If you are going to use a cannon then use it on every task that you can use it on, not just the multicombat tasks. If you classify useful as being efficient then yes it is useful considering how cheap cannonballs are now.

The main rift is between people with/without skype, which is why I rarely dung with any of the higher lvl ranks. Idc about my floor times because I'm not technically a keyer anyway. Even in cannon heavy tasks, a rapier will still deal around 30% of the damage. It's not worth it.

blazer is only useful when you are trying to conserve runes, i.e you have a ccs bound. without a ccs you will never run out of runes and blitzer reduces overkill loss. I don't see how blazer would be better on dreadnaught either

What about baxe vs p2h with neck? When I get 120 I'm binding ccs, neck, and 1 of those two weapons.

You need 89 dung to get a primal baxe, just get a 2h it's generally considered to be the better weapon anyway
