Because introducing (legitimate) gambling into the game might be against some countries' laws. That's also the reason for their 'SoF is not gambling because you always win something'-stance.

So Bandos Chesplate and Tassets now give the exact same armour/LP bonus as Torag's, and it has no strength bonus (or 'critical damage' as it's called in the Beta)? Doesn't that make it kind of... useless?

No, fights are much longer now. Even if you're spamming abilities. AFK'ing for slayer is pretty much no option anymore, it just takes way to long.

It seems to me that it takes a lot longer now to kill most monsters? One-hitting weak ones (like before the combat update) seems to be impossible now. Using full virtus and water surge (their weakness), it still takes me quite a while to get trough the first waves of the fire caves.

There are the ranks if you're interested in a trimmed comp cape. Hmm, trimmed comp cape isn't exactly in my reach yet =P And for as far as i know the staves also aren't that great...

Well typical of me to do things the hard way. :-P For the medium/hard companions the main source of xp is the dmg they deal: doing events will be a minor source of xp. So for those it makes sense to let them deal as much dmg/hour as possible. Companions are slow is switching target between kills so more difficult targets will be better for the easy/medium companions. So if i would be training Smiddi Ryak for example, the best way to lvl her would be to rush trough the easy paths? As that would result in the most events/hour?

Right now i'm levelling the two hard ones (i already have the other four at lvl 99), but progress is very slow... Does anybody know wat events give the best exp? For example, would it be better to do a medium combat event over a hard non-combat event?

You can only rebuild the statue once a week, so collecting the whole statue will take 30 weeks = more than 7 months.

It seems somewhat strange to me that you would never want childeren, but it's your live so... Strange, but certainly not selfish IMO.

So... in what server is the Golden Horde going to be established? These resets are really annoying... OK, it's a beta, it's logical, but its just annoying that every time i return from school thinking: 'Man i'm going to have so much resources now,' and then find out that the game has been reset again...
