So it's true. Jagex REALY does hate the magic skill
Me_Hate_Libs replied to Dirkmetal's topic in Rants
Because Magic sucks. So yeah.. :P -
Wonder what would happen if he did die. And it'll be fixed next week.

Does this mean I won't be getting my four foot long replica plush Godsword? Lame... <_<

you know what, I really thought the idea of making holiday related quests and letting f2p do them for 2 weeks and then making them members was a good idea. I don't think they should do it every year and for every holiday, but I think it's great.

Reversal, I don't have much to dispute with that, except I would point out that merchanted are also middle men who skim what they can off the prices and make money doing no actual work. That is why I don't approve of merchanting as it contributes nothing. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Merchanters don't make money. They accumulate it.

No, it's not overpowered.

What is profit for, if it's not to get you to the goals you desire then? To buy you whatever you wish to spend it on. If you want to use the profits from one skill to make another one easier, fine, but don't go complaining about how expensive it is to buy certain skills. Remember this. Outside of Construction and Summoning, every single skill can be trained in some way for *free.*

Aww, poor baby has his build spoiled? Using the new slayer master would screw up your pureness or whatever crap you're trying to do. Poor baby. Isn't everything unfair. Unfair to level 3's with 99 slayer and unfair to the people who don't want to work for anything. I'm so tired of the whining. BTW, before anyone can say anything, I don't whine. If I have a criticism I'll offer up alternatives or something constructive. This is just straight 'plainin.

There is a reason why trade exists. Specialization keeps the game in balance. Some people are runecrafters, some are slayers, some are dragon-killers, some are farmers, some are secondary gatherers. By trading between these different groups of people, we can make gameplay more efficient and more enjoyable. By telling him to gather everything himself, you are discouraging efficiency and the spirit of working together. Buy those supplies! But don't get upset if other people begin to value their time more and sell their supplies for more. The spirit of working together? Ugh give me a break with that anti-individual collectivist crap. I wasn't talking about how to train the skill fastest or the most efficient. I'll tell you one thing, if you want efficieny in making pure profit, do everything yourself and you'll have all the cash you need. I am encouraging self-sufficieny with a bit of profit on the backside.

They are Guthix's Edicts, not ethics.

I think that the prices of p-hats is racing to catch up with the price of inflation.

'Tis why it's a good update. :P Why? I got my task from Lapalok, Abyssals, why should I not be allowed to use the new area to kill the creatures, simply because of my choice in Master? Yeah. Because it's her Slayer dungeon meant for her students doing her tasks. If you don't like it, she'll boot you out.

I bet you'd say Jagex turned repetitive and are no longer cteative if that did happen... You're just never happy. You say it like I'm sitting under a bridge waiting for some billy goats gruff to cross over my head so I can jump up and eat them. I'm very happy with this quest. I liked it a lot. But I do have some criticisms about it. I personally don't mind a little repitition, but I do mind what I see as half-assing certain things. Oh, and in the future, please don't criticize me for something you think I *might* do. Keep it to things I actually *do* do. Alright, the way I see it you ALWAYS not matter how great (or aweful) an update was, find something to whine about. I don't mean to offend you, but it really does seem like you're waiting under a bridge for some billy goats to cross over your head so you can jump and eat them. Yeah, I laid a softball out there for someone to take a swing at and it was socks. :P Anyway, I'm not offended. I'm not really that bothered by it. You call it whining. I call it criticism. And I try to make it as constructive as I can in most situations. Unless an update is so awful and pointless that their can be no hope for it. *cough* Mobilising Armies *cough* Your signature seem to prove otherwise... Yeah, doesn't mean I can't be sarcastic. And it was awful for a while, but they've seemed to fix the issues i've had with it. I've been meaning to change it...

It's less crowded though (no campers) and the +4 damage ring is worth going for hitting faster really adds up on the longgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg journey to 99  +1 and also the abby demon spot here is beast lol no campers to deal with This must be for you people with "home worlds" and hating to change serves. I honest have no problem finding a world with no or one person slaying Abbys. On another note, I might do Blue Drags there too. Taverly can be a little crowded sometimes.

I like this and I think it's good for many people, but most of those monsters I would prefer to go to their other locations. Irons and Steels would be the only guys there I'd slay there.

What Custom Rank Do You Want on Tip.It Forum Boards?
Me_Hate_Libs replied to Dire_Wolf's topic in Questionnaires
Total-Flirt or Lapalok-tease. That is unless I'm totally mispronouncing Lapalok's name... -
Yes, it's not like your ever going to see anybody on Runescape making out or having to hear that gross wet, slurping sound. Just let them have their little RDA's and don't worry about it.

Certain quests are renown for their one parts that have a stupid level of failure rate. i.e. The bridge in Olaf's quest and the chest in Desert Treasure. This is the only one where that level runs through the entire quest. It is quite irritating.

Aww, if I had been around I could entered my submission of "I know he came out black, but I swear it's your baby!"
-
Punitive is right. And when I said locked up, I was thinking more of him trapped somewhere or whatever. Just something. Not him just chilling in the Digsite.
-
85 slayer, but I don't do it so much. So no biggie for me.

I don't completely consider the playing time when I consider the length of a quest. For example, if you're doing My Arm's Big Adventure and you have 2% at Tai Bwo Cleanup, I'm not counting the 30-60 minutes it might take to get to 60% reward. I'd consider the steps in the quest. My issue with the quest is that it's like every quest this year. It came across to me as lazy. I like the way they tied in the Barrows chest, but when they made it half the quest, it was a let down for me. I liked the puzzle too, but after having down ME2 4 or so years ago, this puzzle didn't phase me all that much. Oh, and we got the relic. Boy that way difficult. Couldn't they have made it that he was caught and locked out and we had to break him out or something? Nope. He's just hanging about in the Digsite. Too bad he couldn't have been given a nice little lounge charir like the Leprachaun on top of the Troll Stronghold.
