Definitely ME3, just like how people thought Goodfellows was definitely FT3. <_< Don't get too upset later if it turns out to be FT3 this time  I thought you've decided to focus only on the RS homepage for updates? I am. On what I said, I was disucussing his assertion that he knew it would be ME3, much in the same way people, like myself, thought Goodfellows was going to be FT2. I'm not discussing the twitter hint and what update it will be though. -

07-Oct-2009 - High-level Herblore Potions

not really, almost no one has it so there is currently no obligation Hey, if we go back to old school Jagex, then this is in line with some of their oldest beliefs. OSJ, and this was back before even RS2, but they constantly derided and criticized pures/skillers. They didn't like the idea of them producing this whole game and then people only playing a certain part of it and ignoring the rest. If they're going back to that, then yes we could see more stuff like this, which I absolutely love. I pray for nontradeable, powerful weapons that you're required to make yourself. -

Runecrafting, talk about a skill in desperate need of freshening up... :ugeek: -
Agree'd. I read the first account, but it would've been more interesting if they'd come back with some Jagex nuggets. Damn NDA. I couldn't have gone because I can't keep a secret to save my life, like when Racheya had a drunken girl on girl all night love fest. ... oops. :-#

There's a 30 second cooldown on eaqch dose of that pot you can drink... -
Dont read it then, simple as that. :P I had to read it to know if it offered me anything I might be interested. And thanks for the advice to not doing something when I told you I've already done it. That's like eating a piece of turkey and getting sick, and me telling you to not eat that turkey.

Cause what we need more of in this game is stupid little quests to unlock every update? I thought I was the master of complaining about bad updates, but you seem to have found a way to whine about even this amazing update. If they had made a quest you would have complained it wasn't long enough. Not every update covers every aspect of the game. But new ingrediants would create a new market with its own prices. Using the same old tired herbs and items for tertiary ingredients simply increases the expense of both old and new potions. Furthermore, the potions that are required for the new potions are going to increase in price- along with the ingredients. Me, I'm kinda peeved all this is not tradeable. What if you don't like combat? What use are all these high level potions for you? And what about profit? Let's torture ourselves, spending sixty or so million gp and countless hours getting high level herblore for a handful of potions! Don't get me wrong- high level potions are a great incentive to level up, but by making them untradeable, most players will never feel their benefits. You and Libs are both right, they should have created new herbs/ingredients, or maybe even tied it in with another skill (new monsters/items only gained through farming/wc/etc.). However, they did a very good job making these untradeable because it truly makes them high level content. You can't plop down 20k and get one of the potions, you need to train other skills to make and (to an extent) use them. It's a good road they're going down. Soon enough, the best equipment won't be acquired by purely buying it, but through training other skills. Thanks. And you know what? My Torag's legs are still connected to my Abby Whip! Stupid graphical glitch they won't fix... *grumble grumble*... -

g00d, I never said the update was good or bad. I was saying that I was bothered how nothing in the game supports these additions. No one mentions them, we don't even have anything new really to put into it, it's just as if they shoved some content in with little forethought. -
Dan, I meant that it offers me nothing related to Runescape, due obviously to the nondisclosure agreement. Because of that, it's them telling us about them going bowling with some J-mods, hence it has no benefit or interest to me.
-
Sorry, but this offers me nothing. Basically you detail how you spent a few days hanging out with J-mods and talked with them. Sorry, but this isn't all that great.

Am I the only one with an issue with the way these came out? No quest rewards, or new ingredients, or new locations, or anything? Just bleah! Some potions. Kinda the same issue I had with the new Agility Courses. No in-game reason given. They're just added without any story reason. Just shoved in. A bit lame really... -
Exactly, it wouldn't help Smithing really. It would only be a use for it that you'd use rarely, not something readily trainable.
-
I'm gonna need some help with the soundproofing then. I'm only 4'10 and like 90 pounds. I can't put up the mattresses by myself.
-
That'll only help people who are trying to get fast levels or get to 99. Mining and Smithing have issues with their products being obsolete, not worth the time or the money, and other giant issues like that. Even when the level is mastered, you're producing only medium level armor.
-
Cry over the 500+ dollars in membership fees I've spent.
-
Yes, but it DOES help mining. Um, for like a week while people mine it. Then it goes right back to where it was. Mining right now has a problem that cannot be solved or even significantly improved by the addition of a new ore. Sorry.
-
Me in all of my awkward, sexy glory at Clearwater Beach on Sunday. \ [hide=][/hide]
-
They wanted to update smithing and make it better. Adding a new ore doesn't do anything to address that problem, it's simply new content in the skill. So no. Unless you talk about the possibility of dragon ore that they mentioned in the Q&A.

I think they agreed which is why they pretty much stopped leaking stuff via the clan chats. -
Hey, I was able to catch one of the neighbor kids with a rope and my dad's old fishing net. I also dyed him red too, so now he looks awesome. Problem is every time I shove some herb tar in his mouth he never breathes fire, all he does is gurgle and sputter and call for his mommy. Any tips? :geek:
-
hahahah well i don't have the magic level to do that! maybe i neeed to make more tabs... Suppose so. Also, few things hurt more than sunburned nipples.

How can I make some Ghostly Robes so that people can see through me? I made some robes that were sheer so that you could see through them, but all that got me was arrested for indecent exposure. :?
-
Then you can hardly confirm it as you didn't get the drop nor witness it. I've witnessed people getting from Dwogres. Well there you go. Question answered.
