exp is faster and money is faster. If you do get P2P, train slayer, because at the semi-high levels it can bring in lucrative amounts of gp and gives some nice combat exp. However, if you really don't want to get P2P, try training on cockroaches or lesser demons; I believe those have some of the best drops, although lesser demons would be rather difficult at your level. One thing I'd say about just generally enjoying the game is to use guides on help sites for quests and stuff as little as possible, because although a quest may seem frustrating at first, figuring it out in the end yourself gives a much better feeling. Add me if you want too, I'd be happy to help you if you see me on sometime.
  9. You could also make wines and note the unfermented ones, that way they don't ferment until you bank them, so you could make several thousand and then only teleport once after you bank them all. I'll definitely have to try this though, so thanks for posting it!
  10. Am I the only one who has never had a problem in f2p? Maybe it's because I don't wear my best armor (because there's absolutely no point in doing so) but usually I just wear one of my skillcapes or a firecape. Generally people are nice to me too; I never get a "nolife" comment even though I'm level 125/137, which always astounds me based on how much other people complain about it. Maybe it's because I try to be nice to people online, but I almost always get a positive response from people on RS.
  11. They created a patch for their games (for a new burned copy) like the same day as the dashboard update, which lets them online without updating their modifications.
  12. If there's any dirt in your station in the floor, that's where they're spawning. If you get rid of it, they should stop showing up. I learned that the hard way when my entire castle on my old save had a dirt floor, so every time I came home I had at least 20+ pigs inside
  13. I tend to not even respond to idiots like that. I know I won't get banned because I don't bot and Jagex seems to be good at not getting the wrong people, and it's also fun to further the stereotype that high levels don't talk.
  14. You can't get a task if you aren't able to do it without boosts though.
  15. I'm pretty sure TNT doesn't blow up in classic.
  16. Hyperbole and a half
  17. Yeah, there's not much to be made of it yet but we'll see how it turns out. At least I won't be disappointed if they don't release a Halo 1 remake this year ;)
  18. Tormented Demons are a very good dropper of effigies, although you could just power through the boredom you have with slayer and get them that way. From like 95-99 slayer I got ~35 effigies.
  19. Real life. They've been testing for Microsoft for a few years, so I'm not doubting their story. They also tested Reach a little after the beta closed.
  20. So someone I know did some extremely early testing on the next Halo made by 343 Studios; apparently it's Halo 4
  21. So there's a new type of tree, and black sheep. Very cool. I also found a natural lava-fall, which started a major forest fire o.o
  22. Partitioning a HDD pretty much reserves space for one thing, so the computer (or Xbox) recognizes it as two drives. So you lose no space, but it is recognized as more than one HDD, leaving your other data untouched.
  23. You can buy one of their other HDDs in the old enclosures, open it and just plug it in (the same ports for the HDD are in the slim, so no converter is needed). You can also buy a 3.5" HDD (250gb max) and configure it to work with an xbox, but I'm not sure if that would really affect you. Many of my friends have done it and they haven't had any repercussions, but you never know. EDIT: And no, there is no way to use an external unless you partition it to be 16GB (Max) and the right format.
  24. The room with the range/melee/mage people is most likely a KC room, because it's shaped differently than Nex's room, which is in the shape of an ancient symbol. We haven't seen (that I know of) any definitive proof that there even are minions.
