  1. It's funny you say that, because you look like a pre-pubescent teen. No offense. I think to determine ones age, facial features aswell as your frame structure and height is relevant. You know, I was reading this article (a long time ago), that, people thought, the taller you are - the higher your positon/ social standing. An example from the article, cited a study, in which volunteers were asked the heights of different professions. On average, the University Professor was 4 - 5 inches taller than the high school teacher. :)
  2. Not that I didn't know this but...Runescape really was a close knit-community back "then". So many, connections... :)
  3. Watching people, silently observing htem, is indeed cause for much enjoyment. Fun...
  4. Yes Signature , :wall: :D
  5. Awwwww, CatDog, brings back the memories. The rabbit was awesome !
  6. OldJoe looks like a scary Metal viking ! [Devil horn smiley to be inserted here]
  7. [hide=Long Version]I was reading New Scientist today, and I came across a rather interesting article. In a nutshell it says, that " Your face betrays your personality" and essentially, people judge (ver commonly) on your physical attributes. These attibutes also have chemical and mental repercussions. Before you TIF'ers go - "Oh Noes, not another n00z thread," I was orignally going to scan the magazine and put it up here so you guys could all see the interesting diagrams, but I was too lazy. Here is aLINKinstead. Comments, Feedback. As an interesting spin on things, based on how TIF look, which can be seen here LINK TO REAL LIFE PICTURES INDEX What can you [wagon] about them ?[/hide] [hide=Short Version]Based on this article what do you think about these people[/hide]
  8. Lexi, again, like your other dedicated fans, I came here to say, Link's avatar looks amazing. you are awesome, may we all bask in your 16 Bit glory. Cant wait to see what mine (your piece of art) looks like.
  9. AceBeam, I have a lurking suspicion that you spend half an hour trying to think of funny one liners.
  10. Wooooot. I have 2 degrees of seperation between Zezima. Goddess, I had no idea, that you have been playing RS for that long !
  11. Bad, idea to stimulate "raw" infrastructure. Economics Lesson: Infrastructure comes under one of four factors of prodcution. These being Land, Labour, Capital and Enterprise. Capital means, produced means of production. Anything that assists that in productions of consumer goods and services. Capital, is also know as "I" in economics, is eqivalent to investment. Investment, usually creates growth after 3 or 4 economic cycles. We need direct injections of Labour, NOW.
  12. I stay because of the people that make Tip.It and Tip.It Forums the way it is. For the discussion, for the humor, and most of all - for the ingesting of inedible substances.
  13. She is saying, that weapons make it easier to commit crimes. Moreover, guns are the best weapons, and most available to commit crimes with. Also, it is easier to commit a crime with a gun, than any other weapon. (For obvious reasons)
  14. Carl Sagan, is truly one of the great cosmologists of our time. His book Cosmos, is in my opinion one of the best books ever written. We truly are an insignificant spec of nothingness. I place Sagan on par with Einstein and Feynman. You guys should really read it. Rebdragon, must you defile everything with your cynicism ?
  15. To prove my superiority, just because I want to, I will come up with a rational argument, for whatever you guys throw at me. So fire away :D
  16. :P It's ok, I still love you (platonically) You know I love these kinds of discussions. It truly is.
  17. When I was new to Runescape, I kept on looking up Quest Guides and Skill Guides. Found Tip.It was the best.
  18. I completely agree. Can't stipulate and ponder, on what could've been. Learnt that from zealous, communists that say, if China didn't invent gunpowder, essentially - we would live in a massive pile of suck. Relevant to the topic: This "potential" argument is bordering on the realms of, absudity and Christian "logic". It's basically saying people are "fated" to do things.
  19. More raw food can be produced per unit of land than meat. Cows, pigs and other animals also require vasts amounts of water. Pound for pound many vegetarian foods are better sources of this essential nutrient than meat. A 100-gram portion of meat contains only 20 grams of protein.(Another fact to consider: meat is more than 50% water by weight.) In comparison, a 100-gram portion of cheese or lentils yields 25 grams of protein, while 100 grams of soybeans yields 34 grams of protein. But although meat provides less protein, it costs much more. An average servng of steak costs around $8 - $12 , while staple ingredients for delicious vegetarian meals averaged less than 50 cents a pound. An eight-ounce container of cottage cheese costing 4 dollars provides 60% of the minimum daily requirement of protein. Becoming a vegetarian could potentially save an individual shopper at least several hundred dollars each year, thousands of dollars over the course of a lifetime. The savings to America's consumers as a whole would amount to billions of dollars annually. A significant contributor to these emissions is the agricultural idustry, mainly due to the use of large amounts of nitrogen fertilizers. Ammonium nitrate, the most ommon fertilizer is actually derived from natrual gas, a fossil fuel. One quarter of the nitrogen fertilizer used in the United States is used on corn grown as livestock feed. Of what ? Blades of grass? Makes NO SENSE WHATSOEVER. Of what people yes. Livestock yes, plants and vegetables no. Have you ever seen cattle ranches ? Strech on for many many many acres. Need an aircraft to see them all. As does every living thing. Well done, you've quoted the obvious. You sound awfully, for lack of a better term - "up youself". And patronizing.
  20. I was referring to the way one could comprehend diagrams, and understand what ever RavenGuard is spinning. Never mind the fact that, it may be true or false. But yes, I see your point.
  21. All the Darmstadtium on the Earth couldn't kill me.
  22. Thats like saying Thalidomide doesn't cause birth defects. Agree to second point. Disagree to first and third. At first: How can you say that, ( I image you are living it up in good ol' Americatown.) As a statistic, there are 98 guns for 100 Americans. Thats the highest ratio of any country. Second country is India with 2 guns for every 100 people. See the rift ? I quote: So what does cause crime ? I agree, social and cultural attitudes within a community have a large part to do with it, but can you really be so naive to believe that guns are 100% safe? Although crimes are not a by-product of guns, guns are a by-product of crime. The main problem with guns, is their easy accesibilty. You may say, taking away guns, infringes upon your "Second Amendment". To quote: Nearly 40,000 people die from accidental misfires. Some may argue that IF you learn to respect and use your gun properly, you will be out of harms way. IF you keep guns away from children, they will be safe. IF is easy to say, the thing is, human error is far too common, and people are stupid. In the right hands of a trained and educated person, guns are safe. It has been proven, statistically, that guns do lower crime. However, these fail to mention, that many people who used them, were instructed and educated about them. Please dont link me to this article ABC stands for American Broadcasting Corruption.
  23. With a well founded base in Senior Biology, it isn't too difficult to comprehend. I suggest you reevaluate your comment l0l0lpur34. I for one, can understand it well. Actually we were just looking a retrovirus plates and identifying features without labels, about 2 days ago.
