  1. You think pures are tough in rs2? Pures in RSC are INSANE. RSC really is a solo-pker sorta game. Except the advent of god staffs kinda made team pking a wildy massacre in higher level p2p. They also should make catching work 100 percent and not based on server ping. Then again, that randomness was part of the fun. I don't think I want to play on a cheating server though.
  2. You are right, but fire runes are rising (currently obtainable at only 8 gp per) cause obsidian items are a good way to get junk atm. And it literally takes about 3 hours to get 2.7m tokkul this way selling 50 at a time, MINIMUM. Take that into account as well. So obsidian items currently hold precendence over onyx's atm concerning what to do with tokkul; if fire runes reach 10 gp, which they probably will (because of obby item profits), that makes onyx 5.4m gp. Keep in mind it takes at least 3 hours of selling as well to get that tokkul, so really, onyx would be worth more. The next best rune to use is either mind or body. They are literally tied because bodies will sell for 4 tokkul ea at 10ish gp a rune, while minds are the standard 5 tokkul ea at 12ish gp a rune. Furies are bottomed out at the moment but shouldn't be. I think it's because fire runes price compared to fury price are matched, but fire runes are still rising due to profits with obby items, so I don't see furies being bottomed out for long at all. (ahem, buy)
  3. max trade limits are messed up too; someone just gave me a bit more than our limit. not sure how. lol
  4. imo team it with your stats.. range it as well.
  5. Attack isn't favored in pvp like strength is, albeit important, it only takes a few lucky hits to ko someone- 75 att can do it as well as 99. Obviously higher attack is more likely to do it though. It is absolutely out of the question to say that attack levels make no difference.
  6. In some strange way jagex knew this would happen. I am almost positive. Just wait it out guys; the amount of non-pk 26kers will go down as prices of everything else rises. It is just very lucrative at the moment because it IS a better money maker than most other activities at the moment, as goofy as it is. The statue prices and drops are static; that is, they will never change (albeit if Jagex doesn't change anything). Yet, the prices of everything else is and WILL continue to go up until a certain equilibrium is achieved. And why is this OK? Because people will actually start fishing sharks, gwding, etc. as they get to the point of being "worth" it. What will the prices be? No idea, gestalt comes to mind in this case and we'll have to wait and see. Anyone and their grandma can 26k, yet there is a certain utility for having high stats, or being a good boss fighter, although it isn't showing at the moment, it will. Give the market time to assimilate. Nonetheless, welcome to a new era of prices. Buy Buy Buy. Oh, and I'm definitely not in favor of this ridiculousness, but it's a good try by Jagex.
  7. Dude, training in the wilderness is so 2004 :P
  8. Sounds like they crashed- and the people offering you 70k were behind the ge demand/supply. It happens everyday and it's opportunity for merchanting.
  9. The first offer in loses precedence for the difference of offers. In your example whoever sold you that item for 52,399 sold it for that price instant(if yours was the lowest offer sitting in ge) and they received the difference from their offer to yours. As soon as you place an item or an offer for an item in the ge and it isn't sold/bought instantly, there is no chance of gp back.
  10. How do you merch it into cash? :? :?: Once again, no personal experience but I imagine it works like this. selling 100k in junk for 70k cash also if you own a god sword or other desired lending item you can lend for long periods of time and money using junk to get around trade barrier, ex lending bgs 24 hours 1mil, turns 1mil junk into 1mil cash I understood the liquefy via lending. Your way makes since to "Sell" the junk but it can only be done in small amounts. I was wondering if there is any way to do it in large amounts. You don't want to sell 100k junk for 70k cash- it isn't worth it. Instead. Use junk 2 ways with merching: 1. You can liquidate some junk by buying rising items on the street and reselling them on the street within the same update. IE. Let's say Dragonfire shield is bought out. Max ge price is 17.5. You watch the street and you see it selling for 18.5-22 with junk or whatever. You buy one with junk for 19m. You resell for 20m, or whatever. Just make sure you resell it for more than you paid. There is always some sucker. Just be patient. Whatever the difference is, is liquidation of junk. Of course, if you play less or the junk is stable (ie bottomed out), the better option is to wait for ge to update as many times as you feel is right to sell the item for a greater net of gp and THEN dispose of the junk through lending. It's really preference and instinctful insight of the item and junk being used. 2. This really isnt a way to get rid of junk, but rather to use junk as a leverage of profited items. There are always MAJORLY bought out items that may have accepted 'junk values'. If you buy these items and resell for more, you end up with the items themselves after you cycle through enough times. Here's a current example of this. Opulent tables for 2m, resell for 3m. Do this a few times, and you earned yourself a free very much rising item basically.
  11. Like others have stated- this won't last. But it is an opportunity to make a few mils or get rid of junk by selling on street.
  12. Stabbing and crushed are used, just not nearly as common as scim/whips because of their general proficiency. Rock crabs are easily hit with an obby maul with 1 attack. They're super weak to crush. Stab is useful for hide beasts- Try a Zam spear on the KBD- yes it can be done on those and its the best way to kill it.
  13. It should be noted an item that's say 40m in ge and 100m on street is not really worth 100m. It's real price, if one could be made, lies between the ge and street price as junk is not completely invaluable. Having junk is better than not having it. It can be merched into cash on world 2, or it can be liquidated through lending. It still has a value, just less than a gp.
  14. some people use junk i believe for the 75k
  15. no- you go to college to educate yourself dont waste your parents money (if applicable :P)
  16. I agree with xpx about the merchants soon moving on to 5 percent items- except party hats are rising every day, as compared to 3a. The one percent differentiation is definitely a deterent for merchants. Should be interesting to watch what happens.
  17. its true- you get xp per item not bar. at least thats my findings for mith bars.
  18. yomy hit it on the money. ge synchronized our trading system.
  19. yer all wrong- pack yak people finally are figuring out good uses and killin the initial profits
  20. If you buy your pouches off the ge, you can get about 7 or so different familars when, after trading them in, can nab you cheap shards that will only be 21 each. Wonder why pouch/scroll prices have been/are still being manually moved? It's to accommodate for the more junky fams. The lower the bottom price is (many familiars only nab you 22-25 each shard) the more likely the familiar, well, stinks. Swamp titan is a good example. People know about this; it's very easy to sell at the minimum price for these particular familiars.
  21. i second that rsc does have better gameplay. It just lacks content, but it's form is a beautiful mistake.
  22. they prolly won't do averages, probably more of a "manual" set price after analyzing the market for the item.
  23. btw, people did train with staves instead of dlong before slayer- the smart people anyways. Best xp in game upon rs2 release.
  24. it is a game that meets real social needs
  25. pretty sure if u log out it's got something to do with the delay- what i noticed anyways.
