noob is the shortened form of newbie. since people didn't want to keep saying newbie...they shortened it to newb, but that doesn't look right and if you say it instead of right it, it sounds like noob. Hence, NOOB, meaning newbie, meaning new player. They are not two different words. There is no great mystery. Of course, you can choose it to mean whatever you want it to mean, but that doesn't change the actual meaning.

A good point that I've felt needed to be addressed in print for a long time, but I still make sure I play games all that I can. Does that make me apathetic or ignorant or both?

I don't know if this has been addressed, but I was going through the music list (I'm F2P) and found some items in need of correction. I'm sorry, but I have no idea where they are activated. First, there is no listing for Grimly Fiendish. Second, I'm F2P (as previously stated), but Knightmare is listed as P2P only. I'm not sure if there are more new songs (like Grimly Fiendish), but I noticed that one since I had it and your guide didn't have it listed. Just FYI.

I found out about RuneScape from searching on Google, plus a reference on the MTV website. I never heard of MiniClip.

I'd settle for them expanding the player inventory slots to a number like 30 (5 colums of 6 rows?) and making a sell all thing for the banks like they have bank all for the banks (or a "sell all at this price" option instead of reducing the buy from the store...in real life you could barter with the guy and say that you have a note for one thousand logs or something, so he'll buy all for 5 gp each, so you know exactly what you would get from the sale).

I was wondering if people would like to share tips on saving time in the RuneScape universe....everything from shortcuts to tips like this one: When selling items, convert them to note form in the bank and sell the notes. It should be the same price, but while you can only carry 28 "items" in the slots, you can carry an infinite (?) number of notes, as they are stackable. Or this one: When mining for a certain ore, get as many open slots in your inventory as possible. Even your pickaxe can be wielded as a weapon, so that should save you time, since even one less item in your inventory multiplied out by however many trips you have to make can save you a bunch of trips. Those are simple ones, I know, but maybe the veterans out there can come up with some real time saving tips.
