  1. Yeah, that was me about the whole computer. Thanks, I'll probably get the Q6600.
  2. I'm buying a Dell, and have these two processor options: Intel® Core 2 Quad processor Q6600 - 65nm construction, 8Mb L2 cache, 2.4Ghz clock speed, and a front side bus speed of 1066Mhz Intel® Core 2 Quad processor Q9300 - 45nm construction, 6Mb L2 cache, 2.5Ghz clock speed, and a front side bus speed of 1333Mhz The upgrade from the 6600 to the 9300 is $150. To me, the differences seem minimal. What am I getting for that extra $150? Is it worth it to upgrade? All help and advice is greatly appreciated.
  3. Thanks :) I'm actually not in control of the submission of these (Tip.It is), all I do is collect them. The Tal Shiar Alliance is a pretty big rs clan.
  4. Merged the two topics together. Hopefully there wont be too much confusion. Thanks. : To the person who wanted to figure out the distance of their route, go here
  5. All the time
  6. That's a really nice mile time, considering that you don't train as a runner.
  7. Occasionally, the G.O.P will glitch on its official world, nobody will be able to play. -.- I've never had this happen on any other world.
  8. YES Awsome idea, I'd love this.
  9. That must have stunk during the hurricane...
  10. Wow :? Thanks a lot, I had no idea about some of that stuff. Now it seems I basically need too build a new pc.. I was actually considering buying a premade computer, and still might. I'll need to think about this. The processor that you described wasn't linked... Would you mind giving me a link? Thanks again, that was a big help.
  11. Hmm.. a little off topic, but what's the best place you've ever ran? Personally, I like Detweiller Park, the home of the Illinois state finals
  12. 4 x 1 Gb because it's around $20 cheaper  I'm not a huge gamer, and any GeForce 8 series is a lot better than what I had  (had a GeForce 5, and then it burned out and left me with an integrated GeForce 3) And yes, I'm embarrased that I still had that piece of junk  I'm doing is upgrading my old computer, and all of the parts you listed are compatible and work with the new hardware I'm planning on buying
  13. This is my tentative setup right now. The motherboard bundle is a nice deal, because that mother board alone is only $10 or $20 less than the bundle with the processor. Right now, I'm not buying a graphics card, so I'm just going to use the integrated graphics. It's got a very nice card - NVidia GeForce 8 series, which should be good for me. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductCo ... =10&page=1 - $170 combo. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... ngston%204 - $82
  14. Nice setup, I'm seriously considering that : . About the motherboard, can I install another graphics card even though it has integrated graphics? Also, are there any boards that have the same performance without the integrated graphics (yes, I know I'm cheap) Thanks alot
  15. Shin splints... :? Hate those.
  16. I'll support, as long as it would be the same size. Having the bar the size of your little animation would be very annoying.
  17. Hmm... I probably won't run against you unless we both make it to regionals. :( Dupage county conference, Glenbard East.
  18. I really don't care about the processor brand, as long as it's reliable. I'd like around a 2Ghz dual core, with 2Gb of ram. I also need to replace the graphics card, and I'd rather the mobo didn't have an integrated one. Integrated sound cards work for me, though. It'd be nice if I could keep it under $500.

This game's text based, but it's kinda fun. Crime Factory Not really a MMORPG yet, but it's got a good following.
  20. Good luck! I always have way more fun running with a friend or a team. It's just easier to run with someone else. :      What conference and high school do you run for? I might have run against you.
  21. Sorry about the confusion.... I'm also planning on buying a new cpu and some new memory. I guess the only things I planned on keeping were the hard drives and the case. The case I have has loads of space, and as far as I know, the motherboard is only screwed in.
  22. I really like newegg, the site that you linked me to. I've been looking around, and I think I'll find something good. Thanks :
