  1. <3 scim for its speed. I don't even own my d long anymore, but I have to hand it to it, I used it once. In the Haunted Mine, I couldn't beat the boss vampire guy with my scim... but the long worked out pretty well. ...Of course by now I'd just whip him. =\ Err...walka92? The longsword hits 5 times in the time a scimitar can manage 6. whatever, a scim still hits faster. speed > strength, not the other way round. Whether or not strength > speed or speed > strength, the strength/attack difference between the dragon long and the dragon scimitar doesn't seem great enough to merit the long's strength overpowering the scim's speed.
  2. I think part of the thrill for skillers is to be called a noob and then out of nowhere whip out their levels. But that's just me. I don't want to sound like a loser, but a little part of me smiles when mister 107 combat, 980 total asks for everyone's woodcutting levels, revels in his glorious 77 woodcut until I tell him about my 94, and then disappears. =x

    OMG!!! P2p-ers!!!

    1. Why you think you are better people than us, who don't pay for the game 2. Why are you always referring to: "you don't pay 5 dollar, you don't have a reason to ask things from jagex" 3. why are so many of you people so full of themselves that you think other people are worth "less" than you? 4. Have you ever talked with an f2p-er for the reasons he did not wanted to be a member? 5. Do you consider f2p players as human beings? 6. I heard that most people in member worlds are brutal, annoying and lame, is this true? (I heard it from ex f2p-ers) 1. I don't. I only think that when I see f2p people behaving in a way that would deem such responses. For example, I was chopping in draynor in a f2p world to hang out with my friend and a couple of f2p skillers were there. They started calling me a noob for being there and for not having rune legs. I had higher wc than them, and I pulled out my full zammy, and then they continued to explain that "Zammy ain't nothin anyway" and "Zammy is a pansy god". In this case, I must admit, I did believe myself and my friend (who is also f2p) to be better than these ignorants. At the same time, I'll find p2p people who are just as immature or just as "dumb", so I don't think it's a f2p/p2p thing to be a better person or anything... 2. I don't believe I've ever said that... In fact, I've asked my girlfriend why f2p can't get new quests. 3. I'm not, so... 4. I have friends who are f2p-ers. They either don't like the game enough to pay for it or they just don't care enough. 5. ...Yes? Why wouldn't I? 6. Some of them. I think it's probably mostly new members who think they're awesome for having a dragon longsword and elemental shield. ...With full larupia. ...Oh; Age 16.
  4. Omfg, not your friends list! :( ...Not to be facetious.
  5. Tutorial Island is already boring and long enough. Adding more seemingly unnecessary things to new players would turn people away from the game. Mod messages go through chat set to off.
  6. Why don't they just have a bar and a toggle button for all of these together? Like the remaining potion time wouldn't have to span across most of the screen like the hp bar, but could take up a corner with smaller vertically-aligned bars in colors coordinated to the different stats they're timing.
  7. Wasn't one of the main points of the Grand Exchange the fact that you could do other things while still selling/buying what you needed? Granted, it'll take a while to sell, just like everyone else is saying. You have to consider the fact that it's not like you're competing in a single crowded bank within one world; your sale is compared to every other sale on the Grand Exchange among everyone in Runescape. But yeah. One of its purposes was to make trade more convenient by removing time wasted sitting in banks repeating the same "selling" message. Enjoy the time you're not wasting doing something productive or fun. :D
