  1. It sounds like there's a problem with your backlight, because you say you can still see the outline of things. When this happens, try shining a flashlight on it. If it's the backlight turning off, then you'll be able to see more of what's on the screen. To the best of my knowledge, monitors aren't very repairable, and unless you have a warranty or are an expert on monitors, don't get it repaired or attempt to repair it yourself.
  2. Nice conversation, but phail cropping :P. I really think this whole conversation is over. IP's obviously have nothing to do with this. Something like that would make the game unfair, and is a pointless addition to Runescape (there's no technical benefit). Compfreak, I did some tests with whatismyip, and my public IP does change. Of course, it's all within the same bloc (74.***) and is local. I think the only way anyone can get a non-local IP is with a proxy or a satellite connection.
  3. Tell me when and I'll be there :P
  4. guide to going f2p with a full bank (AOW discussion) Credit to Shade Bandyt. Do this before you become a nonmember.
  5. Good start. The render is a bit weird looking, though I like what you did with the text. The left side is a bit washed out... add some more color or something. Also, the render colors don't match at all with the background, and it doesn't look too good.
  6. How the bleep did that cost you 300k? It cost me probably less than 25k. Skipping the puzzle costs 200k. Obviously he was lazy. I did forget about that... But even spending 100k on it is pretty expensive. :|
  7. Thanks :P Well, it was mainly my fault, because I didn't have a good tele, and brought along my black mask and obby cape (close to 800k) when I could've just used a rune full helm. So, I'll be more careful next time, and now, I'm doing clues, spinning flax, and some other things.. Any suggestions?
  8. I was planning on spinning my flax, but wanted to make sure that bowstrings sold. Also, are crossbow strings better than bowstrings in terms of money or xp? ~Thanks
  9. Yup. -.- I just lost 1M slaying in PvP. (Black Mask, Obby Cape, Dds, Glory, and some other random stuff.) Oh well. No more PvP for me (somehow, something bad happens whenever I log onto one of those worlds). Soz, now I'm just moneymaking and doing some banked clues.
  10. Yes, that's what I meant. I think Sallaste is right. It would look as an avvy, with it's sides cut off, but right now as a sig, they're too empty.

  12. Pure, that is possible the most ftw thing I've seen all day.
  13. http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2quest_id=125 I guess try something else or add more... I don't know why that's happening.
  14. I think the render is too transparent... Make it more opaque and have it stand out a bit (just a little) more. Otherwise, nice!
  15. I use SBC, Compfreak. (It nice because their local office and switchboards, or whatever they are, are literally right down the street. We get a really fast connection, and it's cheap : ) I'm not sure what you mean by "Local IP", but when I go into ipconfig, or look at the "you last connected from:... In Runescape, my IP changes after I powercycle.
  16. That sounds good to me, but wait until you get some more advice.
  17. Sorry, I can't really help you there with chincompas, because I personally prefer bronze knives at Yaks for range training. I'd like to say, however, that you don't need to bump your posts every 20 minutes. This forum is very active, but not very large. Just leave it, and someone will answer your questions
  18. It's also the best bank for willows.
  19. Erm... I don't know if this is unusual, but all I have to do is powercycle my router (unplug it, let it sit, and plug it back in) and I get a shiny, brand new IP. Never fails : How do you get your connection? There should be a modem connected to your router connected to your computer. Restart your router and your computer gets a new IP on your personal network, but your modem (and public) IP address should still be same until your ISP decides to give you a new one from their bloc. I have a DSL router (wireless) that plugs into a phone jack. I connect directly from that, and I do actually get a new public IP.

  21. Thanks. I wish Jimmy would join, but I don't think he ever will  Jimmy! Join P2P! It's amazing, and completely worth it! About Me - I finished Royal Trouble, and dumped 1.4M into MTK (leaving me with 100k). I'll post what I get in 2 weeks or so.
  22. Gratz on the Range level (it's niice!).
