They said the new skill wouldn't have a quest along with it. You'll be able to train it immediately. And god i hope it's not some instanced crap. Not because that is itself a bad idea, but because I get the sickly feeling that this is a skill that would have to be raised in groups. :wall:

Frankly, its people paying money to show off having something that have no real benefit. I hope its worth the exorbitant cash you eople pay for it.

No one says you have to go there multiple times. It could be a place to learn how to do it. Maybe after that it'll open up other places to do it. The boat could also take you to another island where you can do it there. And it's like 15 Wilderness at the entrance. That's nothing. Inside the gates it might not even be considered Wildy. Oh, and Dies, at most you've been playing 9 years, not 10. You can be in your tenth year, but you've only completed nine.

The compromise has not been implemented yet. It will be in the future.

I agree. The game is largely driven by competition amongst the peer community; any advantage over counterparts is seen as a victory to many. Exclusivity is the highest prize. And I think people should spend a little more time worrying about themselves and what they can do instead of what other people can do. Funny thing is that people with Fire Capes have a decent advantage over people without. Had this been done to begin with, it wouldn't have been an issue.

I must disagree with you somewhat. I think the majority of those with Strykewyrms don't worry about the money. They simply don't want people to have it any easier than they did. I kind of think of it as the Nomad clause. The reason why people didn't want to see Nomad get changed was not because they were debating if he was too hard. They had killed him while hye was hard and they were darned if they'd let anyone do it easier. I think the same applies to Strykewyrms.

I'll likely only get them when they add a space for them in the Costume Room so I'll need to fill that spot. That's about it.

That was something I thought about as well. Is this a case that whiners got their way because of whining or that whiners got their way by accident? I'd like to believe in the latter, though I'm not that gullible.Would be nice if they told us the reasons for the change, such as the convo I had with a mod about my condition and my inability to kill Jad. But no, they just stick to their line about "feedback." Specifics at Jagex is a four letter word.

My problem is that I can't do anything for two hours straight. My hands get too tired and I screw up. By the time I get to Jad, my hands are throbbing. Logging out doesn't help either because when you log in you get killed quickly before you can react. Jad isn't that tough though. Oh, and I'm simply not quick enough for Nomad. That kinda sucks.

Yeah, but how come whenever I say upgrayedd it is censored and replaced with upgrade? That kinda sucks and seems to be leveled solely at me since I was the only one who used that phrase.

Of the 30 93+ slayers I have talked this over with, only about half have fire-capes. Berlin wall? Pshh, that wall got torn down. This is more like the wall dividing Cyprus, that is alive and kicking. On a serious note though: serious analysis requires thorough examination and reasoned argumentation :P I'll be 93 Slayer eventually, but will never have Firecape due to my degenerative issues with the joints in my hands. Nice to know when I get that level, I'll be able to do them.

Truth be told, I agree with you that I'd like to see other threads about that, but the Mods also either close/merge those topics with the existing ones about the update. They typically only want one thread about one subject.

They look okay, but nothing too over the top. Yes, "street price" will be astronomical. Not because that's the actual street price, but mostly for people trying to BS people into thinking that's what everyone else is paying.

Big difference between criticism and whining. Saying "Jagex is stupid they broke RS again omg can't do they anything good" isn't constructive and quite frankly I am tired of hearing it. You THINK YOU CAN DO BETTER? Get to it, I will be eagerly waiting for you to succeed. Maybe you don't like the wording, but my point is with every update now it seems comes with major problems that often have nothing to do with the update. So no, they don't break Runescape, just portions of it, like the GE. And don't do the "if you think you can do better" crap. That's a total cop out. I've payed more than enough into membership with these guys to be allowed the opinion of a consumer.

Honestly I think it cooled a bit around 2 weeks ago which in my opinion would've been the best time to put it in along with the Wyrms.
