  1. D hide is only good when fighting monsters that use magic and you wont find them much when training slayer, its def stats are terrible so don't say it protects well. Of course if you are using protect melee it will protect you, anything would in that circumstance. Whip will outshine korasi in pretty much every instance, metal dragons are about the only exception. If you are not using slayer helm then you should be at least using black mask,no reason at all to ever use a d hide coif. Obsidian cape would be his best bet for now.
  2. Yeah, no one is going to borrow a bgs when its only like 3mil now
  3. Alright, I figured dragons were probably my best bet. I will give both a try and see which is faster. And is cannon really worth it when trips will only be like 5 minutes or so?
  4. Im sitting around 55mil at the moment, Id like to get about 100mil or so so I can buy the items and skills I want. I dont really care how its done; combat(PREFERRED), skilling, or whatever. I will probably do some of it through slayer but thats pretty slow money most of the time. Any recommendations for 500k-1mil or more an hour methods are the ones I am looking for. Also, if I do green drags to make money where should I do them at and if there are any guides available I would appreciate a link. I haven't done them since the wild was made pvp again
  5. Thanks for all the advice everyone. I think I will wait to 59 and then actually go at it. I may try to find a dung team or something. I know the basics, I have got about 10 levels from actually dungeoneering but gave up because it was so slow. And I haven't played in about a year so most of the friends I had don't play any more or I am not close enough to them to train with them
  6. meant to say promethium not primal 2h
  7. At what level should I actually start trying to train the skill? And how should I find a team, just go to a dungeoneering world or what? And how long would it take to get to 80 at like 2-3 hours a day dungeoneering Also how would I go about getting a primal 2h? Could I search the runescape forums for a smith?
  8. I thought that it was pretty much standard strategy to attack the healers to draw them away from jad? Or did they change it? I haven't played in a while so they may in fact have changed it with the fight kiln release or something
  9. Not unless you are experienced in already doing it, thats just another attack you are going to have to watch for to switch prayer
  10. Its been about a year since I have played. About the only thing I have done so far is the branches of darkmeyer quest. Are there any good quest I should focus on or items I should get? And are there any good new ways of making fast cash throught combat? I am probably going to work on slayer as well so any new items that help slayer would be good too. Also did dungeoneering get any updates to make it easier or faster to train? Sorry for all the questions Items I have: the useful barrows items like karils, verac armor, etc., whip, d defender, fury, d claws, full slayer helm.
  11. I already have a fury, and I like ROW too much to give it up. I have about 60mil sitting around so I may go ahead and buy bandos since Im going to train slayer some more. I agree, but I despise dungeoneering. Most of my levels have been from lamps, tears, or books. I have yet to try in a team so it may be better but so far I hate the skill. Eventually I will get it but I just need to find the motivation first. I will probably wait till I finish my other item goals first
  12. Its been a while since I have played, everything has decreased in price now. Since the vine piece is only a few mil now I was wondering if it was worth it? Nvm: Just realized you need 80 slayer, I guess Id have to wait then
  13. I find it hard to train dungeoneering for an extended amount of time so I figured doing it during the bonus exp weekend would be a smart move. Are you able to get bonus exp doing dungeoneering and how does it calculate the bonus exp if so? I would like to solo at least till 70 so any calculations on time taken would be helpful
  14. Id work on the shield, a dragon defender would be more beneficial in most training or combat situations. A new cape would also be beneficial. Dragon boots if you dont have. Besides that the only thing left is a fury
  15. I would kill dharok first then karil. I almost always have enough prayer to kill dharok and karil together and sometimes have some left over for ahrim. Dharok should always be prayed against, one mistake at sidestepping and he could kill you in 1-2 hits
  16. As far as getting 65 smithing, I would reccomend making the best armour you can do at your level, using either the golden hammer (because you can wield it) or a sacred clay hammer. Thieving, you can do sorceress garden, rogue's den, thieving guid, master farmer, a combination of those is how I got my thieving level, and pyramid plunder is probably the fastest (ask anyone with 99). Thanks for the help. I figured making armor would be the best. I will probably give the guild a try, sounds like a good way to train
  17. I need to get 65 smithing and 66 thieving to finish a couple quest. What would be the fastest ways to obtain these levels?
  18. Thats a really good idea, I never thought of deflecting. I may try to go for a fire cape now
  19. Supposedly it gets a lot faster once you hit 70. Even 50 is better since you can have 2 binds
  20. Thanks for all the info, I never really thought about making pots Id be using. I will try to work on getting the scroll since Ill be doing after I train dung anyways
  21. Once I finish dung I may work on getting extremes. What would be the best exp/gp, fastest, or cheapest ways to get 85 since I dont mind boosting to make. Id rather not spend too much since my cash pile is only aroune 50-60mil without selling some stuff
  22. Never once said I wanted to fight bosses. Ive done fine at dks without a yak so I hardly think thats a requirement. Never been crashed at bandos, well I havent been there recently but still. And I was asking how to train my combat skills, I never asked about what other skills were lacking. I dont see the point in spending 100+mil to train stats then have to make it all back
  23. Thank you, I dont know why everyone is so concerned with me doing bosses when I never said I wanted to. I have heard those are good so I might give them a shot. Yeah, ive been working on it with tears and pengs but im still not at a high enough level really to bother with doing it. Its still pretty slow at my level
  24. s Whats boss hunting then? Ive done gwd, dks, etc. Also I said monster hunting not boss hunting. Such as tds when I get the requirements
  25. Ive solod many bosses with stats less than what they are now For dag kings, and possibly sara gwd it is. For crowded places, 99 melees and extremes are a must Do armor zombies. I dont plan on doing crowded places, mostly just single combat places
