  1. RC is obviously best if you have 91 RC... but even at fast paced RCing with runners you're going to top out at 20-25k xp an hour. That's pretty slow compared to almost every other skill. So if you want to have runners from 54 to 91 RC (W66LC or whatever), you'd spend about 287 hours RCing, and need to buy up 605k worth of rune essence. This is quite an expensive and time consuming feat... but it can be done. If this is too costly to buy all the essence, one can spend about 1 hour making natures for every 3-4 hours they spend making laws and it will pay for the essence. This take a little more time, but it is comparable to buying all the ess and having runners when you consider profits. More time breaking even vs time recovering GP after getting 91 -- not much difference. Either way, with just 44 RC you can get about 300k gp an hour if you don't get distracted too much, and there are several other reasonably attainable skills that can make about the same rate of GP. There are even some skills (and combinations of skills) that can average you around 600k gp an hour. Guess you have to pick if you want XP with money, or just the money, and which way is fastest.
  2. *was expecting something worth reading, just to find the same old stuff* Not your best stuff r2
  3. LOL, erm people think these spells stink but they dont...i was poisoned once, nothing around me....! i see all those stupid monkeys, snakes, etc. so i kill bones to bananans, eat eat eat, i live to see another day :D but i use this spell alot and i like it hehe What would you ever be doing that leaves you fatally poisoned without food but WITH nature runes and fires? Even if you got a poison plant after you while alching it would never even come close to taking you down to half hits (or even 75% for that matter). I'm not saying it isn't a possibility... I'm just curious.
  4. Yeah... I'm aware with an intelligent partner that it can be done, but I've tried it with the random nearby player before and thus far none could grasp the concept... If you're putting that much planning into it, may as well have more than 2 anyway, imo :P
  5. you don't tan them. You get pieces from other creatures on waterbirth isle and have the locals in relekka make skeletal, rock shell, or spined armor. It's not hard to find what you need to kill for what pieces if you use the search feature.
  6. I'm really starting to doubt the completeness of the supposed list of champions somebody posted. I have a feeling there are definitely more :?
  7. I assume not. I still had scrolls after doing challenges and out of curiosity tried to use it on the guy there just get the message, "you have already defeated this champion" and had my scroll taken away.
  8. Hrmm. maybe we should sticky this till we have all info
  9. Only thing missing from the supposed list in resource files are Ghoul Champions. Everything else has been verified and I haven't seen anything other than what is on this list.
  10. I was just thinking the same thing :) We need any banner pics that he hasn't posted, please.
  11. very good lesser champion picture, you happen to have it in a higher detail saving? ;) still have seen NO SIGN of an imp or ghoul chamption
  12. lol if * they * didn't ask for help it would take MONTHS to get just the basic info. Not to mention it WILL take months to find out what happens when you defeat them all. This pic was given to me
  13. I've killed hundreds of things that give challenges with no luck yet. I'm camping it out at jogres for a while myself.
  14. Yes. You keep your 3 items though (unless skulled) Well here's the remaining pictures of the scrolls that you need, sorry that's all the info I have :$ Earth Warrior Ghoul Imp Jogre Skeleton Zombie Champion Scroll (human) thanks :) that seems to be the most commonly forgotten thing :)
  15. indeed the thread is quite helpful. a lot of the posts are only answering some of the questions though, which is why bambino posted this.
  16. Thanks again. When taking shot of the challenge scroll, leave the full RS window showing scroll in inventory and examine in chat box. 18. seems like a lot of work when u can get around 750k xp an hour :P
  19. You're forgetting 1 type of merchant, at least according to the views of those who have called me a merchant... call it what you want but it's a skill-based "merchant" This kind of "merchant", no matter what level in skill they are, buys supplies for various skills, uses these items for experience in a skill, then sells the product for profit. For example, buying bars and smithing for profit (sellin cannonballs, sets, arrowheads, whatever) Buying herbs and 2nds and selling potions for profit Buying gems and bars and selling jewelry buying rune essence and making natures among other things. Raising combat and getting valuable drops The key difference between this kind of "merchant" and the kind you listed is that they make their money from skills by selling products to players. There are several players who make all their cash from raising skills in profitable manners or drops from clues and other monsters. The benefit of this kind of "merchant" is that they get experience that CAN be measured by more than just their GP. If you want to be technical unless you get all supplies yourself and alch or use every product you make, you're a merchant.
  20. crush if I remember correctly, but either way, yes it does give defense.
  21. I'll edit it appropriately :) Sorry to say this, but you'll need at LEAST 3 people to even get through the first part of the island
  22. Umm... why would I give you credit for something I stumbled across myself? Granted, you posted a good thread on solo-ing, but I didn't use anything from your thread when writing my stuff...
