I definitely have. I lagged out yesterday right before I went to Dks, and needless to say I didn't go after that. I've also seen/heard about a lot of people dying and losing things because of the lag.

I thought most of that thread was talking about how it is torva. That's what I thought when I saw it at least.

I just get a stealthboy, steal absolutely everything from the Silver Rush place and then sell their weapons to every merchant I can find.

Netflix, talking to friends, being in a good cc, or just grinding through the boredom until I got used to it is how I usually train.

Because they were most likely already planning on bringing it back next year in their 10th year, and they're just using this to either grow support, bring back players or measure the support they have with this decision.

Nice bank and stats, I want that summoning cape. When I got 99 mage through slayer I found some of the better tasks to do, and they were: Abyssal Demons (slightly slower than melee, and you need extra food) Gargoyles (faster than melee, and there is a safespot in kuradel's dungeon so no need for food) Ice Strykewyrms (much faster and easier than melee) Iron and Steel Dragons (kind of comparable with melee speed, although no ppots needed) Greater Demons (about the same as melee, maybe a little slower, but one bunyip will do you fine for health and an entire task) Those are the only tasks I maged, but each one gave me like 150-200k magic experience per task. The speeds are also with maxed melee and a whip, compared to Fire Surge (really the best spell ever for combat) Mage slaying w/ fire surge is astoundingly fast, on my best day with only four tasks done I got 800k magic experience, and the next I got around 600k and 99 magic, so I could have gotten much more. Also, on most of those tasks you can bring a wolp and boost your level if you're under 95. Gl if you go through with mage slaying, it's really easy.

Even 88 summoning is complete overkill for nearly every task. Congrats though, it's definitely a goal of mine (probably for 2011) to get either a DSS or ESS.

I would totally start pking if they did this. If they did this and it required a good track record and an old account, then I'm set! Over 6 years since I made it, and only a one day mute in 2007 that was wiped over two years ago. So in short, if they do this I will love Jagex forever.

99 Summoning 99 Prayer (these will be done first) At least 85 Dg, although I'll probably get 99 just for the cape and the four chaotics I want 96/99 Herblore (This'll be done only if I get enough money from slayer or something, because it isn't a huge priority) At least 25m Slayer (Done either by June if I have time or during the Summer) All 80+ A 200m+ cash pile just for pro looks, which shouldn't be too hard once I get all of the expensive skills down. And finally at least one skill per effigy at 97+ just so I don't have to get assists anymore.

I'm most likely going to get this on my 360 to be able to talk to my friends as we all play it, but if I have a good pc by then I'll probably dl it and mod the hell out of it, just for fun. I don't care if the PS3 is getting it, that just means more people to love Mass Effect. Also, Mass Effect 3 is most likely getting announced at the VGAs soon, because they're going to reveal "the next Bioware game", and Mass Effect fits in to that schedule. Also, Bioware won Studio of the Year, which is great.

Earth is not the most important part of the ME universe, and how would the Reapers have gotten there so fast without the Relay inside the Citadel? Although the part about unifying the galaxy to save everything is definitely going to be true, because you can see it happening in ME2 in a number of ways, for example, if you don't kill Wrex in the first one then he becomes the leader of the Krogans (most of them) and is unifying them and is willing to help Shepard when the time comes, which will definitely be important. Also the Rachni Queen has a messenger on Ilium who gives you a message essentially saying that she will also help when it is needed. [/hide] Okay after looking into it the leak is looking possible, but I'm still not entirely sure that they would center it just around Earth, although that would probably be the Reaper's first target, so I don't know.

Prayer would help a lot more (in my opinion) for slayer. Super sets are perfectly fine, extremes are just a big bonus. And yeah I was talking about a dragon dagger lol, it's a cheap and very very effective spec weapon. Also, even if you get a unicorn a bunyip is still usually better, just by the way. If you're going to either pump money into prayer or herblore, I'd personally go with prayer because soul split can be very helpful, and turmoil is insane if you could get that far. I'd say soulsplit would be fine though for most tasks, and it would let you recover any health that your bunyip would (rarely) not get on its own. Also, I spent an hour and a half on the first part of The Kid, beat it and then spent another 2.5 on the second level and nearly breaking my controller in the process. Then I gave up and went back to playing some of the storyline, and it's much more fun.

90 slayer is a good milestone, so KEEP GOING! My advice would be to sell the SGS, buy yourself a DDS and some Torag's, and use bunyips like there's no tomorrow. Buy a sara sword too, because they're the best (non chaotic) weapon for strength. Also, invest in your prayer. It'll be very nice in the long run in the reduction of ppots you use (you should be using 10% strength on every task). Also, you should be using super potions for every task, no exception. Those are just some basic things I did/used for 99 slayer, and they worked out pretty well for me.

You could never skip it, Jagex has been very stubborn about that.
