  1. In the majority of situation when you teleport, you are already wielding something. Therefore the staff takes up an inventory slot, or forces your weapon/tool to take up an inventory slot. You misread the board. (Albeit, I'm sure it has some use somewhere, but it seems extremely limited for P2P. And it's almost useless for law rune use.) Wait, could this make telegrab decent? You'd have to telegrab nature runes in the wild... and put them... IN THE NATURE STAFF! The grand plan has been unveiled!
  2. Winnar! Hehe. Just had to do it. In regards to the staves: On average, I will lose money per 10 uses. I might save money with luck. I might lose money with luck. It can go either way. Reguardless, losing 10 gp per teleport on average is worth speeding up things, such as D Bone altering. That one bone over 20k bones will save ~800 trips, so I'm sure that the money lost while using it can be made up in the time saved. As for the nature staff... You can super heat one extra ore? That **** is just bad. If anything the Nature Staff is better for this. I can't site a specific example, but I'm fairly certain that while I was super-heating Addy Ore I was a bit angry because one more inventory space would unlock another ore. 1 Addy ore + the 6 coal = 7 ore per bar. For 4 bars, you need 28 spaces, so you'd need 2 extra spaces to make it work. =p I assume you mean with the Coal bag, in which 1 more space will allow for 1 more bar. Still, the Nature staff doesn't have as many uses (in my eyes) as the Law staff would.

  4. It is mind numbing and tedious, but most people don't realise it or feel it, me included. Because things are randomly generated it feels like a newish experience each time. It's a handy technique that a lot of games use when they want you to stay in an area. It is also an effective psychological technique. Thing is, I know this and choose to let the technique work on me because the Arcane Stream Necklace will make 99 magic around 9% faster. A few of the other rewards will be awesome for me, too. Ignorance is bliss, but also stupidity. But if it helps with the tedium, so be it.
  5. Spending x amount of tokens to get exp you can get by training the skill in x/5 hours generally isn't a good idea.
  6. If it's late in the task or it takes 3+ minutes to get back to the area I was at, I stay and finish. Otherwise, I leave and do the clue.
  7. Stream works as planned, theres a video of a guy hitting 1100's on strykewyrms with the necklace Ah. Good. Thanks for the reassurance.
  8. Any word on the Arcane Stream Necklace? It's the only item I really want, but if it doesn't boost magic damage by 15% (or 10%. Either is fine with me) then I have just wasted a week and a half of time.
  9. Yes. The rapier, while fast, isn't the best DPS in the dungeon from my experience, and that's from Primal for both.
  10. I was born in London, England then smuggled to America, I am white, and I do not wish to disclose my religion. Pip pip, tea and crumpets, my lad? Of course, of course! Eminem reference. Lack of religion reference. Further insults. Something unrelated. Something on topic. That'll do it. Don't really feel like trying to hard today. =p I only lived in England for 6 days so your stereotypes don;t really effect me. You can ware the ink off of your keys on your keyboard if you want to still continue to argue. Feel free to pm me. Uh... The "=p" was the tip-off that I wasn't being serious about the matter, so no argument exists to continue. The main point I was trying to make was "stereotyping is bad." But, with your troll tags intact, you most likely don't care, making this frivolous, but still.

  12. Hi opinion dressed as fact. How are you doing today? I've seen you a lot in this thread, but forgot to actually say hi properly. Stereotyping is fun, isn't it? What is your place of origin, ethnicity, and religion so I can have fun, too? ^_^ Now, in regards to the thread: It isn't a bad thing that Jagex releases skills with holes in the content. It allows them to develop what the players en masse want (and to change what players don't like [summoning shards, familiars, etc.]). This leads to better success of the skill in question. Some people might not agree with the method, but it is a very good method from both a business and a customer satisfaction perspective. If you want changes, you can post on the RSOF. Make a big enough noise and you'll get noticed, even if it doesn't look like it at first.
  13. WHEN THEY WERE RELEASED. i agree, summoning is now indispensable. Arguing the usefulness of a skill(s) on release is like arguing about the semantics of cheese. At least the one on cheese would be interesting when we got to pepperjack.
  14. You're kidding, right? Let's just take one example: the penance trident. Some Jagex developer who obviously never plays RS more than he has to, creates this utterly useless item. A whole bunch of players complain that it is useless for maging. They respond by boosting its melee stats. Please explain that to me? It's just one of many, many examples. You act as if Jagex doesn't listen to their players at all.
  15. Was that picture really necessary? Now it just looks like you're trolling.
  16. I have one thing to say to the bolded: Summoning.
  17. Hey look. An opinion presented as a fact. Who would have though...
  18. Is that 110+ strength bonus actually intended, or is it a bug? I sure hope not, but the other attack stats given are +11; no where near the ballpark of 110 and making it very plausible it was just a type. /killjoy I don't see a reason for it not to be a real bonus seeing as one of the Melee shields provides bonuses to attack above 50, none of which end in 0.
  19. Free prayer exp at the cost of 1 inventory spot? Or more efficient pray exp on slayer tasks at the cost of 1 inventory space? I'd take it.
  20. The cap will not be raised. Jagex has already stated this with a post on the RSOF. Even if it was, would it matter? 120 will be the new 99. With exp being as fast as it is today, a 120 would be comparable to a 99 5 or more years ago.
  21. Wat. I don't get it. I'm guessing the rock vein was behind the chest. Also one time in that collapsed rock tunnel room I got a key spawn inside a wall. Fortunately stuff like this doesn't happen all that often, just a few glitches that haven't quite been weeded out. I see no issue since the wall you can mine for a rock is on the North side of that room. (see minimap) The Key thing. Now that is an issue lol.
  22. I agree. I've read posts about people explaining it, but I really want to know how to maximize it. http://www.runescape.com/kbase/guid/dungeoneering_faq#prestige That helped me understand it greatly. It works like this: Your prestige is the number of different floors you've done. Once you reset, your current prestige is frozen. (If you had 15 and reset, it stays 15 even on the first floor you complete) If you get more then the frozen prestige, it becomes your new prestige. If you reset with the new prestige, it takes the place of the old frozen prestige. (Your old frozen prestige is 15. You clear 16 floors, making it 16. You reset and your frozen prestige becomes 16) *from what I've gathered* I THINK in order to get prestige exp for completing a level, the prestige has to be one less than a level. So for your picture you'd have to beat level 7 to get the prestige. That would then bump your prestige to 8. From there you'd have to beat 8 to get prestige exp, and so on. Resetting sets your prestige to 0 so you get the exp from level 1 again. Oh so if I beat them all but still can't progress to the next floor I should reset it before I go back and do them again? But if I do this and level at floor like 4 would my prestige be 4 when I go on to floor 7 or would it be back to 6? You don't get points for prestige if you have already completed a floor once before. The pictured completed their second run of floor 6, so no prestige bonus.
  23. An intelligent voice of dissent is a lot more worthy than yet another dogpiling twit. If you disagree with her, then reply to what she says in a rational way, rather than just spewing insults. I give what I receive.
  24. Go ahead and continue posting, Libs. You'll just continue being a worthless poster that most people will disregard. Also, what is your Dungeoneering level? Someone else brought it up and I'd also like to know. I'd put money on it being less then 10.
  25. The song you made was immature and childish. It was unnecessary and contributed nothing to the thread. Your critisism of this update falls of deaf ears not only because of that little "song," but because you have a history of trolling any update you can. Playing devil's advocate and saying that you don't like an update is fine. Making up a song then saying, "...even if you don't agree with the song, it's not entirely my opnion" when it is your own opinion, then saying an update "sucks" without going into any real detail is trolling.
