Jagex released these portals in these 5 particular areas (Taverly, Rellekka, Rimmington, Yanille, and Brimhaven) for their surrounding environments and their socioeconomic functions; this created a possible labrynth of gameplay complexity and socioeconomic ingenuity. Jagex has taken the past couple years to plan accordingly with their ingenious intentions. I personally believe jagex has helped paved the way for future MMORPGs. Afterall, Runescape is now the 3rd largest MMORPG in the world; it will influence. Here is a short guide I created as a reference for these particular socioeconomic inqueries: Taverly Get all the vials you will ever need after server updates. Also fastest way to bank eye of newts. Fastest way to Keldagrim via White Wolf Mountain. Right next to Druids for Herblore. Fastest way to recharge glories. Fastest way to do training runs on blue and black drags in Taverly Dungeon; 70 agility for blues and 82 for blacks for super efficiency. Tree patch is very close to portal. Passively gain XP in farming. Rellekka Collect snape grass on Waterbirth Island, tele back to house, and give to butler. Good way for pures to get to the beloved Rock Crabs. Short walk to slayer cave; ideal for leveling slayer. Ideal for Miscellania (if you don't have a Spirit Tree), Dagg Trips. Ideal for duo training smithing; it is a short walk to a place in Relleka where a anvil and a furnace are located next to eachother. Close to light house. Rimmington Bush patch is very close; useful when periodically checking for berries and then just give to butler. General store is right next to portal; great for training construction, prayer, etc. inside your house. I recommend to jump servs until there is no newbs around. Losing 3k a bone stinks. Fastest way to get to Entrana and Pest Control. Fastest way to bank goods from Crafting guild or the mine next to it. Yanille Bert the bucket dude is easily accessible for your free 84 buckets of sand a day. Close to a Hops patch. Closest portal to a bank. Brimhaven Passively plant Fruit Trees, or pick their contents. Fastest access to an awesome gold mine. Fastest access to Shilo Village using cart method. Ideal for high level slayers, fishers, and gem enthusiasts. Almost instant access to fish those kubawebes (sp. hehe) Fastest access to Metal Dragon Dungeon. Fastest access to agility mini-game. Close to pineapple spawns. All of these places, interwined with free prayer recharge and duo-tele-magic (ancients + portals), can help with many activities such as abyssal slaying, barrowing, dags, and kq much more cost effective.

How summoning will kill off macroers- for good.
if summoned monsters attack players, havoc if there's one that can tb somehow, or let u atk outside of wildy, barrows is dead, tb them if there's a bug and bam goes for anywhere else too, if it can attack outside wildy and not in pvp zone, everyone who cant afford it is d-e-a-d What are you on about? NPCs walk, not run. Getting away would be easy.

How summoning will kill off macroers- for good.
Na see, there's a difference between killing macroers and legit players. The only real argument here is the level 3 skillers, and why anyone cares about them, I have no idea. I'd rather better my experience for playing the game teleologically than being penalized for someone that isn't. I hope I'm not sounding arrogant in these responses

How summoning will kill off macroers- for good.
Soz man, yer missin the point, as many are :P Of course Jagex would never give anyone the power (or THAT power) to do such a thing.

guilded altar?
Some information: You CANNOT unote yer bones via servant. Use rimmington store, edgeville tele/house tele, or yanille->bank methods. You can use my house anytime. Give me a pm.

How summoning will kill off macroers- for good.
[joke] Yeah, I know. But when has jagex ever listened to or cared about a few players, let alone the masses [/joke] But in all seriousness, really, it is true. Haha.

How summoning will kill off macroers- for good.
Totally agree; however, if this direction in summonin was going to happen, I think Jagex would tinker with the balances and whatnot, and make it work. I can't relaly imagine anyhting too strong being summoned and if there is going to be greater demons and what not, I'm sure it will be thought out by Jagex.

How summoning will kill off macroers- for good.
The year is either 2001 or 2002. You choose. You see a level 3 uncerting lobs in a macroed fashion; you unleash the power of summoning to kill him. He drops dead, and you pick up 1000 certs worth 5000 lobs; alas, you are now justifiably 1 million gp richer :P This is no false tale. There used to be a bug via the restless ghost quest; a player could pick up the skull needed for the quest, drop it on the ground, and a lvl 13 or so skeleton would arise and be agressive (well, all NPCs were mostly aggressive then anyways.) Many people (that were bored, i may add :P) used this bug to kill many macroers in RSC's hey-day. Now, think about this... If summoning will be anything like it should be, it will be Random Events done right.

New Minigame GUide for the website?
Should be mentioned in the construction guide for the workshop portion. Not in the mini-game section. And also, barrows should be in general guides, not mini-game section. My opinion :P
