They were two very good articles. I did enjoy them a lot. And Rawr, I'm gonna have to give you a quote violation. That is *way* too many long quotes to be put into one post makiing a super wall of text. I mean damn.

Interview with Mod Chris L on "Within The Light Quest"
Me_Hate_Libs replied to Den's topic in General Discussion
My issue I have is with the 2009 Upgrayedd year, the year of short quests, upgrades, and overall rather mundane updates. 2010 sounds like it'll be a great year however. I'll pay for some members then. -
That hard bit was the guards not the fights or rat catching. It took me about 3 hours to complete the house. Wow... you suck. No, I'm just kidding. I honestly don't remember much about the quest other than doing it the day it came out, lol

I still find it a little depressing how much linger we have to wait for all these great updates to come to us. Next year is loking good though. -
Morning, did you have a kitten or a cat? If you had a cat, Rat Catchers was easy.

I've always had poor luck on most things. I did recently get a whip drop of demons and have had a few okay TTs over my years of doing them. That's about it.

I love my days off. They're awesome. Honestly it's the best thing in the world to sleep in, not worry about whether or not to shower, not caring if you're wearing clean underwear, knowing you have all the food you want and that you can spend the whole day in your house and not have to leave. Just sit on your butt and play Runescape, if that's what you do with your day. Today, I'll probably be training Slayer, and by the end of the day, I hope to have 86 Slayer and 93 Attack. OH, BTW, Racheya had a great article up on the Tip.it Times. I liked her better than the other one, but that might be because I like more ranty articles like the one she did.

I never got the chance to do Underground Pass in RS2, but there is no way it could be harder than it was on Classic. On Classsic, it was *the* hardest quest to do. Legends may have higher level requirements, but that was easier.

Do what I did. Make your opinion known with your money. I didn't like the updates, so I stopped paying for them. Granted me alone won't make a difference, but if everyone who complained about not liking where they are taking the game did that and actually have the testicular fortitude to give up members, then we might see some changes.

My biggest issue is that when I click between open windows, somehow RS registers a mouseclick somewhere in the game window and I run to it. I'm clicking on the tabs though, not the game. It's really annoying when in combat and trying to cruise these forums. Oh, and I love when in my bank and I click to take out a tinderbox, I take out a chisel that's 4 rows down and 6 spaces to the right. -.-

Thw only way they Mechscape will destroy Runescape is if Jagex stop developing RS to make Mechscape, which if is the case, then Jagex would have destroyed Runescape, not Mechscape. Here's the deal: Someday, Runescape will be gone. Everything we are doing will not make any real difference in the long run. Get over it and have fun while you can.

Swamp, if anyone was experienced at fixing nothing, it would be Jagex.

I'll pretty much rip anyone online. If you come on and don't act normally, I'll call you out on it. I treat everyone exactly the same, no different whether they have autism or anything else for that matter. I don't know a lot about autism, but I don't think one of the side effects is to turn them into a crybaby. If they can't take it, oh well. :^_^:

D&D Online switch to the RuneScape Model
Me_Hate_Libs replied to primadog's topic in General Discussion
No, the vast proportion of f2p players are very happy with the game. The complainers, however, shout the loudest, creating a feeling that most people don't like the game very much. If so, why is the game so successful? That is a very true assessment. Note: I am not slandering gays here. Just stating a fact. In America currently, some gays are calling for tolerance. They are, however, intolerant of others. But since they make the most noise, they are the ones heard. By most noise do you refer to the feather boas and assless chaps? Also, I'm sure many free players are happy that you're comparing them to American homosexuals. -
Who knows? We won't be in there any time soon that's for sure.

I got the Elves are all living underground now in that under-city? That seems a bit Dwarfish. OMG the Elves are an ancient breed of tall Dwarves!!! But seriously, that's what half the posts on here are about. Stuff that we know is stupid. <_<

Something that has helped me is if I try to pick the pocket of an elf and they catch me, if I eat a whole loaf of bread afterward I'll be in tip top shape.

D&D Online switch to the RuneScape Model
Me_Hate_Libs replied to primadog's topic in General Discussion
Making players who don't pay anything as happy as possible? This doesn't sound anything like the current Jagex business model since most free players spend all their times complaining about a lack of f2p updates. -
Within the Light shouldn't even have existed
Me_Hate_Libs replied to ford_landau's topic in General Discussion
karv, I think he was talking about the long series of quests that we'll have to go through to unlock a hidden city. Prif is hidden under the field as a crystal, Arposandra is hidden under the ground, Menaphos is hidden under a big, black space, lol -

No, I think it should be a full on skill. They talk about how they want more Elite level content right? There you go. WOW did it with their Riding skill that was for like level 40's, before it got dropped to level 30 then 20. Didn't they say their skill would be something that no other MMORPG had done? Why not a skill solely for high levels? -

Usually, new skills are unlocked with novice quests, not master. You're right, but wouldn't it be awesome to have a skill only for high levels? It could be slow to train, offer good rewards for you that are nontradeable, and be fun to train. That would be sweet. -

No, he isn't. Sliske is also known for having a hand in many, many minor ways of all the inhabitants of RS. It's most likely we haven't seen Sliske is any form as of yet. -

Wow, you have a lot of patience... -
We know Den. No one can really figure it out. At this point, I think they might be screwing with us for a laugh. In any case, I don't need the other reward all that badly. Would be nice if he hinted at it even a little.
