My brother and I are asking for a Ps3 for christmas and I was wondering if the games I asked for were a good choice. I asked for God of War Collection and LittleBigPlanet, and I'll probably rent UC2 before I buy it to try it out. Do these seem good?

The pictures showed squadmates' health in the corner which seems now like it is just there so you know when they're going to die, but I'm not sure. RTS style, Battlefield 2 campaign style or Rainbow 6 style? I don't like RTS very much, and I've never played BF2 or Rainbow 6 so I wouldn't know how those are. What I ment was that I can't stand games where you control yourself in a first person view and you have to take care of your teammates, because they are just too annoying sometimes. I like the integration of squadmates like they had in Mass Effect though.

Go in to 3rd person team tactical, that gets you into one maybe 3/5 times you try.

I prestiged for the second time yesterday, already rank 37 I think. I've ONLY been using RPD and knifing. I have about 1155 RPD kills so far and like 300 knife kills. My best game so far was 144 - 55 on Rust, and I got 2 AC-130s, like 8 harriers, and maybe 10 predators. I didn't even get to use them all it was so crazy, I had like 30 more kills than the #2 guy. I'm maybe 4 headshots away from Red Tiger, and I probably wont stop using the RPD either until I get the ACR or Fall camo.

I've finished season 1 & 2, and I'm one episode in to season 3. I don't have showtime so it's pirating for me :/

I'm honestly getting tired of these glitches now. I liked them a little while ago, but the xp is ridiculous and the spawn camping is annoying. I don't want to have to play on Rust 20 times in a row just because my friends love the exp rates.

Halo: Reach looks surprisingly good, it's a definite buy for me unless some leaked photos are correct and you control squad-mates, I despise games like that because I like concentrating on one person, not a group.

You should have looked for a smaller shop that has a good reputation for fixing xboxes, they usually get it done in a day. My friend's xbox got the rrod and he took it to a place near here called Game Gurus, and they fixed it in a day and gave him a life time warranty that if it ever breaks again they'll give him a new one. It was cheaper too, only $65.

Was it because [hide=even moar spoilers]TF141 launched that nuke?[/hide] I just don't get it. How does killing [hide=spoilersx2]see second hide tag[/hide] accomplish anything? Sure he lost all of those marines, but I just don't understand why. [hide=spoilers]Because they would have found out that he told Makarov Allen was american (or something like that). They were all camping at the bottom of the sniping thing at the top, so I just ran up to them and knifed 'em all. He's tying up the loose ends, just making sure it doesn't come out. That wasn't a nuke, it was an EMP. It was a nuke, nukes give off an EMP when detonated. Yeah, that's why if you watch the astronaut part again, the nuke doesn't explode on the ground, it stays in the atmosphere.

I've heard of this glitch on 360 as well, is it possible to join these games through the normal matchmaking lobbies? I joined a Domination game on Rust yesterday and it didn't end after 200 points which was odd. Yeah, that's the great thing about it; people join. For the way we set it up people get in through domination, 3rd person team tac, and ground war. You can set it so there is no time limit and no score limit so the only way to win is a nuke. This usually pisses people off though so if you get one wait for like 30-45 min before you consider using it, unless you hear someone on your team screaming "I got a nuke!!"

Hah, my friends and I found out how to create your own games with your own rules, we made giant games of domination on Ground War. I found the perfect spot to get nukes on Rust too. I got two in a row, I accidentally used my second one waaaaaaaay too early. My best game I went 118 and 61. This is the most fun Ive had in a while, it's like lesser versions of dedicated servers. I can see why the PC people were pissed, this is amazing and I really hope they make these official game types. Rust is the best for them though

Has anyone else's game been crashing since the patch? My xbox freezes every once and a while on live, it isn't a one time thing, it has happened eight times today. If this has happened to anyone else today, anyone know why it is happening and what I can do to fix it?

I personally like having a Predator/Harrier/Chopper Gunner combo as it is much easier to obtain. Or if you want to go big go Harrier/Chopper Gunner/Nuke. :mrgreen: Next week once I get to 47 I'm going to go Harrier/Chopper Gunner/Nuke just for those lucky games, because why not :D I'm 46 now, but I'm most likely not going to play for a week b/c I rented AC2 and L4D2 and I only have them for a week so I'm going to get the most out of them as I can.

What exactly is wrong with Spec Ops? They also purposely made no Coop for the campaign, because they wanted the storyline to fit, like in Cliffhanger, they tried two people w/ Soap, but that didn't feel like a stealth mission because it is much easier for one person to climb up a mountain and sneak through a base than two people going together, and the second player as Soap sure as hell didn't work for the story. What also is wrong with the multiplayer? Also, why does it being hyped make it worse for you?

I DOMINATED today. I got: 2x 28 kill streaks 1x 27 kill streak 1x 32 kill streak and 1x 35 kill streak. My best game was 53 and 4 My setup is the FAMAS w/ Red dot sight, AA-12 w/ RDS, Throwing knives, stuns, Marathon Pro, Stopping Power Pro and Ninja Pro. I use this on most maps, but on Wasteland and such I use my sniper class which is: .50 Cal w/ silencer and thermal, AA-12 w/ RDS, Bling Pro, Stopping Power Pro, and Ninja Pro. When I play with my friends, we all slaughter, but I have the highest killstreak so far :D Already 40, so fun!

Wow I slaughtered today. I went 28 and 5 on Wasteland just sniping, it was HQ Pro but we were playing in Mosh Pit which is very fun. Thermal .50 Cal w/ a silencer is AMAZING! Stopping Power required ofc. My best game was I think 27 and 4 on Quarry, playing with 5 other friends is amazing on this game. I LOVE IT SO FAR@#@@!@!@$!$!#$ I already have 17 hours logged so far rank 35, but I wont be able to play much on Sunday because I have to write an essay for English :( Wow I rambled a lot, I'm tired!

Yay, it was released six hours ago here and a few of my friends got it, but I'm going to get it in about 4-5 hours. Can't wait :thumbup:

You have only 4 periods! I have bleeping 8... I have 8 periods also, but only four each day, so it's an alternating schedule of 90 minute periods. Overall it's pretty nice

My mom gave me two options for MW2, I could either get it at the midnight launch and go to school, all four periods, or go to school for first second and third and miss fourth to be home by like 11. All I'd be missing would be Guitar so guess which I chose? :thumbup:

BORDERLANDS Damn good game, and it has the exact same button layout at CoD so it was very easy to start playing. I played it for ~5.5 hours yesterday and another two so far today, it's keeping me satisfied until Tuesday, and I'd really recommend getting it.

Yeah, somehow a lot of people got advanced copies of MW2 which IW approved, but they had to pay $120 per game. Honestly, if a store near me had that deal I'd do it in a second.
