Personally I train cooking and herblore so i dont have to buy food or pots for training and questing etc. I gather all my own resources too so theres no outlay for me except the time taken to kill/gather herbs and seconds, or fish the lobs/swordies/tuna

Yup it bugs the hell out of me too. Ive noticed it happens usually with the larger monsters for me, like moss giants and lesser demons.

I use Tip.It for the skills guides, calculators, skill planners, treasure trail guides, and the forums. I also use sals for quest guides, and on occasion, RuneHQ for any little things that Tip.It cant answer. I do prefer Tip.It over the others though.

The way I see it, Jag have used their best means to remove RWT from the game. If you remove fishing, then a good portion of free and easy food to level cooking and training has gone. Remove mining and you may as well remove Smithing too, after all, in order to smith your ores, you need to mine them first. Remove woodcutting, and hell, you may as well just remove firemaking and fletching too. To me, PK'ing and Staking are Options that you choose to take part in when you play runescape. Fishing, Woodcutting and Mining are all integral parts of the game.

It was -2 when I went out at 2.30pm this afternoon and thats in Scotland. I wish it would snow here, at least it might warm up a bit.

I take it all back, Ive had the most hated random twice since I logged into runescape this morning. Ive been kidnapped twice by evil bob, in one hour, to uncook him fish!!! Now thats one random I wouldnt miss :pray:

Im not quitting. Im not keen on the loss of being able to gift things to my friends, or give a little lost newbie some cooked food and some spare Iron armour i have hanging in my bank, but I am sure I shall find a way to adapt and incorporate the new updates into my normal game playing manner. I understand completely why JaGeX have had to implement all the hard hitting changes that they did last week, and I suspect, had it not all been announced at once, there wouldnt have been as much uproar as there was. I hope that JaGeX will take some of the excellent Ideas ive seen around and work towards a solution to the parts that everyone enjoys like gifting and so on.

I dont know if its just co-incidence or not, but for the last few days, every time I log in, I seem to get random evented within about 2 minutes of a log in. Its getting extremely annoying, because no sooner have i taken my lob pot out the bank, than Im whisked off to deal with Molly and her Psycho sister, or those annoying pinball posts. I do like the random events though. They are good for breaking monotony of certain things like fishing and fletching.

I would buy me and my friends (R.L fiance and best friend) full dragon armour LOL. Then, I might save half of whats left then play surprise a newbie with the \ lol

This has been a little annoyance of mine for a couple of weeks now. Usually, I train on the moss giants near the fishing guild, and lately, there have been people there, who reduce the mossies to like one quarter of their hp left, and then just leave them, and move onto the next one. It annoys me for several reasons. 1) It makes it impossible to train properly because you dont get as much XP as you would if you had been killing it yourself from scratch. 2) You end up finishing off a kill just for someone else to get the first option of the drop and bones. 3) It shows no respect for other players training in the same area. I wouldnt normally moan about things like this, but its been happening more and more lately and its getting to the stage now where its beyond a joke. It doesnt just happen at the Moss Giants either, it seems to happen on occasion at the Chaos Druids that drop herbs. I know I could world hop, but whats to say that there arent people doing the exact same thing on other worlds too.

Isnt pure essence required to make some of the member runes as well as use the ZMI runecrafting altar?

I started playing castle wars the other week, and had a few games without issue, then, for some reason beknowst only to the annoying species, these guys started really hating on me for being a girl! It ranged from things like - Kill the girl noob to crap like i shouldnt even be playing castle wars, Im a girl. It really annoyed me no end. In fact, it would be fair to say that it actually put me right off castle wars for a while. Just because Im a woman, it doesnt mean I'm incapable of having a decent combat level, or skilling, or doing anything else that any other man player on there can do.
