I'd just like to add something ... just because there is an exchange to buy and sell stuff, this doesn't mean that everyone will only buy and sell there. Say for example ... fishing lobsters at catherby, ppl will still sell lobsters there cheaply just because they can't be bothered to make the trip to the exchange for the sake of 100 lobsters. And the ppl who want to get their cooking level up, may do that on the range next to the bank in Catherby. Why would they travel to the exchange in varrock and back just to buy lobsters off someone standing right next to them?

I Always use the one in Zanaris ... the cow is the other side of the field so i take 14 buckets from the bank to get milk then on the way back i churn them into butter and bank them and repeat

No, i had a long bone and 2 big bones in one drop. Thought i'd record it because it was the only time i ever had two big bones from them in one go :P They always drop big bones, i record that in the enemy details section ...

I've designed and written a java program that i now use to record all my kills/drops. I finished work on my "export to CSV" class today so i can now export my data into an excel spreadsheet. All the data i record get stored in a MySQL server that i have running. I can give copies to my friends and they can contribute their data directly :D Here's a pic

You could export the data as a CSV file and then open it in notepad and copy and paste the data into the forum then anyone can copy the data and import into a spreasheet

Very, very highly doubtful. Seriously, that would take more programming than Jagex really would ever feel like doing, and would be truly pointless. I think for this project you probably need to kill fire giants. It's pointless to compare drops of fire giants to spiritual mage drops. This is a section of a Java programming book: When you create a random number generator, it initializes its sequence from a value called its "seed". The parameterless constructor for Random uses the current time as a seed, which is usually as good a seed as any other. However, the time is only measured to a resolution of 1 millisecond, so if you create two random number generators within one millisecond of each other, they will both generate exactly the same sequence of numbers. As you can see most random number generators use the current time as a seed for generating its randomness, so the time of day could well govern what drops appear. It all depends on what type of random generator that Jagex used. Also whats to say that the ring of wealth effects drops differently for different monsters. Some mosters drop less rare items than others... does this increase the chances of a rare drop or decrease it? Also whats to say that something you think is a classed as a rare drop, isn't actually gonna be chosen as rare in that elusive second roll of the dice.

I'm gonna record all my kills from now on for each monster. It will give me a better understanding of what creatures drop what items the most. If it happens to help others too, then all the better :P

I just killed 100 Harpie Bug Swarms without the Ring of Wealth and recorded every drop and the order in which they came. I manged to get a level 2 clue scroll :D Let me know if you want the data i recorded and i'll post it here for you. I'm slamming into the slayer assignments, and recording all the drops, if you want i can keep you posted of my progress

Whats the most amount of seperate items a monster can drop at one time. Say for example a cow drops bones, cowhide, and meat. Thats 3 seperate drops at a time. Do any monsters drop 4 or more seperate items in one go? Cheers

Did you know that computers are incapable of creating anyting completely random? I don't think the "random" events are random. They are triggered events that are fired when you are performing certain actions.

My favourite skill at the moment is Slayer, but it changes from week to week. I also like fishing/cooking if there's a good bunch of people to talk to. Mining/Smithin is another favourite of mine.

Yeah sometimes the random events are a pain in the ****, but then sometimes they are a godsend, like the coffin sorting event, its brilliant if your collecting herbs, you can deposit your stuff and then return to collecting herbs, saves a bank trip :D

Yeah only had 2 left to kill LoL they aint hard enemies and i had lobsters on me, just thought i'd finish my slayer assignment on my way past draynor manor. I didn't die because they were a tougher enemy, i died because my browser decided to throw a wobbler.

I was just taking out killerwatts for my slayer assignment and i noticed a pile of someones stuff on the floor. I ran over to grab some but i only managed to grab 1 thing, a set of adamant legs. The guy made his way back to get his stuff, so i gave him the legs. He said he had had 2 mil on him and had lost full adamant. I explained i didnt get any other stuff, he didnt believe me. I told him i only had 44 coins on me. He then proceeded to try and get me to buy 15 sharks off him lol. Obviously he didnt believe me. When we'd finished talking i went to kill another kw and my browser crashed. I logged back in as quickly as i could, but i was back in fally and i'd lost my ring of wealth. I still had my g maul, rune platebody and ammy of glory. So i quickly tele'd to draynor and ran back up to the top of the manor. But alas, the guy had made off with all my stuff. He would have known that i wasn't lying about his stuff because he woulda picked up my 44 coins with my ring of wealth. Well my rant is this ..... i'm keeping everything i find from now on!!!

if you are going to treat England Wales etc the same wasy as the use then why not have it under one big name of Europe with includes France Germany etc., if not then put England wales etc seporate as they are not one big country sophie, i think he is folowing whats accepted internationaly as a contry, United States, United Kingdomes, not much difrent. will EU conntrys are much diferent in, speach and culture. Borders seperate countries not the differences in culture/speech.

Do you know anyone famous in real life? If you did, do you think that you would know if they play runescape or not. Do you think that the only people that know famous people are famous people LoL famous people have normal friends too, perhaps some of those normal friends may play runescape, perhaps they also play runescape liek their normal friends. Runescape is a kids' game. Do you think someone with tens of millions who's wrapped up in the "glamor scene" would have time/be interested in playing an online game that is geared at children? Are there no famous ppl aged of 13-16? Are famous ppl not human? do they not long for the same entertainment as the rest of us?

haha that's funny. I bought a load of seeds once for 50k, at the time i wasn't even sure how much they were worth. I had just started working on my farming skill so i thought it might be useful to have a load of seeds ready. The guy accepted the offer for 50k, he couldn't have known what ranrrs were worth, there were about 20 of them plus loads of other seeds. When i found out later what ranrrs were worth i couldn't believe it.
