  1. By "experience I seem to have", do you mean my low skills, or my general noobish knowledge?
  2. Can the skills amulet teleport me near Al-Kharid? Can I recharge the skills amulet (without completing possibly the hardest quest in the game)? Can I buy the skills amulet for less that 100k? Maybe for you, it's good. Adapt the method how you want. But I'm sticking with glories. Thanks anyway. -------------------------- By the way, I noticed that this thread got moved. I accessed it from the General Discussion board, where I posted it, because moving apparently lingers. I don't know where it is actually. Where is it now? Why was it moved? If there's another forum more appropriate, sorry for putting it in here. I'm a forum n00b.

  4. I'm not buying max price: I'm OFFERING max price, and Jagex gives me a partial refund (the seller was asking for less). For some reason, the effect works both ways; I get extra money selling too. I'm checking the prices that I get for (not the ones that are up there) right now. I'll edit when I have the values. Buy green d-hide at: -------------Offer 1763 each -------------Real Buy at 1680 each Tanning cost: 20 gp Sell leather at: -------------Offer 1817 each -------------Real Sell at 1913 each Profit/hide: -------------Offer 34 each -------------Real Deal at 213 each If you buy ~500 a run, you might be able to get 100k a run, and thus 200k per glory recharging. I don't have a decent stopwatch, so I couldn't tell how fast my runs are. Also, my current balance limits me to 30/run. (I'm poor ) This is for green dragon hides. I don't know how profitable the other hides are; I'll try to measure them tomorrow. Sorry.
  5. I just stumbled upon a method for making money, using the Grand Exchange and an amulet of glory. It makes money fairly fast, by my standards, but I am poor, and I dunno how fast "fast" is. Here's the method: Required: 1 amulet of glory (if you have more, you don't have to recharge as often, but only 1 is required) At least 9k (for 6 green dragonhides, enough to start out) 21 Agility (I think it's 21: you have to be able to take the shortcut NW of the Grand Exchange) Hero's Quest (see entry below) A method getting to the Hero's Guild moderately fast -- be it house tele (Taverley), games necklace, or other -- otherwise, you can't use this long-term Steps: 1. In the Grand Exchange, buy dragonhides, NOT d-leather. Whatever color you want (if the price thing still works -- check the bottom for details), as many as you want. I do it in quantities of ~30, green, to be safe. --------1a. Offer the most price: you probably won't have to pay that much, it's faster this way, and even if you do pay the most, you still make a profit. 2. Glory to Al-Kharid. 3. Bank running to the tanner, tan all the dragonhides. 4. Glory to Edgeville. Run east to the Exchange. 5. Sell all the d-leather. Offer the least price: you'll probably get more, it's faster this way, and even if you do get the least and pay the most, you'll still make a profit. 6. Lather, rinse, repeat. For green dragonhide/leather, the max buy price of dragonhide is less than the min price of leather. THIS IS A MUST. Check the prices for your preferred color. Can anyone with a good sense of timing estimate the gp/hour rates? (Don't do it for an hour, that would waste time. Do it for 10 minutes and multiply by six or something). Is it any good? Thanks.
  6. Trading normally is easily tracked. In the wilderness, you can do a workaround, which takes one extra step to track: Buyer kills the seller, who drops 1 mill and is level 3.
  7. 1. To those who hate the updates: At least it'll all be over after Summoning. All the big changes, anyway. You probably don't care, because you're leaving anyway, but just something that people haven't noticed enough. 2. World 66 Laws? As far as I know, 27 * 270 > 3000. :wall:
  8. RSC Kamikaze! Doesn't Retribution deal damage to all enemies around, not just the one who killed you? This would be perfect for a suicide bomber in RSC. Don't kamikaze until you're half-health, and almost out of prayer (from melee protect). It would be a waste otherwise. I'll try to come, and probably will die three seconds in, before I can even turn on Retribution. :?
  9. I agree, this was really good, but he deleted a few posts that, yeah, maybe were partially spam, but they also had some on-topic things in them. Maybe those should have been left there. But then again, that would have made the 2 hours of work 4 hours, and no spam + some content is better than LOADS OF SPAM + quite a bit of content. ---------------- Anyway, to get on-topic, I find this update a bit annoying. There's no way to buy mind runes from other players, chaos/death runes are too expensive, and crafting minds is just impossible. So I had to buy minds from the shop, and that wasn't a problem, as barely anyone would buy them, so the stock was good enough. The price would increase, sure, but by the time it got to 10gp each, I'd bought ~500 and switching worlds every 500 minds was fine. But now they cost 17 gp each, and I can't train mage. GAH! Anyone know AFFORDABLE mage training methods for F2P, that isn't insanely slow for 60-70ish levels? Somehow I don't think there are any anymore.
  10. My opinions and preferences: I mostly use Tip.it and Salmoneus. Tip.it has better quality most of the time, but Salmoneus generally has more pictures, a more detailed description of the storyline (for quest guides), and a few dead useful sets of guides, such as the Area/City Guides and the Skill Help Guides. And every once in a while, I visit RuneHQ, just because their Item Database has been around for the longest, and thus has those nobody-cares-about items that I need every once in a while, as well as the fact that they list what monsters drop certain items. I would use Tip,it completely if they had these: 1. In the item database, links to the monsters that drop the item. 2. Guides about a specific area. 3. Guides on training a specific skill. 4. More pictures/storyline in the quest guides. But it's great as it is. :
