I would suggest you to remove or replace your current signature. It is over the tip.it forums's limits.. I would also suggest you to start a free signatrue shop, get some customers, get a bit more known, and then start asking cash, thats basicly the way everyone starts.. As Col said, the contoured outerglows and textured bevels dont really look good.. Try to stay away from them.. Good luck selling the sigs though, if you don't decide to open a free sig shop.. :)

Okay, so its closed for now, I will re-open it soon with a rs gp prize.. Im sure most of you have heard of Gmail.. Google own Mail service, with 1gb of space. Now, I had quite alot of invites to give away, and thats what I did.. To friends, family, etc.. Now, I got one left, and I will spend it on a signature. The signature must have these things: 1. It has to express a definite feeling. You have to see it expresses something. Pixels are allowed, but are not my favourite. If you want to score, make a brushed one ;) 2. It has to have my name on it, but it shouldn't be the focal point. 3. Either 300x120 or 300x75, Or somewhere inbetween. 4. New and original idea's score the points with me ;) If there are no entries that I like, then I will remain the right to end the competition without a winner, Only if I find a great signature, I will choose a winner. This contest will run for 2 weeks, so, It ends on 17 october. I I happen to get more Gmail Invites in the meanwhile, There will be 2 or more winners chosen. So, I would say, good luck to the people who will enter, and I expect innovative sigs ;)

New trend? Heh, no way, 'trends' don't hang around this long.. I personally dont really like pixel sigs, with some exceptions though ;) This discussion has been discussed quite some times now.. I dont really mind it if I can still make cash with my sigs when I want to ;)

Before you read my post, know that everything I am about to say has the full intent of helping you. I feel that you are one of those artists who will respond well to criticism, so I'm going to give alot of it. Here goes. Think of it as laziness I think you could do a bit of a better job making the text more readable. By making it so subtle, yet obviously there, the viewer spends way too much time trying to figure out what it says. That usually isn't a good thing. I would suggest to maybe make it darker in some places, or make the stuff around it a bit lighter. I like the detail of the front rock. But I do think that the blurring of the background mountains might have gotten just a bit out of hand. Maybe it's just me, but the background just looks real smudged... Maybe instead of blurring and smudging, try to actually rebrush it? I don't know, but I think you could work on that if you wanted to. The dragon is pretty cool. Could use a highlight or two, but other than that, it's pretty small so I can't really say much about it. I think it would be cool to use more ambient lighting. Maybe use contrasting colors to achieve highlights and shadows, rather than just a monotone feel.. The real decision you need to make, is to pick your emphasis. At first, it seems the dragon. But with the way the focus is, it seems like it's the rock... but I can't read the rock.... Get my drift? I guess that's mainly all I have to say. Overall, good job. Lot's of potential here, hope some of this helped you out. If not, sorry? :lol: Good stuff. I was happy with it, the minute I made it, but after staring at it for a while, it seemed not too well done.. If the viewer spends much time finding out what the text says, it does mean that they remember the sig, as they have looked at it for quite a while ;) Although, perhaps not really, because they are focussing on the text, not really on the image.. So.. Yeah, Im going to redo the text :) The background is perhaps a bit too blurry, I think I overdid the depth-effect a bit.. I'll keep it this way right now, perhaps I will change it after staring at the next version for a while. I was already experimenting with some more interesting colours, as that was mentioned before, I probably will get a bit more 'life' in it, perhaps with complementary colours. By working on the colours, I will probably also rebrush the dragon, with more colours, more depth and more details. I will make it stand out a bit, so the focal point would be the dragon. Thanks :) I dont think red-is colours would fit this signature, although it would have expressed the feeling a bit better, I agree with that.. El Eazy, how much would you be willing to pay for this? phuzi0n13x, Im sorry, free sigs aint my thing, and what would I do with 2 signatures? If I find some time and inspiration to make one, I might do it, but its highly unlikely, sorry.. :(

Devart has some great artists, can't argue with that.. ;) Very talented drawers, painters, photographers, digital artists etc.. ;)

Couldnt agree more.. Abstract always a messy laod of stuff? Heh, no way.. I've seen alot of clear, clean and simple abstract images.. 'Abstract' is a wide discription.. Alot of things can be called abstract.. Onto the art.. Well, I know you were aiming for the monotone look, and I must say, you did that quite well..Althought it isnt really my taste, bt if that was what you were going for, then you did a god job. I wouldnt say it was made with a 3d program If I didnt know who it was made, even if I didnt know anything about art.. It looks like an eye with alot of stuff around it, its not too clear what it is.. Well, I could say that you did a good job, as you were going for something like this, but I dont really like it, but thats personal taste.. Dont take this too negative, alright?

Your sigs look nice, although, I had to post >.< The second sample you posted, doesnt look too realistic.. The transition from beach to green to snow goes too fast.. Think of it, would an island with a beach go into the snowy mountains that fast? Either the shore/beach is too big, or the snow doesnt belong there ;) Had to get that off me :P The rest look nice though :) Keep up the good work
