Sal, I couldn't get anything nice from that render.
  2. I don't know what my Anglican church's stance on this. I'm not religious, but I go there because I like the vibe of friendly-ness and free cake. I don't see anything wrong with homosexual priests or vicars, we have a female vicar, I know some traditional Anglican churches go real anal about that. To me, it just seems like more inter-religion arguing, nothing new.

I've been trying to gain weight for ages. I do a lot of exercise. I haven't finished growing yet as well.

    Or me :D

This sounds pretty cool. I have heard of it before, the closest I think I've ever come to it is being able to visualize music. But only with some songs. Nothing like associating numbers and colours to letters and words etc, or any warm thing.

I do eat. A lot. I don't get it, I just don't put weight on that well. It is crazy.

Okay, seeing as I lurk and never really post, I thought I might come out of the dark. Lent, what do you think of this combo? Okay, I have 2 pair of these - in that colour and this - With cotton shirts (white and light blue, need a striped) or graphic tees (from threadless, I might add ), with a navy blazer and/or black (lightly pinstriped) blazer, or if it is a cold, a tight-fight, fine knit ralph lauren jumper. I inherited it, from my brother, who never wore it. For shoes, I either wear my white or black high top chucks. Just to give you guys a general info about my figure, I'm 175cm, and dead skinny, I carry no muscle, practically. I weigh 55kg, seriously. It is unhealthy. But anyway, do you think i'm doing okay for style, and what could I do to improve? And suit-wise, because I need a suit, what do I go for? Anything else? Shoes etc... EDIT: Just read the thing about shaving last thread - I've never needed to shave. I'm 15, and I haven't shaved. Ever. My family isn't exactly what you would call hairy. Hah.

Skullys. I'll get onto yours soon.

That is pretty awesome. Way down south, it got a bit owned...

I agree with you Sallaste. I don't really like it, I feel as if I haven't grown out of my old old style. Meh. Littleboy should do the changes.

    I am a noob and I can't triforce. Also a lame render.
  13. Shiny replied to Shiny's topic in The Art Bazaar
Nowai skully. I'm not good enoughh to triforce. EDIT: didn't like so I made some changes - ^ Take it or leave it, good practice for me :P
  14. It is slightly out of focus, but it is a nice image. Again, the composition is fairly boring. Can't really say much.
  15. Took your time, Davis.... Haha. It is, but I find the node network hard to get to grips, and I don't know how to do good textures in it, and atmospheres, and such. Very confused. I just play with the sliders. I do now how to make decent 3D cumulus clouds.
  16. I think your right, then maybe incorporate it into the tag.
  17. I may or may not pick yours, but the deal is, give me a render from planet renders (just google it) and i'll do something for you. Nothing to formal or fancy, but I want to get back in the swing of thing. I may not get to you too quickly either. Name: Render: Examples:
  18. Hey Nadril, some sexy atmospheric thing. With a mountain. Snow-capped or not, up to you. That is, if you pick me. You know you want to...
  19. Better smudging than me :P I like the colours, but am undecided on the outline.
  20. My thing came out grainy and lame - Help me NADRIL. What render settings are you using, and how long do they take? And your awesome post process skills? This is just a screenshot, as well. Final render was rubbish and I forgot to save.

Instead of complaining about the advice your given, Outofblood, to improve this and your futures signatures, I suggest you take it. C4Ds in general would bring the whole tag up. I used to make grungy tags, and was heavy into smudging, but c4ds are really what you need to add visual interest to a tag. As for text as a space filler - I think you have used it in a way similar to that. Typography doesn't use text as a 'space-filler' indeed, it uses text to make up form and shape.
  22. This thread is full of win. You always inspire me to open my completely legal copy of Terragen, Nadril.
  23. Shiny replied to Ru_Nit_E's topic in Art and Media
I like the text, but in terms of visual interest, you could have more effects, creating more depth and flow. I'd say go completely black and white, and bump up the contrast. Remember to keep the tag sharp in the focal area.
  24. I agree with Soa, with one thing I might add. Why are all the clouds lame-looking in Terragen? Every single time I have generated a cloud, in terragen 1 and 2 they looked uncool...

    ): I was so keen...
