Do you have one Sam? YOu look good in green :P Congratulations ;)
  5. Okay kids... here is the deal. I'm going to post my first two or three signatures, my last made signature and a signature I liked and one no one else liked, and some others along the way as a tag maker. I want to see how much all of you have improved over time and stuff? Sounds good? I'll go.... My first tag ever, with my old runescape name. I love the brushes. My third try, on the same day I believe as the one above. I always liked this tag, even though the text and border and crop aren't great. No one else liked it :P This was the point where I started to really develop I think And my last made tag. Rangers for teh lolz. C/C? Anyone else, what has your tag journey been like? I'd be especially keen to see yours, Littleboy.

  8. Shiny replied to yaff2's topic in Art and Media
Phat. Needs higher quality, and I think, to really make the car ballin, go from a really low angle.
  9. Shiny replied to Shiny's topic in Art and Media
Yeahh go go go. I've got a smaller version now. You should finish the collab sam, maybe see if anyone wants to help. 3D text maybe?

New Zealanders who emigrate to Australia raise the IQ of both countries. -Robert Muldoon, the most [bleep]ed and funny Prime Minister of NZ.
  11. A poster and a possible collab because I got bored on it. C/C on both pieces would be great, and before you say it, I know the text on the poster is hard to read in spots. It is what the people asking for it wanted :P Here you go - ^ That's the collab if anyone wants to take a crack. There is a fair few layers in there, but be my guest. IF anyone wants it, i'll rapidshare it.
  12. I fully agree with you on the pentool thing Dsavi. I cannot, for my life, use it in PS. What were you doing yesterday tripsis?
  13. Shiny replied to Humus's topic in Art and Media
Now now, keep it G.... How long did the sig take you Humus?
  14. Shiny replied to Humus's topic in Art and Media
Mint thanks as Humus. Love the colours.
  15. I'll give you some critique, photo by photo. 1. If you sharpen this one and boost the colours, it would be a great photo! The lighting is great, making the colours really nice and soft. Some nice bokeh in the background as well. 2. Really unsharp and the flowers are ugly :# If this photo was in focus, I would like it, make with a more 'widescreen' crop, and it in black and white, I think it would be a fairly nice photo. 3. Not the best out of the bunch (see... flowers... bunch... HAHAHAHA...), out of focus, and the lightning is rather dull. 4. The lighting in this photo is really harsh, giving you dull colours and a flat picture. You have captured a nice scene though, and the composition of the tress is good. I think again, a coolor aspect ratio and making it black and white and boosting the contrast via levels would bring the best out of this scene. I could be wrong, but it is what I think might look good. 5. Really nice colours, really nice lighting. This, and #1 are my favourites. I think you've composed the flowers really well, now you just need to subtlety boost your colours. And the lensflare is a nice touch - no joke. 6. You need to crop off the top of the picture, so you just have the wood as your background, and sharpen it to bring out the details. The composition is fairly dull, but I think if you lop the top of the photo and maybe even a bit off the bottom it'll make the flowers more interesting. Very nice depth of focus you have here, Felix, and they are nice flowers. A few touches would make this a decent photo. 7. Ehh, not much to say here, a bit out of focus it seems. 8. Nice focus, I think you could go with areally desaturated, but not yet black and white loook and a more widescreen-format crop. What camera do you have, may I ask?

I've always liked your style. Want to make me a tag? Just with the text - 'Shiny' Go nuts.Just no anime renders.
  17. I think the texutre is a bit iffy, it needs to be rougher, and more like an army truck, and the windows probably need to be see through. The model is very well done though. You should do some tanks, that would be pretty darn cool.

I think the chaotic effects have been done right here. There is a unity in the composition of the tag, and the colours, bring all teh chaotic effects together. Don't like four though.
  19. Shiny replied to Humus's topic in Art and Media
I love the messy chaotic-ness, usually I hate it.
  20. OMG WHERE HAS SONIC GONE?!! This really does look like a great new Photoshop.
  21. Shiny replied to rangeor's topic in Art and Media
    Don't like the blurryness.
  22. I'm not a fan of the first one, I think your effects and colours are really average. I think the second one however, it looks much much better. I like the concept and idea, it just looks so cool.
  23. Yeah, i've never really been a fan of anime renders either. I think that in this case though, the colour really detracts from it. IT seems really monotonous. Keep looking at tutorials for ideas for effects, usually heaps of them.
  24. I'll have the same zoom lens as you (18-55mm) and I do think it is worthwhile upgrading to that prime.
