I would change the state of some of the higher weapon stats. IE Boost the Godsword crush attack a little more. For example. the difference from slash->crush is the same difference (or worse) than the difference from slash->crush def on a player. And I would change some NPCs def styled stats more. It is true, that you only have dragons, waterfiends, aquanites, corp beast, etc. Theres a few unknowns out there that are weak to stab as well, IE walasalkis. I know there's a few more but I can't think of them atm. Yes for the most part slash prevails. Partly due to the fact most weapons are catered towards slash and partly because most NPCs actually are weaker to slash. Let's not forget also the mechanics of the game itself puts slash in a better position. The best stab/crushing weapons are 2h, similar str, same speed as whip. Yet whip is one-handed, and its slash can be boosted with a defender.

I sometimes jump the bandwagon for merched items but i'm stayin clear of mint cakes. Sure, they may rise to 1 million or more (I don't know how rare they are tbh). But their utility is rather limited, and it's going to take months for them to rise. I'd rather get my junk from more lucrative trades.

if yer high enough where att doesnt matter on a certain npc, use dfs for the 2+ str bonus if cash doesnt matter.

Pretty hilarious though; I can see vials staying this low now. I didn't like the price cap they implemented, nor do I like the buy cases of vials crap. BOBs actually had a viable way to get some money for a while(not when they were 100 ea, mind you).

Speaking of PKing, is the so called 'old wildy' on RSC or what? I'm a noob at PKing and RSC so I don't know how the system used to work :P Yes the old wildy is in RSC. To clarify myself, you need good servers because of the nature of catching people after three rounds of combat, to engage combat again. If you have a bad server, you can't follow people correctly to "catch" them again. And to top that off, you also need good ping to the server itself to engage in catching.

Yeah very true. :P I mean, ahrims doesnt totally mess yer stats up, but he usually gets 1-2 drains in on me per kill.

I like you, wanted to try barrows, because of new items etc. It's actually a pretty fun minigame. Unfortunately, extreme potions and godsword still fail for the most part. On average, the black sally will kill brothers faster than godsword and extremes. Although if you use piety, you do slice through them albeit expensive. I literally three-hit most of them. Another problem is ahrim negates extremes every trip. So that's a huge con. Your setup is really the best setup cost wise. Black Sally is EXTREMELY underrated. Not sure about maxes but from a few sample runs with it, my max is 24 with the mage. Now the max with slayer dart is 20ish, and costs about 300 gp more per cast. Also it has been reported extreme magic pots do not work with black sally. I have not tested this, I believe people though. Makes sense. Although I will argue that godsword/extremes/piety/bones2peaches (picking up bones as u run through the dungeon) is uber fast, although a lot more expensive, and you will have to bank more often.

Also, why in the world did Jagex give rsc the worst servers ever. Good servers are an integral part of pking in rsc.

I can't log in on vet servers but I still have my stats before the switch to rs2 (87 80 99). Wish I woulda stayed pure meh.

I personally don't have the experience of testing it out, but from my research either 1) it degrades even while not worn, given you already started degrading it or 2) the game rounds up to 1 min even if you just use it for specs. It is definitely one of the two.

addy heads are the best bet imo. But if you make lotsa gp do addy plates. Bolts are catching up to heads though, keep an eye on them. Once they reach 240, bolts are worth more.

Well the best way to do it once you reach 82 is to the best next available potion, cause you don't wanna be stuck with 20k of a said untradable just cause it was cheapest to make. In terms of getting to 82, it really doesn't matter, all of them are pretty close to the same gp per xp imo.
