You know, there's more to this game than just updates. Yes, I do know. However, these updates are crappy. Really crappy.

Psh, this update isn't even qualify as an upgrayedd. It's just a crapload of patch notes. Halloween, off week, and this. Boy aren't we rolling in the updates for the past couple of week. I feel bad for anyone who might've bought members for a month after the last Diary was released.

well, I don't think they do it on purpose, but they certainly don't seem to be as upset about it when they do it as they used to. Also maybe one of the reasons I felt annoyed this time around was because it was an update with a defined update period instead of the usual "it's released when it's ready" bit they usually go by. They have to be capable of a little bit of planning if they can release the Halloween update during a scheduled two week period.

Hey, I wanted to let the people who did the guide know that in "The Holy Grail" quest it suggests that since the Black Knight Titan cannot move that you step back and mage or range it. Problem is that the BKT is immune to mage and range attacks, only melee works against him, so halberds would be a better tip. That's all. Thanks.

Guess I'd have to say I don't find it a coincidence that this happens around the same time my standards for updates in general aren't being met, but that's just me.

They announced that this week would not have an update. Oh yeah, I'm not someone who complains about the days they choose to release, although in all the blogs I've yet to see a reason why they happen late week now. That's not a criticism but merely my own curiousity on the subject. Last week's update was rather bleak and also took all of 15 minutes. Now it's a week with no update which is lame in itself. Next week will probably be a lame update as well, but whatever. Powerpig..

Or does it seem like every time now we have a no update week it seems to come the week after we had a rather negligible update so it often feels like two weeks without an update. Also note, this is not a rant on them not having updates, but what I think is rather poor update scheduling.

I think they might have had issues with people not getting the joke - and seriously thinking all they did was sleep and snog :mellow: Wait, isn't that all you do? Oh, and you watch anime.

Am I the only one who think they missed the mark with this video? Zombies and all that, yeah, it's funny, but it could've been so much more. They should have played up the whole idea that they're lazy and don't do anything. Instead of dead people on the computers, it would've been great if they had been sleeping. Maybe have a couple of people sleeping under the desks. People haing around playing checkers instead of working. Open a door and find two of the Mods in there snogging. That would've been better I think. And they didn't have one Monty Python reference, which is kinda sad. Oh, and you guys are probably right about them just doing it with a quick few minutes, but imagine the awesomeness if he gone into the Mechscape room and flashing lights went off, there were sirens, and a guard threw him back out of the room. :-D

I also like the miclicking. Clicking on an item in my bank to withdraw it and having another random items, rows down and 8 spaces over coming out. It's awesome. This in addition to it not properly recognizing my mouseclicks. Runetek5 is really not so great.

I wouldn't vote for them for this year. Not after the content that they've given us. I would love it if Andrew could receive his own reward strictly for game programming.

Raven does have a point on the Mod thing when it came to MA. The guy had a legitimate beef, he was then ridiculed and called a liar by a Mod, and then when he was vindicated he got a half-assed apology. I get the not returning items, but he didn't need to be treated the way he was.

Not only their lies, but their constant shroud of secrecy in which they operate. Not just about updates either. I also want to point out the people that came out to their offices for a few days and being made to sign Nondisclosure agreements. :wall:

Just a note, this blog isn't about Runescape. Okay, now this was something that seriously bothered me yesterday. To anyone who may not know, I'm a librarian. Now usually I don't work with the public, but yesterday I was working the downstairs front desk for most of the day. Anyway one of the jobs you do down there is you have a number of items being held on reserve for people to come pick them up. DVDs, books, videos, typical fare. Anyway, a young girl came around to pick up a book she had on reserve. She was probably somewhere between 13-14 years old if I had to guess. So I asked for the name it was under.I will keep her last name a secret as it's no one's business really, but it was her first name that caught my attention. Her name was Euthanasia. Now let that sink in beacause it needs to be thought about. Euthanasia, spelled that way, letter for letter. Now look, I understand that some black people, even though they haven't had a relative see Africa in over 400 years, know nothing about it, know nothing of it's culture, know nothing of the people who live there, and maybe a 1/3 to 1/2 of them come from an ancestor who came from an island in the Carribbean anyway, wish to express some form of their African heritage. I don't get how giving your kids stupid names accomplishes this. But as dumb as it is on its own, I don't think you understand the ramifications this will have on them in the future. Not the near future, I'm talking more than two decades after you give birth to them. Long after you appear on Maury to find out which of the two cousins in her father. Long after she's having trouble in school and you don't help her because you're more worried about going to da club at 30 years old. Long after she's in high school, and friends with other girls named Campho-Phenique and Shaquaqua and having trouble, but you can't help her because you didn't finish high school. Long after you gave her a ridiculous name. She's going to have to look for a job. Now if she does well enough to have a job where she sends in a resume, what kind of first impression do you think this name will make? Let's say some employer gets three resumes for a job. One from Mary, one from Susan, and one from Euthanasia. What kind of first impression do you think that will make? How much harder is she going to have to work to get the job because you named her after the word that is defined as "mercy killing?" It's utter crap. Frankly, the only place Euthanasia should have in all this is that we perform it on the dumb mother who named her daughter that. Killed for the mercy and the future of her child.

Yes, Zierro is right. When you don't swear, it's much more challenging, creative, and pleasing to insult someone since it forces you to think and create. Better all around trolling.

Honestly, we don't even know enough about Mechscape to even be able to give a correctly informed opinion about it, whether good or bad. Hex your argument here is as lazy as your Garfield avatar.

This is all why I'm more in favor of the drop tables that Andrew mentioned in his blog than the current drop wheels that they use. Would be nice to gain more potential for a drop if you go too long without. And I'm not talking about crap like PvP EP.
