  1. Ditch the melee weapon, will do you more harm than good. Bring ruby and diamond bolts. Use a BOB and Kyatt like previous poster said, if that doesn't work just use Kyatt while spamming scrolls and just worry about healing. That was what I did in addition to ruby bolts and it made the fight fairly easy after you figure out what to do
  2. Just to point out, you would get faster or around the same exp at ivys and be able to pretty much completely afk it
  3. He has 61 dungeoning and isn't maxed so I doubt anyone would buy floors from him, at least consistently. And how often do people actually buy c1s? At least Ive never seen it happen C1s are probably the most expensive floor to buy, because they are the most hated as well. I guess the stackable resource update made c2 more attractive. But the main advantage of c1s is that you don't need high stats much. It's just for showing off. Alright, never really knew that. Good to know I suppose
  4. Id imagine you could just get it to the point where it starts stacking attacks then sit back and let it do the rest of the work. Of course spending 20mil just to beat Jad is a little excessive unless you plan on using it somewhere else as well.

  6. All of the others advice is really good. Id like to add that when I did it I didn't even bother with a BOB. I just used the kyatt and spammed the hell of his special attack and it was much easier than when I tried using a BOB. It took y 5-6 tries probably, you will get a hang of what to do just like with most bosses
  7. You might not need to use any potions but using will let you kill them even easier and a lot faster. Supers cost barely anything and will greatly speed up your kills. There is absolutely no reason not to use them. Extremes should be used on tougher monsters while supers should be used for training and monsters with low def.
  8. hopefully = would be great, but usually you can't have it all, so no big deal some = can be highly sub-par to decent XP/time methods About dung: I have done 1 large floor in total. That was pre all the dung updates (shortly after release). Yes, so far I haven't soloed a C6 med faster than 30 minutes. I don't WC, but I do fish since the XP is amazingly fast. On the other hand, I never take more than 25 mins to duo a C6 med (with a similarly experienced person)*. I know it is bad and coupled with my low dung level (< 80) I will not make a good member of a regular dung clan/fc. * - That increase in speed is directly related to the guardian door room clearing speed. With my stats, zerker lvl 5 I still take very long to kill mobs (many misses), even though I handpick the best style (from slash/crush) and use best magic on forg warriors or weak bosses. You need to be doing large floors, doing meds is waste of time. A large 30+ floor will give over 30k exp depending on deaths and should take 40-60 minutes depending on your team. Even doing it with randoms on w32 would be FAR better exp than trying to solo floors, trust me I have been doing this and it is a huge difference.
  9. This is the wrong place for this and hardly worth posting in the archive of wisdom quite frankly
  10. I wouldn't use it on dung yet since you wouldn't have many floors over 30 unlocked and thats where the real exp is from, at 30 it starts at 30-35k a floor depending on deaths and goes up even more. On floor 35 I got about 52k exp
  11. Thieving is one of the fastest non-combat skills in the game, like others have said you can get anywhere from 150-250k exp an hour relatively easily
  12. Most of those quest are relatively easy, should be able to knock out in a day maybe two depending on how much you play
  13. If cost is no object, buy spins like a motha[bleep]er. 1m xp+ per hour and maybe a few free divines thrown in for good measure. You can only buy like $200 in spins per day, and you'd be a moral nihilist if you did. Sad thing is I am sure their are people out there doing that, hell if I had a bunch of extra money laying around I probably would do it as well. On topic: As said chins are really about the only way you should considering training range past 70 or 75 considering any other way is going to be a LOT slower
  14. Damn, what was your set-up and inventory like? And what strategy did you use? Looks like you may have discovered something
  15. Quite underwhelming I must say, the dragon cape is pretty cool looking but provides no stats so could only use outside combat. How much did that cost you? Saw some guy on the rsof say he bought 450 spins and it took 350 to get the full set of dragon ceremonial
  16. SoA on Jad is pathetic. You have a much higher chance of killing him faster using prayer deflections (exaggeration). But really, SoA on Jad is really bad. Out of the ~ 20 Kilns ive done using SoA (thats 140 Jads) on my main, about another 8 on my Pure with Barrage (thats another 40 odd) plus 20+ Fight Caves i've found mage to be terrible. Horrible. You're better off using Melee > Ranged > Mage. Using Claws against 360's should cause no issue unless you're not using a mouse to play. Spec them from a 2-3 square distance and spam click the a spot 2-3 squares away soon as you see the exp drop. Can't mess that up, really. EDIT: Should mention that the only time i found SoA to be better than Melee vs. Jad was with the Magic Crystal from the Kiln, but sadly that's only The Kiln. do curses still work there? I thought they fixed that
  17. But thats exactly what duneoneering is, a minigame with the title "skill" tacked on to it. It in no way is a "skill", especially considering you use every skill but dungeoneering in clearing the dungeons So a skill isn't a skill because it uses other skills? Smithing isn't a skill because it requires mining to get the ores? No, dungeoneering is well thought out and has lots of uses, the use of lots of skills balances it out just so it isn't a skill which requires combat. It isnt a skill in itself, its a minigame(large one but still a game). You can't use the skill outside of the dungeons like you can every other skill. I not saying its not a good addition to the game but to say its something other than a minigame is just being in denial But thats exactly what duneoneering is, a minigame with the title "skill" tacked on to it. It in no way is a "skill", especially considering you use every skill but dungeoneering in clearing the dungeons Dungeoneering is one of the few that actually requires skill, though. Oh wow nice cape, 40000 logs right? You added 40000 logs to a bonfire? Dude you're so skillful. Minigames are fun. Runescape is a game. Whats to hate about dungeoneering being fun? I didn't say it didn't require skill, but what minigame doesn't require a bit of skill. I don't find dunegoneering fun to begin with, maybe that because I don't like playing minigames though. If they had added it as a minigame with the same rewards just reworked to balance out the time to get the rewards then I wouldn't of had a problem but adding a minigame as a skill is just weird.

  19. Damn, without soul split would it be worth it and what would the exp be like without a titan?
  20. Well considering you need 270 quest points and all of the requirements to do those quest you might as well just start doing every quest you can and work on the requirements for those. Honestly, I would say this pure would take way more time than it would be worth.
  21. How long does it take to get a deflector having someone suicide for you?
  22. It happens extremely fast, its when the screen flashes. Only last like 1-2 seconds
  23. *Main *Pker Look at all the stats and quest you would need to be a storm of armadyl pure, by the point it would be the equivalent of a main. You would have to do Ritual of the Mahjarrat which has high stat requirements along with the prerequisite While Guthix Sleeps which you need 270 quest points for. The time spent just making that pure would be a waste of time, might as well just make it a main. Not to mention the money it would cost you to get 99 magic and soul split
  24. Wouldn't bringing alch runes be beneficial and extend trips so you dont have to bank?
  25. You only need 66 if you buy a matured dwarven stout off of the GE or 67 if you buy a regular one
