It's a good idea, but you know they'll just come up with new programs to combat this

It's probly programmed to realize starred words and then it goes through and rereads the starred words to see if they are mistaken or not. I'm confused here, why don't they just star out the words in game if they can recognise the bad words in the first place? I know about the Alt codes, but it seems ludicrous that they can still recognise it and yet not take the simple option. Am I missing something here? They do star out the words in game... :-s

I think rares are a necessity to the game. I mean people don't like the fact that people work for them by merchanting instead of skilling, but to the person merchanting they are working hard and accomplishing something that to them would be a 99 in a skill. If it gives people satisfaction then to each his own i say.

Does it show a screenshot or something? I've never been landed with an offence, so I wouldn't know. No it doesn't....it shows what you have spoken that was bad language and thats it.

Bad language...My friend told me that he could break the filter for the b word. So I tried it once in my clan chat (no one there) and it worked. Heres my appeal btw: "Thanks for muting me at christmas time. I wish Jagex staff happy holidays and a happy new year. Thanks :)

Well I was just muted about 5 minutes ago for 14 days. That strikes off talking with friends for christmas. Oh well. Terrible time to catch an offense that I commited about 3 months ago #-o. Changed the title cause I'm feeling christmasy today, probly cause of the update.

Well while I was deleting someone who had recently bought an item from me I accidently deleted my friend under him. Problem is I had no idea who I just deleted and my friends list is too big to notice the difference. Look past the terrible photocropping and the fact that the message would be in german and look at this example. (It was made in 1 minute 37.3 seconds) Does this happen to you and do you think it's a good idea?
