What I've never understood about paintball/airsoft/water guns is how you decide a winner. Unless the whole point of them is to just shoot each other for several hours then compare bruises afterwards. In which case, sounds boring. Edit: Well, actually, not all that boring I suppose, but a little frustrating after a while.- Today...

So what kind of meat do you people eat if not beef or pork. I could not eat chicken that often, I barely like it as is, and I barely eat chicken. Turkey even more so. Anything else and you're getting exotic. I suppose I'm probably biased though, since I live in Nebraska and we raise a good portion of the cows eaten in America. Probably similar portions of pigs too, though not as many I suppose.- Avatar: The Legend of Korra
There are a couple issues with that statement. LoK isn't an anime. It's a western cartoon, made in America. It's anime styled, so that's a common misconception. All of Asia, including Japan, has spring at the same time as we do. Seasons are different based on North/South hemispheres, not East/West.- Today...
Well... not quite. Sarge has likely got cancer, and won't make it much longer. We're trying to get his appetite back so he'll eat something and keep it down, see how that does. He's pretty miserable atm though. We took him to the park and let him swim, and now he won't even stand up. He lays on his bad leg so it hurts, then lays on it more because he doesn't want to get up. Dumb dog. Just been sitting with him for a while, not.much else I can do for him. :/- Today...

Back when we were 11, my friend got a pirated copy of Pokemon Silver which was basically a poorly-translated version of the Japanese game. It scarred him when he got into the Radio Tower and a Team Rocket grunt told him "[bleep] you kid!" Once, my friend saw a pirate on a video game he got by violently sexing another person. He is now a perfect angel in every way. the sex was consensual okay shut up- Today...
So, today. Woke up at noon feeling kind of groggy, but whatever. Found out about DOMA being overturned, etc., was like, "yeah!" then decided to go on with my plans for the day, namely to get a Nintendo Points card so I had something to do the rest of this week. So I borrow my dad's truck, and the radio was on some conservative station, playing (I think) Rush Limbaugh. It took approximately five seconds before he said something that made me want to scream and drive into the ditch. So I've been frustrated about that. Proceeded to drive around town looking for somewhere to get the card, and everywhere I went did not have it. I hit four stores before I found cards, because everywhere was out of stock or just didn't carry them. And KMart didn't have the 1000 point cards, so I spent an extra $10 I'll never use again. Came home, went to set up my wii, and now I can't find any of the cables for it. So yeah, 2 hours into today, and it has already been super frustrating. And considering how yesterday went - I'm just done with everything. Ugh. On top of all that, I think my collarbone is getting worse. I might actually have to go see a doctor about it. I broke it just before Christmas, but never saw anyone about it, and I don't think it set properly, because I can feel the break through my skin, and it's not replicated on the other side. So, that's great. Probably expensive and painful, and it might just put me out of detasseling for the summer. Everything I want.- It's Super Effective!
I seriously don't understand people who talk about this kind of stuff with their friends. Like, even if I weren't asexual, none of my friends have the desire to have conversations like this either. One time, one of my friends told me she gave her boyfriend a hickie, and before she was like, "This is probably TMI, but you want to hear it anyway?" like it was a big deal. Yeah, I just don't get it.- It's Super Effective!

Went to a couple of movies with friends. One girl works at the theater, so I got in free for both movies, plus a giant bowl of free popcorn, which was pretty cool. Afterwards, I drove her back, and we started talking about college next year. She's coming to Omaha next year with me, so I'll actually have a friend there, finally. I did a pretty shit job of reassuring her on whether she'll make friends and stuff, which I feel kind of bad about, but I have such a hard time saying positive things about my time at college, I guess I'm not surprised. I feel bad though. Her boyfriend's transferring too, though, plus I'm there, so I guess it won't be quite so bad. IDK. Either way, I'm glad someone I know and like will be in town.- Today...
Got it done. I love the huge difference between the lengths of the essays: 3 of the 4 are about 400 words, the fourth is almost 1000. Ugh, I hate applications to things. It's probably the most stressful thing for me ever, and I get really anxious any time I have to fill one out. That one just had the one personal question, but that still almost killed me. inb4 I wasted my week doing that shit.- Today...

- how many warning points do you have?
Well, back to boring.- how many warning points do you have?
If you win three of these, you can trade up to a tier 2 prize. What prizes are included? Three sticks of gum, and your choice of a half filled bottle of sprite, or an empty can of dr pepper. Correction: The Dr. Pepper can has .25 ounces in it, due to the last winner being a whiny little [bleep]. The .25 ounces is iced tea without ice, though. Goon warnings for all. I do not appreciate you pushing the envelope like this, and if you keep it up, you will be Goon banned. Is there an appeal process? I don't mind my TIF warnings, but I really really don't want to be goon banned.- how many warning points do you have?

Really? That surprises me. Almost as much as how you both dislike ditzyness. I think its cute. You know, I think ditsy girls are kind of funny, but I can't even imagine being in a relationship with someone like that. Like, it would get annoying after a couple of days of having to be around them.- Today...
Nah. When I went to start it, I tried to hit the clutch like 3 times before I remembered I didn't have one. I then tried to clutch when I came to my first stop sign to avoid stalling. I also tried to shift at some point, I think into fourth from what my brain figured was first, since I tried to quickly pull it back (towards what would be second), right, then back again. there was some confusion about it not moving (and also being located in the wrong spot). Still, better than thinking I was in second, since like most cars pushing is enough to move into neutral (safety feature on ice and snow). I'm also not getting a car afterall, which is just as well because it would have been valuable enough to want to insure the car itself, which combined with liability insurance was going to cost me nearly the full value of the car by the end of the year. The insurance company suggested that I might want to stick to driving things so cheap that I only carry liability insurance until my 9 years are up, and they stop robbing me. This is why you get your licanse ASAP. I was a few months late getting mine (because I put my birth certificate through the wash) which is bad enough. I feel very sorry for the people I know who are my age and still don't have a proper license. Wait, they jack up your price if you don't get a license on your 16th? Well, I feel bad for my parents now. I don't even drive.- how many warning points do you have?
Why would we be mad? That just makes you a pansy who doesn't stand up to the mods, and just lets them roll over you.- Today...
Okay, I guess I already posted about this, and I kind of told myself I wouldn't go into it anymore, but... The half of /FG/ that moved to another forum doesn't really have any trouble. They're certainly more tame than when we were all together here on TIF, even though that half contains all the biggest problem people except 321. It's not like a laissez-faire attitude is completely unworkable attitude, even on the internet. And I think a lot of what was really annoying about it was how we couldn't discuss the reasons for post removal/bans with mods as a community, more than the post removal/bans themselves. It got old wanting to know *why* someone was banned, when they themselves didn't know, and the mods wouldn't talk to us. I understand the reasoning, and did then too, probably more than the others, but that's really one of the big things that didn't sit well with us. So it wasn't just, "Oh, they're taking away our happy free time, what meanies!" It was, "No, you can't have a discussion or conversation with us about the rules in hopes of changing them, our rules are set hard and fast and you can not question them or else you'll be banned/censored." Argh, I'm sorry, I don't really want to bring this up again and start another argument about it, but I can't just leave it. Sorry Randox, I know you don't really want to deal with this either. - It's Super Effective!
