  1. Very nice ideas, but I think we should hold off giving suggestions until the new update. They might do some of your suggestions, or you might be able to expand on one of their new concepts. Just FYI- You said that tinder could be used to keep the fire going longer. Tinder is used to refer to the extremely small things you use to start a fire- grass, pine needles, and the like. There's no way this could keep a fire going. Perhaps you could use a log with an existing fire to keep it going?
  2. I think the actual idea of betting is nice. Perhaps you could implement an expanded betting suggestion for the Burthorpe Games Room. However, putting modern card games into RS just doesn't seem like a good idea.
  3. Awsome idea, and extremely well thought-out. One question: will the rewards be tradeable? The last thing we need is another group of "super items"; all extremely powerful items that are difficult to get, but can be bought out by a rich player.. (note: this is my point of view as a relatively poor f2per. I'm sure many others have different opinions on this)
  4.
  5. As long as it doesn't affect your health, grades, job, and most importantly, hygiene, I think it's everyone's choice to do whatever they want with their free time. However, for example, if someone's grades are falling because they play instead of doing homework, that's a bad decision. Sadly, I would know.
  6. A couple days ago, I noticed a small addition to the Tip.it forums. At the bottom of every screen, there's a little readout that looks like this: [ Time : 0.048s | 10 Queries | GZIP : Off ]. I get what time means, but can anyone tell me what queries are, and especially what GZIP is?
  7. Some of your post was incoherent, but I think I got the general idea. I really don't think this would work, because I doubt many mods would volunteer to follow someone around. Also, following someone around isn't a good way to determine if they're a rule breaker. A mod could follow a person around for an hour before they broke a rule. Not very efficient. Also, 300 reports is a huge number. Most players are banned waay before then. Finally, teleporting between worlds is a technical impossibility. The game is not just split up into worlds to organize it; each world is its own server, with a different network adress, meaning that you would need to reload the page to switch worlds. This often takes time, which would mean even less mods want to do it. Also, instead of just teleporting, they actually have to quit playing to switch. Sorry, but I don't think much of it. :|
  8. Really? That's kinda weird... Thanks for the help
  9. Ouch... That would stink.
  10. Sounds good to me. Just have the mod who receives the third bad report send it to Jagex.
  11. Eh, personally I don't think it's that bad at all, considering how much stuff just 10 seconds of my time can get me. However, it'd be nicer if there weren't as many bugs, because the skip button doesn't always skip and I have to reload the page. :x
  12. Also if your screen is small enough, the chat window and friend chat will cover up the message.
  13. so basically he just followed you around the whole time without saying anything? The picture doesn't really explain what happened.
  14. Very nice idea :) You wanted opinions for the bad report penalties... so here goes. After they get warned to read the rules the first time- Second bad report- Warn them that next bad report will possibly get them a black mark or offense, and tell them to read rules. Third bad report- Sends that report and two other bad reports (either to a moderator or jagex) for review as an offense. :
  15. Yeah, suing goes waaay too far here in the us. -.-
  16. [/combat level showoff] Just kidding. Yes, 'tis spam. excuse me? spam? He was saying that what he wrote was spam, not what you wrote.
  17. Even though I am not personally a pmod, I believe that becoming a pmod is taking on responsibility. It's completely optional too, as Jagex doesn't force you to become one. I support, with one condition. Make it so that there are certain areas that exempt pmods from this, such as Bounty Hunter, the Fight Caves, and other high-risk areas.
  18. If you want to be a pure, don't do the quest. Pures aren't questers. Deal with it.
  19. I personally love all the new F2P updates :D , and I think members still get a lot more than us. Also, keep in mind that Jagex has increased its advertising revenue from f2pers with popups and in-game ads. Fair is fair.
  20. how often are these lists updated? I noticed that they're not always in sync with the official highscores.
  21. im a firin mah lazer
