Do you know anyone famous in real life? If you did, do you think that you would know if they play runescape or not. Do you think that the only people that know famous people are famous people LoL famous people have normal friends too, perhaps some of those normal friends may play runescape, perhaps they also play runescape liek their normal friends.

it's just a stupid spamming trick to get your text to look like a n*b on the chat window and its really annoying. You can always see loads of kids at catherby doing it

It doesn't really offend me although i suppose some people might be offended by it, it annoys the crap outta me more than anything. I'm not really after any help or advice, i'm having a bit of a rant. I'm not too good at ranting as might be able to tell lol

Do you report nOObs that do that stupid qp w thing in chat, if so does it have any effect or do Jagex allow it? I class it as both spam and bad language and its really annoying when your tryin to have a convo! Just want your take on it before i start reporting everyone i see doing it

I'm always surprised at how people on forums take everything so literally. I Don't want jagex to change runescape, i don't want to submit any official suggestions, all i want it to share my thoughts and get other peoples point of view. That's what forums are for. For you to be directing me to the officail runesacape forum, seems like you are trying to insult my intelligance I think you insulted you "intelligance" all by yourself there Its Intelligence and he DID NOT direct you to RSOF he directed you the tip.it bugs & suggestion forum. And to an extent he has a valid point, even if you only want this discussed it is a suggestion of something that could be done to the game. A Typo ... LoL ... every human even the most intelligent make mistakes. I apoligise for postng in the wrong place though, maybe a mod could move it for me

To the people who are posting trying to protect famous ppl ... I don't actually want anyone to go giving out famous peoples rs usernames, if for instance i knew that Madonna played runescape, i could easily say this here with no fear of her ever getting hounded by fans, how would you know which runescape user i was referring to? oh btw for anyone who aint too bright, i don't actually know madonna on runescape LoL in fact i dont really know anyone famous Everyone else, thnx for your replies, very interesting

I wasn't trying to start a debate on whether or not there are famous people on runescape, and if there are whether we should know about their existence. I just simply wanted to know if anyone does know of any famous ppl. It doesn't even have to be serious replies, see if you can come up with something interesting or funny

I'm pretty new to runescape so i haven't really killed anything tough yet. I've killed the black knight titan and i've beaten elvarg. I've been getting my combat lvl up whilst doing slayer quests to get ready before i seek out tougher enemies. What's your best battle so far, it doesn't have to be your hardest battle, or your most profitable. It has to be what you consider to be the best battle you've had. Maybe you managed to get away with a massive loot, or maybe you only just escaped with your life.

Im sure i saw david attenboroughh in the wilderness observing the mating rituals of the king black dragon :lol:

I was just wondering about all the different kinds of people that play runescape. I wonder if any of them are famous/important in real life. I wonder if there are any actors, singers or band members etc that come to runescape to get away from the stresses of being famous. Do any of you know/suspect or are friends with anyone thats famous?

I think tabbed banking is the way to go especially if they implement an "All" tab like the other guy said. On the armour and weapons tabs they could have a button at the bottom allowing you to group items automatically too. It could group as sets i.e. All iron, steel, mith, rune, dragon would be automatcially grouped together with one click. You could also choose to sort (asc, desc) alphabetically, by value, or by highest stat modifier.

The age itself doesn't matter. It wouldnt be enforced, any age could still get into the worlds, just as anyone can get into the law running world but they don't have to run laws if they dont want to. It would give people a choice, if you want to be in a world with mostly older people, then you could. But there would still be some younger people in there. It isn't an issue for most people, but as i play runescape with my son and my daughter, sometimes it's easy for people to realise that im over 18 because i have children that can read and write. this often leads to me being publicly slandered as being a pedophile. Sometimes in front of my children. It makes me so angry, i've reported quite a few people. It's surprising how many thoughtless people there are. Apart from the idiots though, i think runescape is awesome, and generally most of the people i meet are sound enough. I wouldnt always use that world either, the main reason places like rs are so amazing is the diverse range of people that you can chat to while playing. But it would be nice to get away from the slanderous ones now and again.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could just switch off idiots on the filters LoL

What an awesome idea, i've only been playing for a few months so i wouldn't even qualify to get into that world, but it would be such an amazing place, i would gladly wait another year or so to get in.

Someone tried to scam me the other day, they PMd me and said i'd won 12.5 mill. I just replied ... "I don't need anymore money, i got enough" LoL

:o i didnt know that, i always thought it was the younger people that done most of the attacking, but then i've only been playing rs for about 2.5 months LoL
