  1. Seriously. This ain't gonna do [cabbage]. Drag him to a rehab clinic - about the only thing anyone can do. It's a disease same as a drug addiction, and it's really about impossible for him to quit. Yeah, best option would be toss him out on his [wagon] and let him fend for himself. Shock will usually work. Or get him to go to AA meetings.

Wrote my critical essay, and annoyed my teacher over gmail chat.
  3. Tip it, Tip it, we seek to help and adivise. Staying up till five, reading OT we see the sun rise. Dispensir of viking pr0n and glass eating, entertainment to fill our dull lives, we are seeking. Our salvation lies in the hands of general discussion, looking towards lenin, that humorous russian. We seek to remember the board the was runescape. Now filled by noobs wanting to make a quick gp, rise faithfull Tip.it ers we must escape. Rants and debates abound our forum, surrounded by compfreak. That technological, mathematical geek. Forget ye not the mods who faithfully patroll these threads. Tripsis, das and snipersas, fear them for global mods are farspread. Victory to thee oh tip it forums We march on seeking our irkesome harlem. Victory to tip it, mother of us all We need you seeing as we have nothing better to do at all EDIT: Planning to add another 4 stanzas
  4. Finally someone else. I liked it too. Too much reality storm going on there, funny thing is I was reading Life of Pi at the same time, so I keep on having these weird moments when I think to myself, is this real ? Just plain odd.
  5. Whenever you want to construct the perfect rebuttal just pull your pants down... Anyway, I am in a debating class, and I actually quite enjoy it. Sometimes it can be difficult to make a sensible and coherent argument, but thats where your other team members and quick thinking come in. Lots of fun.
  6. Thou shalt have no other false idols before me.
  7. Enough with this madness ! C'mon people we have to map it out.

You know I love ya' I'll make you your own Island off Tip.Its sandy shores.

Excellent, yet another unhelpful, ill-natured and uncongenial "tidbit" from Rebdragon. Again, trying to entertain the OT masses with his wit and flexing his intellect with lame rhetoric and bland, dry meaningless aphorisms. A11 of j00r b4s3 4Re b3l0ng to R3b|)R4G0n. See, I can be funny too.
  10. Sorry for two different posts, but I felt that this was neccessary. I've read the comments from pages 2-21 and have started to compile differing ideas and charting a map. I will post back here in a couple of days after I'm done. Tell me what you guys think. Can I change the island structure a little ?
  11. Thats my thingy at the OP's OP. :o So we have an island picture now (can i borrow that world pic for first post?): Yeah sure, sorry a little late in responding. Been busy of late.
  12. When [rather, if]I get a fulltime job, hopefully it will involve minimal physical and mental effort. If you need money, grocery stores are not a bad option.
  13. Planning for this day my entire life.
  14. *Taps nose with index finger and smiles*
  15. For every quasi-intellectual thread out on OT I'm gonna' put: What Barihawk said. Or What Barihawk [will] say.
  16. [cabbage] was away for a few days, WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN ?! Whenever I'm away 3 or 4 more new threads are created. -.- Eh, what do you mean what happened to the laughs? They were always there. You see people stray off, way off topic and then it becomes mundane and boring, but for me OT has always been interesting to say the least. Not haha, funny but dry funny. Maybe you are the type of "haha" funny. And Azvareth and MegaKirby need to calm it down. Still funny though :D
  17. It seriously depends on what "White People" they conducted the study on. From my personal experience it has been to some extent true.

Yeah PlusOne to that. People I know really like that stuff. Besides why would a 13? year old want cologne anway? Looks (smells) unneccesary and rather ridiculous to me. In fact, I hardly even use scented deodourant.
  19. What? It did?
  20. I had the same discussion with one of my Teachers a while back. You see Communism and the Theology of Communism are very different things, if you read Animal Farm by George Orwell, you will know. Although it sounds good, rather very good in theory, it cannont function, unless in a penned utopian society. Human nature, ethics, morals and how we treat our fellow man are Communism's fallacys. Trotsky is proof of this. Greed, ambition, power are all things Marx failed to take into account. The current economic system of Communism, known as planned economys or command economys are finally realizing this. You see China becoming more and more centered. Also I don't know if you know this, but during WWII Britain actually shifted its socio-economic stance, became much more "Communist". Ofcourse the nations that actually pursue Communism, have traditionally, in the past have been despotic, and agriculture oriented systems, with several high authorotative figures up at the top of the pyramid. This is especially relevant for Russia, formely USSR. To answer the second part of your question, why a Communist is a deragatory term, you must think realisticly. Think of the Cold War, that was a time of political and idealogical upheaval where everyone was either left or right. Many politcal campaigns were also fuelled by fear, mostly in the 1960's when the Cold Wat took place. Politicans used the fear of the "Red Tide" or advancement of Communism to keep themselves in office. It doesn't take a great leap of the imagination to identify why "Commies" are "Red". [cabbage], in the time I took to write this, two people have already posted.

Have had a bad last few days, and will continue to have more. Slept at 1:00 AM after compiling my Related Texts and Thesis on Induvidualism, Identity etc... Had Chemistry Olympiad Training uptill 5:00 PM today, just got back about an hour ago from writing this. Tomorrow morning, I have morning lectures on Critical Essay Writing and then again in the afternoon Biology Olympiad Training uptill 5:15. Oh and don't let me forget my 6, yes 6, major assesments due in a few weeks. Term Mathematics Examination is next Friday.
  22. Many posters here are straying off on a tangent, the question I would like asked is: Why are Muslims and Islam generally such a violent religion today, compared with other faiths ?
  23. I frankly have never used a social networking site, and I don't see my self ever going to. I'm rather suspicious[ly alert] about these sites. Read an article that your entire life can be documented from several detailed introspections of these sites. And basing my paranoid theorys on two degrees of seperation from a Danish Forensic Computer Scientist, " It is quite simple to track down your identity from a single photo". Expanding and staying on topic, I'd rather not mix my occupation with my friends, again as Madmanpur3 mentioned its quite awkward to let these two mix. So I generally tend to stay away. Nothing wrong with posting on these forums though. Unless you get too specific. Actually I quite like forums, I believe our Senior Year has setup a web community where you can discuss assesments, etc...
  24. Awww, why'd you do that ?
